This worked out decently for me. It definetely provided a smooth canvas for my makeup, but I can't say that it kept the foundation long lasting or anything like that. I felt a little claustrophobic with this on my face, it was probably mental (because, you know, chafing gel..), but I quit using it for fear that it was clogging my pores. If you don't have sensitive skin and you're just looking for a cheap alternative to some more expensive primers, I'd say give it a whirl. -

HGS! (Holy Grail Status).
This primer blew me out of the water. I have extremely oily eyelids and I would've never dreamed that something that costs a mere $1 would ever hold up so well. It doesn't last as long as things like UDPP or Two Faced Shadow Insurance, but it comes amazingly close. It's definitely the best drugstore shadow primer I've ever tried. The only thing I don't like is that it has no pigment, which isn't a big deal -- I just wish it would hide some discoloration as well. Overall, I'm seriously impressed.

These things are the bomb.com, talk about convenience! They're great for cleaning up eyeliner and other mistakes, whether it's during application or after removal. No complaints here.

This stuff is great! I find that it's better for removing face makeup than anything else, but it does the trick over all. To be honest, I don't really like to use this to remove my eye makeup, per-se. It stings, and doesn't get all traces of my mascara and eyeliner off. I have found another AMAZING use for it though. After I remove my makeup, I wash my face and/or take a shower. When I'm done, any eye makeup that didn't come off before is now smudged all underneath my eyes. So I grab a q-tip and dip it in the cold cream cap, and then use that to wipe away the smeared makeup. It works like a charm! No oily residue, and no hassle. Another plus is that using it this way means the jar will last you a lifetime! Lol. -

I was originally really unhappy with these. They stung a little and dried out in the container. Shopping one day, I saw that they came out with a new "moisturizing" formula, so I decided to give it another chance. Oh-Em-Gee, love them. They make mascara removal really easy, no tugging or pulling required, no lash-loss reported. They don't burn or make my eyes itch, either. I really love the convenience and effectiveness. -

I was pretty disappointed in this. I didn't really expect much, seeing as I got it cheap on sale. It did remove even my waterproof makeup as it claimed, but it was way too harsh on my eye area. My eyes burned and itched, including the skin around them, for quite a while afterwards. I originally thought that perhaps I was just allergic, but then I found out that I wasn't the only one with this issue. I have always been a fan of the Neutrogena makeup remover, which can get a bit pricey (sometimes $7 or $8 a bottle), and then I later found out that this Rimmel one is $2 more.. really?! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with sensitive eyes, or really to anyone in general. Disappointed! -

This makeup remover really impressed me! Right off the bat, it's not oil-free. So if you don't like that, then it's not for you, especially because there is a semi-greasy residue left behind. I never thought I'd like a makeup remover that wasn't oil-free, as I have oily skin. But I was really pleasantly surprised. This took all my eye makeup off, even my really stubborn mascara and waterproof eyeliner, with no tugging or pulling. It was extremely gentle and didn't burn my eyes, although they were a bit blurry afterwards and I had to rinse them out with water.
If you're someone who wants desperately to grow their eyelashes, this is for you! My lashes grew like weeds for as long as I was using this stuff. Great product!

This is the best eye-makeup remover I've ever tried. It doesn't take a lot of product, and it really does a great job of breaking down my mascara (which is my biggest concern). I don't have to tug or pull on my eyes, and I don't lose lashes. It... +

I don't have to tug or pull on my eyes, and I don't lose lashes. It doesn't burn or irritate my eyes, either. It still leaves behind a sort of greasy film, despite being oil free, but it's nothing that a little warm water doesn't wash away. Love this stuff! -

This stuff is very similar to cold cream, only much more expensive and it's an enormous nightmare. The smell is horrendous -- it reminds me of carrots, and the thought of massaging a vegetable into my skin isn't exactly appealing. It's impossible to use this around your eye area, even though the title suggests you should, because it burns as if you've just dumped an entire bottle of dish detergent into your pupils. The "gently removes makeup, even waterproof mascara" claim on the front of the bottle is extremely far fetched, as is the one that says "conditions and soothes eye area." Get real, Neutrogena! Save your money. -

This was an okay brush cleaner for me. It's better than other things I've tried, which boosted its rating, but it isn't exactly amazing. I really like it for face brushes because of the fact that it's antibacterial. The smell is a bit like alcohol, but not quite, it's got a pleasant twist. I just spray some directly onto my brush (you can spray it onto the towel/tissue instead), and then swirl my brush on a fluffy towel in circular motions until either no more product comes out, or the brush looks completely clean. My brushes do generally come completely clean with one spray. I have the smaller version of the bottle and I will repurchase it unless I hear about something better.
Hope this was helpful.
