I took a pretty big chance on this mascara as it is about 3x more pricey than my usual tube but the extra cash turned out to be totally worth it! I liked this mascara better than Benefit's They're Real! I have found that it has difficulty attaching to my natural lashes and applies best with either some of last nights mascara remaining, or in two coats. By doing one eye, then the other, and adding a topcoat to the first eye, then the second, the mascara gets just enough time to become a little tacky for better application. I will 100% purchase this again, even if it means eating instant noodles for a week! -

This stuff is fantastic. I wanted to treat myself to a good compact and the staff at MAC were very helpful. The compact is very versatile. If I have a day where I just need a little something on my face, I brush this stuff on with a big fluffy brush. If I feel like I need a little more coverage, I apply it with the sponge and a little concealer underneath.
And its portable! Perfect for touch ups on the go.

I've wanted to get a Burt's Bee's lip-balm FOREVER. I was looking at all the different choices, trying to pick one and I figured that the one with sunscreen in it would be better than just the regular one.
Honestly, next time I'll be going with the original. The suncare one is waxy and hard. I found that it actually made my lips look drier. This can be solved by taking an old toothbrush or a sugar and honey mixture to my lips but still.
Its also kind of pricey for a lip balm. My regular chapstick is only $2 but of course with my new all-natural obsession this seemed like the best route to go.

I noticed on the package that it said to layer without allowing to dry in between coats, so thats what I did. I hardly had any clumps, which is a win right there. The length is amazing. About the third day I wore it, I actually noticed how long my lashes were. I also noticed that this mascara does not flake at all (yay!).
I love that the brush is curved. I've had mascaras with curved brushes before of course, but it really is helpful.
The price for this product is great. It was only about $9 at London Drugs. I don't usually buy the same mascara twice, but now I just might.

They're really more for the product to look appealing. I also found that the product was kind of slimy on my face and hard to rinse off. It wasn't my favorite scent, to be honest. It was really more the cold water that woke me up I think. -

I honestly had much higher expectations for this product. I actually didn't like it so much that I feel compelled to come here and warn other readers and I want to message the company.
First of all, the colours are beautiful. That, I love. However after an hour (I'm not kidding, by 9:30am my eyeshadow was toast) all of the colour had creased like crazy. I like to think that this problem could be solved with a little primer but I don't have any and can't find any anywhere!
Second, I actually had a reaction to this product! After using it for two days I noticed that my eyelids had gone puffy and red. I didn't use the shadow today in an effort to get rid of this reaction. My eyes are still puffy and they sting a little. This is the reason why I wanted to contact the company.
Honestly, I would really not recommend this product. Don't be fooled. I'd say its just as worth it to learn how to do the smokey eye with a good powder shadow. Not to mention that there are plenty of smokey shadow quads on the market that are better than this.

When I got home and told my mom about it she told me that apricot scrubs can actually scratch your face and when you exfoliate it always better to use something with round beads in it. To be honest, that really put me off. I won't be using this again. -
