I absolutely love the look and message of this My Clarins line of products. I am so excited to have received this mist free from ChickAdvisor and Clarins to review, as I never would have bought this for myself, especially at the price point of $22 CAD. While I love the weight of the bottle and the simple design, I just do not know how to review a beauty mist. The Clarins website reads: "This beautifying fruity floral water preps your skin for day/night treatments, moisturizes, and boosts its glow."
I agree that the mist as a slightly fruity scent - it is really a lovely smell, and it doesn't linger throughout the day so it will not bother people who are more sensitive to scent. I have experimented with using this mist during different times of day and different steps in my skincare/makeup routine and just can't figure out if it's making a difference or not. I haven't noticed it "boost[ing my] glow", but I have really enjoyed the luxurious feeling of spraying it on my face. It makes me feel super glam, and absolutely refreshes my skin, although I do think spraying any sort of water on the skin will feel this same level of refreshing. I think the spray nozzle could be improved by expanding the width of the spray, and decreasing the intensity of the spray. I'm very conflicted; if you can afford this beauty mist, then it's really lovely. If you don't have the spare $22 CAD + tax lying around, absolutely skip over this one because honestly, you can DIY a beauty spray super easily, and is a mist even necessary in a skin care routine? It is definitely at the peak of skincare luxury.

My first impression of this product was very positive, due to the heavy weight of the bottle and the clean, sleek design. Additionally, in the kit sent to me for free from ChickAdvisor and Clarins, the mailing package was small and easily recyclable. The cardboard boxes that the products came in had a beautiful print on them, making me reluctant to get rid of those boxes. I still have them on my dresser as decoration.
The moisturizer itself is a very rich and smooth consistency, which is what I prefer in a moisturizer. I have tried using it in the morning and at night, and the only problem I have with using it in the morning is that it makes the SPF I put on afterwards pill up on my face. My "pill up", I mean that the SPF combines with the moisturizer and rolls up in little balls all over my face, which is quite annoying. So I will only use this in the morning if I am not putting SPF on afterwards.
I love the subtle scent of the product; it is really quite lovely and makes the application process more luxurious, but the scent is not one that sticks around, so you will not smell it after putting it on.
It looks like this product retails for $27 on the Clarins website, and while my experience with the moisturizer has so far been very positive, I don't know if I would go out and spend that much money for this moisturizer. I would certainly use it if anyone were to gift it to me, and I would absolutely buy this product if I ever caught it on sale, but for $27 CAD plus tax, I think there are other more affordable products out there that have a similar effect.

I was very excited upon receiving a complimentary bottle of sunscreen in the mail, and I am a big fan of the pretty packaging. I love the idea of adding hyaluronic acid to a sunscreen and had high hopes. However, the sunscreen just doesn't sit comfortable on my skin. Throughout the day, I can feel a foreign layer just resting on my skin. One day, I was wearing shorts and I sunscreened my legs. A few hours later, I changed out of my shorts and into full-length leggings, and I felt like the sunscreen was almost rubbing against and catching onto the inside of my leggings. It was a very bizarre feeling. Overall, I think there are other sunscreens that absorb into the skin better. I cannot tell whether or not the hyaluronic acid is making a difference in hydrating my skin. -

I love the idea of adding hyaluronic acid to a hand cream! This complimentary bottle couldn't have arrived at a better time; I just recently moved inland and away from the coast, and my new location has given me extremely dry skin. My fingers especially are feeling the worst of it. I use this hand cream only at night because I am actually not a fan of how it feels on my hands. It's a hard feeling to describe - the cream is rather liquid-y (hence why it is labelled as a "hand gel cream"), which is not a problem for me, but when it dries down on your skin, it leaves a residue feeling that is rather uncomfortable. I would hate to put this on in the morning and have to go throughout the day feeling like there's a foreign layer of something on my hands. I do think it does an effective job of hydrating the skin though. And I really enjoy the look of the packaging! -

So these little makeup remover packets are absolutely adorable! I love tiny little things. However, it's so unnecessary to wrap ever single wipe in its own plastic package. I can see why these could be useful for people who might be staying somewhere for just one night, and need only one makeup wipe, but you could easily bring a full-sized package of wipes as well. These could also be useful for throwing in your handbag and using on the go, but again, you could probably fit a full-sized package of wipes in your handbag as well. The actual make-up removing ability of these wipes are pretty much the same as every other wipe on the market. I haven't found any stand-out wipes yet. -

Firstly, the decorative packaging of the dry shampoo bottle is very cute and something that I enjoy leaving and seeing on my bathroom counter. The product itself has a pleasant smell to it that you can slightly detect upon spraying, but which disappears when its in your hair.
I think this dry shampoo is better for light-haired people because it comes out very, very white, especially on my jet black hair. Some of it brushed out of my hair easily, but a good amount showed to be very difficult to brush out. It took me a few minutes to remove all the white stuff from my hair. I don't feel like I sprayed too much on, so that was quite annoying. However, the product did voluminize my hair quite nicely and my hair feels very clean with the product in it.

This looks like a knockoff of the Jergens tanning moisturizer. The packaging is essentially the same. However, this product ended up leaving really noticeable splotches on my skin, so I returned it. I also found that it was really sticky after applying, and it wouldn't go away for quite a while, so it left me rather uncomfortable. I also didn't notice any signs of moisturization. In fact, I think it left my skin dryer. -

I've used two eyeliners from Essence, the gel eyeliner pen and their long-lasting pencil, both of which I would re-purchase. However, this one did not do it for me. I like the concept of having a liner at either end of the pen, and the pen is super long which made me feel like I was getting more product. Unfortunately, the liquid liner was terrible! It tugged at my eyebrow and had lower-than-average pigmentation. Mostly it just really hurt to apply. It was quite painful and for that reason, I returned the product immediately. -

The formula of this stuff is fun to play with, though it's not actually bouncy. It should be called "Dream Squishy." The colour of this one is really pretty and looks nice on the cheeks, however it's not amazing at blending, just so-so. Lasting power is decent.
Not too much of a fan of the packaging as the lid of mine fell off while it was in my makeup bag and it ended up leaving a huge mess. I was very upset by that. Now the blush looks disgusting and the lid can't stay on.
