I bought this mascara because I heard a lot of good things about E.L.F and I wanted to try some of their products out. To be fair, I probably should have known that since this mascara was only $1 that it wouldn't have been that great, but I bought it anyways. I got it home, and I went to use it and the wand was stuck. I thought that maybe it was just stiff or something, so I tugged on the end lightly to try and get it to come out of the tube.. and guess what? It snapped off. The wand was left in the tube. I tried the other side, and the same thing happened. I was shocked. I then received another E.L.F mascara (and other products) a little later on, and I tried using this one as well. Let's just say history repeated itself with this product. So, if you're looking for a cheap mascara, and you want to actually be able to use it, don't get this one. And the people that I know that were actually able to get the wand out of the bottle, said that it was dried up and didn't work. Not so good.
I do not recommend this product at all.

I was reading an issue of Cosmopolitan a while back and there was an advertisement for Ralph Lauren's new perfume, Notorious. They had a sample of it, and as soon as I smelled it I fell in love. I just had to get it. So my boyfriend surprised me by bringing it home as a present. It is the most sexy smell I have ever smelt. It's just exudes glamor. It smells fruity, and musky at the same time, it is just amazingly wonderful. It's a bit too musky to wear during the daytime, but it is a great scent for nighttime parties, clubbing, or if you just feel like smelling sexy. It is well worth the price you pay for it. The packaging is very sophisticated and just finishes everything off perfectly. When I look at it I think of diamonds and jewels and anything expensive and beautiful. I just love everything about it.
I definitely recommend this perfume.

I really love this mascara because it really adds a lot of volume and thickness to my lashes. It's almost as if I was wearing false lashes, which is amazing. I love that it gives a lot of length also. For the price, this mascara is definitely worth it, and the quality is phenomenal. I find that the waterproof lash blast is virtually impossible to come off, which is good, until you want to take it off.
I definitely recommend this mascara to everyone. :)

For an affordable makeup remover from Walmart, I am very pleased with it.
I used to use the Marcelle gel makeup remover, but I like this a lot more. The gel is very goopy and gets into your eyes, luckily it doesn't sting. But I find that I like the liquid form better. You use less, and the packaging is better. This remover is oil free, perfume free, and hypo-allergenic. It is safe for contact lens wearers, like myself, and the best thing is, it really works. I find that it gets rid of my makeup in no time at all. And you don't have to use a lot, like the gel. And it's really refreshing! It makes my eyes feel more awake, and I just love it. And unlike the gel, you can put makeup on right afterward and it does not cause any problems.
For the price it is well worth it. You don't need to pay more for high end products, because this works just as well. I definitely do not have any complaints, and I've been using Marcelle remover for years and I will continue to I'm sure for a long time.
I highly recommend this product.

This Pur Minerals Crease brush works well for the price you pay for it. Generally speaking $18 is a lot to spend on a makeup brush, at least in this time of recession. It is a fluffy dome crease brush that works alright for blending, but unfortunately will never compare to MAC's 224.
Every time I use it the hairs fall out of the brush and I am not happy about that. With new brushes the hairs tend to fall out, and that's normal. But even after cleansing the brush many times and using it frequently the hairs still fall out. Not good. Also the hairs are not very soft at all, especially since I have sensitive eyes. I find them quite rough. I also find that it blends very harshly and takes away a lot of my eyeshadow and I have to re-apply most times. I want to blend the the shadow's together, not wipe them away completely.
But if you want a cheap alternative to MAC's 224, then this will do the job. But must say, when blending, don't press too hard, blend more gently so your shadow's still stay vibrant and don't look very washed out.

I had bought a new set of makeup brushes and I needed a good brush cleanser, and I am very happy with Lise Watier's Makeup Brush Cleanser. It was $13 at Shoppers Drugmart and I find that it works very well!
It cleans and disinfects without water, so if you are traveling or just want/need a brush cleanser that does not require water then it's perfect. All you do is spray it directly onto your brushes, and wipe on a tissue or a cotton pad. Your brushes are perfectly disinfected, dry, and ready to use in only a few short minutes. This brush cleanser works on natural, and synthetic makeup brushes which is excellent.
This product is absolutely worth every penny. And it also smells really good! Underneath the slight smell of alcohol, it smells really sweet, but can be a bit over powering if you are not in a well ventilated space. I will most definitely buy this cleanser again, and I highly recommend it.

I bought this eye shadow primer from Coastal Scents at the same time that I purchased my palette because it was a good price and I needed a primer. I do not regret buying this product, but I would not buy it again.
It is a "gentle staying power" primer, and it is exactly that. This primer is nothing extraordinary, and to an extent I am kind of disappointed. To it's advantage it makes shadow's appear vivid and vibrant, but with my eye shape I find that this primer creases.. A lot! This primer is clear, and does not have any colour tint to it, which I like since I have such fair skin and have never found a product that matches my skin tone.
If I just apply it to underneath my brow bone and up to my crease, it works fine. But when applying it over my entire lid, I am not impressed. This primer will never compare to Urban Decay's Primer Potion, or Too-Faced Shadow Insurance, but for the price, you get what you pay for, and nothing less.
If you want an inexpensive primer that will hold colour well, and you have an a certain eye type that your crease does not cover your eyelids then it's perfect. But for hooded and most deep set eyes, you will find that it creases along your crease, looks oily, smudges, and does not last.
I recommend it, but would never purchase it again.

I thought that I would review the Coastal Scents 88 Color Eye Shadow Palette. I first heard about this palette when watching makeup tutorials from guru's on Youtube. Ever since I saw it, I knew that I was going to love it. And it did not disappoint!
I was very excited when I received my palette in the mail, I just couldn't wait! There are 88 highly pigmented eye shadows that come in this palette. You can purchase the matte/satin, or the ultra shimmer palette, and there is almost every colour that you could possibly think of! They are very beautiful and pigmented when used with a good eye shadow primer, and they blend very well! I was very impressed.
Unfortunately the shadows are, well, as small as a dime, but with the price you can't go wrong! These palettes are also circulating around Ebay for much higher prices since Coastal Scents originally did not have their logo on their palettes. I believe that credit should go to CoastalScents.com because they are the original makers of these these wonderful impressive quality palettes, and their hard work definately shows!
I highly recommend this palette to everyone!
