This is my first Smashbox eye palette, and I am a big fan! In terms of cost, it is more expensive than mainstream value brands of course, but because it is fairly compact, it isn't too expensive. I have bought the Urban Decay Naked palettes in the past, but I never end up using most of the shimmery shades, so I appreciate that I am only paying for what I will use regularly with this one. I am satisfied with wear, pigmentation, and texture for all shades in this palette. -

Nobody I know enjoys the taste of Tim Horton's coffee anymore since they changed suppliers (myself included), yet people are still buying their coffee. I suspect this is largely because their coffee is cheap, even after the prices went up, and because you can find a Tim's anywhere and anytime you need coffee. I had initially purchased this after extensive research, having been persuaded by the consistently positive reviews and the sweet, vanilla, and cacao accords described by others. So, when I saw it on sale from $80 for $40 at Rexall, of course I bought it! However, after longer wear, I was turned off by the amber base notes. I don't hate Princess, but I was hoping for something more suited to my personality.
I ended up returning it and deciding on Britney Spears Circus Fantasy instead at a fraction of the price with greater satisfaction. I will say that I am impressed by the longevity of Princess, which I could smell on my jacket days after wear. For the price, though, there are better options for me.

I did A LOT of research when choosing a new fragrance for the summer. I had initially decided on Vera Wang Princess, which seems to be among the most highly-rated and popular perfumes, so when I saw it on sale from $80 to $40 at Rexall, I immediately bought it without testing it first. I ended up returning Princess (not a fan of the amber base notes), but as I was leaving, I saw Britney Spears Circus Fantasy for $20. From my prior research, I had short-listed this particular perfume for its sweet accords and woody/vanilla base notes. This time, I was not disappointed! I love the raspberry and floral notes and am impressed by the longevity of this perfume, especially considering the price. I received compliments during the first day of wear. I plan to purchase more from the Fantasy line! -

I want to love Burt's Bees because they do not test on animals and are more ethically-conscious than other drugstore brands. However, their products tend to be hit-or-miss (with more misses than hits, in my experience). This lip balm did nothing to hydrate my lips. The texture is waxy and while there is a slight mintiness, there are many options that I consider more pleasantly-scented. -

I remember using the St. Ives apricot scrub for years back in high school and loving how soft it made my skin feel. Eventually, I switch to another brand, simply because I preferred the scent. After trying this new coconut and coffee scrub, I am committed to St. Ives once again! The fragrance reminds me of a delicious coconut latte, with all of the same benefits that I remember from the apricot scrub.

At 15, my dermatologist recommended an oil-free cleanser by Neutrogena (the one in the orange bottle) to treat my acne. At age 25, I am still loyal. Naturally, I was very interested in trying out this new cream-to-foam cleanser by Neutrogena. The application was enjoyable, and a little goes a long way. The grapefruit scent is a refreshing way to start the day.

I have used a few different brands of clay masks and would rate the effectiveness and quality of this particular brand to be comparable to others. Easy application and fairly easy rinse, did not feel overly tight while the mask dried, and left my skin feeling softer.
Like other products in this line by Neutrogena, the scent is invigorating and (like all Neutrogena products, PERIOD!) the value is excellent. I have been loyal to Neutrogena since my dermatologist recommended their oil-free face wash as a 15-year-old struggling with acne and will continue to purchase their products at 25!
