Although I have been dying my hair since I was about 14, I had never used a root touch-up product between dyes; I have always had reservations about these hair mascaras, worrying that they would impart an undesirable texture to my hair, either causing it to clump/mattify or making the roots appear oily (I already struggle with roots that become oily just one day after washing, but ends that become too dry with daily washing). While this product did not result in any clumping and was actually very easy to apply, it did make my hair appear greasy.
In terms of effectiveness, however, it definitely did the job of covering up my roots between dyes.
I would recommend this product for someone who wants to extend their time between dyes but does not have the same issue as I do surrounding roots prone to oiliness.

Colourpop seems to get consistently positive reviews for their eyeshadows, so I have wanted to give them a try for a while now. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them in Canada, so I ordered this palette on Amazon.com.
Pros:
- Great range of shades, including both matte and shimmery, highlights and contours
- Most of the shades are heavily pigmented and wear very well
- Worn with a primer, I noticed barely any creasing (and my eyelids are hooded, which means that they are especially prone to creasing!)
- Blendable
- Not tested on animals
- Fantastic value--on the Colourpop website, this palette is listed for $16 (I paid a bit more than that)
Cons:
- As with most palettes, there are some shades that are disappointing, but Forthright is the only shades that I would say isn't very pigmented
- Some shades swatch very similarly, although some people may appreciate this fact if they are heavy blenders

I love Bath & Body Works! I am always able to find such pleasant fragrances, with new and seasonal varieties being offered each time. In terms of value, you are able to get a decent price if you buy multiple products at once, which is never a problem for me since I can't choose just one! I plan to continue to buy my soaps here. -
I am a big fan of Walden Farms products! You definitely wouldn't mistake this stuff for real maple syrup in my opinion (it is sweet, but the consistency is a little thinner), but you also wouldn't guess that it was calorie-free! I love the taste... +
I am a big fan of Walden Farms products! You definitely wouldn't mistake this stuff for real maple syrup in my opinion (it is sweet, but the consistency is a little thinner), but you also wouldn't guess that it was calorie-free! I love the taste, but I realize that other people are sensitive to artificial sweeteners. In terms of value, a $6 bottle doesn't last too long, so I only buy these once in a while. -

As someone who drinks tea primarily for the health benefits, I really appreciate this new Tetley line of Super Teas! This Tetley Super Herbal Tea Immune Lemon & Echinacea with Zinc is made from ingredients which have been shown to support immune function. It contains real lemongrass as the first ingredient, as well as echinacea leaves, cinnamon, ginger root, licorice root, honey, and zinc.
I would recommend this to anyone struggling to get through a cold, because not only is lemon ginger tea comforting when sick, but it can also help with some of the symptoms while speeding recovery. But I would also recommend this to anyone who ISN'T sick, because it is better to prevent a cold with a healthy immune system than to recover from one!

I used to drink green tea only for the health benefits, but never enjoyed the taste before discovering this Tetley Super Green Boost Berry Burst, along with the Tropical version of Super Green, both of which are less bitter than other green tea brands.
This tea contains real fruit ingredients, making it more palatable, along with vitamin B6. Green tea is believed to aid in weight loss by boosting metabolism; for this reason, vitamin B6 (which is also necessary for metabolism) is a fantastic complement.
I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who are consuming green tea for the health benefits and/or weight loss.

I used to drink green tea purely for the health benefits, but never really enjoyed the taste--until now! I am grateful to have discovered Tetley Super Green Tea Antiox Tropical with Vitamin C, which is milder and a tad sweeter/less bitter than other green teas that I have tried, making it more palatable.
Equally if not more important than the taste are the health benefits, which extend beyond other green tea brands. While green tea and vitamin C each offer health benefits on their own, research suggests that vitamin C enhances the absorption of catechins in the green tea. Catechins are the compounds largely responsible for the healthful properties of green tea (e.g. reducing the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease).
I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and would encourage those who do not consider themselves to be fans of green tea to give this brand a try!

Although I prefer local cafes, Second Cup is my favorite nation-wide coffee shop. Second Cup has several advantages over both McCafe and Tim Hortons:
- Offers non-dairy milk alternatives
- Offers flavored coffee (Butter Pecan and Belgian Chocolate are my FAVORITES!)
- Is Canadian-owned (founded in Toronto, based in Mississauga)
In addition, 80% of Second Cup's coffees are Rainforest Alliance Certified, and while I do enjoy Starbucks on occasion, Second Cup provides a much better value.

I currently use a similar product by another brand. Comparing this with my regular brand, the Nivea product is less effective at removing my stubborn waterproof eyeliner, while also costing slightly more.
I have also used other micellar products aside from my regular brand, and I would say this Nivea product is fairly average in terms of effectiveness and cost.
To summarize, I will stick with my current brand.
