Hello Christine, I'm just popping by to give you my Pinterest username; it's "myoceansunrise8". I hope that you are enjoying your weekend and not working too hard. I tried a dessert recipe from Pinterest yesterday and everyone loved it. This site sure comes in handy. I haven't got a lot of pins but I'm adding some daily. I hope that you find something that interests you. I love the fact that I can create boards showcasing all the things I enjoy collecting, doing or that are of interest to me. Time flies by when you're having fun.I trust that all is good with you. The warm weather is good for the soul and we're already thinking of the beach. It's nice to have something to look forward to.I'm off but will drop by tomorrow. Take good care of yourself Leo Sister! Ciao Bella! :)

Hello Leo Sister,

Did you take advantage of your days off and get a lot of
things done? I think that we’ve both
been extra busy lately.

I wanted to let you know that I’m following you on
Pinterest. I just joined not too long
ago and I’m slowly getting into organizing my boards. You’ve done an excellent job of keeping track
of all your things. I’m having a grand
time finding items that I like. It’s
nice encountering other people who share the same interests.

I found the channel that has the paranormal shows you
mentioned to me. There were quite a few including
“Amish Haunting”. I’m taping them and I’ll
let you know what I think. They sound interesting
and we’ll see if I need to sleep with the light turned on after I watch them
and go to bed. LOL! I watched an episode of “Celebrity Ghost
Stories” last night and I had chills all over.
It was too scary that I deleted the dozen shows that I had taped. They are too intense for me. Kim Russo has a more mellow approach and is
genuine to the core.

I’ve got to cut is short today as I need to finish many
tasks. I wish you an awesome weekend.

Take good care of yourself and keep smiling! Ciao Bella!

Hello Leo Sister,

How adorable to have a snuggle fest with all your
babies. Our pets offer us such comfort
and can instantly have a calming effect.
I wish we didn’t have to separate our three pets at all times. I find it very stressful and taxing on my
spirit. Challenges make you stronger and
I’m always up for one. In time
everything will work itself out.

I just read that you should save the water you use to cook
pasta or vegetables because it is full of vitamins and nutrients. Let it cool off and water your plants with
it. Your garden will flourish. What a great tip.

Pizza is my favourite dish to eat. I call it the food of the Gods. Pizza is good anytime and just warms your
heart. Pizza and Schweppes Ginger Ale is
my idea of a reward.

I haven’t seen the “Haunted Collector”. I don’t think I have the channel that it
plays on because I’ve never seen it listed in the programming schedule. I’ll have to look into that. I watch “The Haunting” every week. Two
episodes stand out in my mind. The first
is with “Michael Madsen”. He is such a
sweetheart beneath that tough guy image.
It was just so touching to see all the people that wanted to communicate
with him. It was his Rottweiler’s visit
(his name was Blue) that had me in tears.
He described his last moments with such anguish. It was comforting to see how the dog came
back to one last time to tell him that he was OK. The second was the wrestler “Roddy Piper”. That poor man has been suffering since all
his wrestling friends have died off one by one. The spirit of his best friend has been watching
over him and his family since his death over 30 years ago. He saved Roddy and his family from a
potential fire. The hardest part for me
was when the spirit told Kim to ask why Roddy goes into a certain room in his
house. It was then that Roddy admitted
that he goes there and prays that he never wakes up. How tragic that this poor man feels so
lonesome now that all this wrestling buddies have crossed over and left him behind. I find the episodes so powerful and a
testament to the strength of the human spirit.
I feel drained after watching every show. I can just imagine how Kim must feel.

Today was a day for decorating and a bit of baking. I have some crafting projects on the go and
the kids have school projects that they need help with. There is no time to be idle when you have a
house full of children and pets.

I wish you a great night and keep on relaxing a bit every
day. Exercise is my way of relaxing and
unwinding. I don’t want to imagine what I’d
be like if I couldn’t work out. Yikes!

Bye for now! Ciao Bella!

Hello Leo Sister! The
warmer weather brings out the best in people but it would be nice if they could
keep that cheery outlook all year long.
Reminds of that Christmas feeling of goodwill towards mankind that is
unfortunately, forgotten after the holidays.
Thankfully we are positive and compassionate women who treat others the
way we’d like to be treated. Women have
been known throughout the beginning of time to make a difference in everyone’s
lives.

I find baking relaxing and it is rewarding to see the look
on my family’s faces when they take that first bite. My kids are a bit picky so that first look
might not be as amazing as I pictured it in my head. LOL!
Kids will be kids and they are after all developing their taste
buds. Isn’t it much simpler and less
stressful when you plan ahead? I let
each member of my family select a meal for the week. Everyone has the opportunity to savour a meal
that they enjoy eating. Yes, you’re
correct my Nonna is Italian and gifted us with traditional Italian recipes
passed down from one generation to the next.
I believe that “An Italian meal is love on a plate”. Food preparation and eating is all about
family. All I’ve learned about baking
and life is thanks to my Nonna.

Congratulations on your decision to make a healthy lifestyle
change; that is amazing, I’m very proud of you.
Making that decision is hard and to stick to it takes a lot courage and
determination. Good for you and don’t
give up because you’re worth it.

I just finished decorating my house for Easter. I look forward to the upcoming holidays and birthdays
so that I can have an excuse to decorate.
I enjoy taking out my cherished decorations that I’ve been collecting
for many years. The house looks festive
and ready for the Easter Bunny. A batch
of warm “Brownie Blondies” just came out of the oven. They smell heavenly! Remember the saying “A moment on the lips, a
lifetime on the hips”. LOL! In my book I believe in sampling everything
in moderation and “A workout a day keeps the extra pounds at bay”.

I’ll catch you later!
Ciao Bella!

Hello Christine,

I hope that you enjoyed your weekend and managed to find the
time to rest. It was a busy one for
me. I had some shopping to do and I
planned some meals for the week. I baked
some cookies, muffins, a loaf and a cake.
I also made some of my Nonna’s spaghetti sauce and then used the
spaghetti sauce to make a mouth watering “Four Cheese Lasagna”. I feel proud of myself to have accomplished
so much in what feels like so little time.
I’m happy to have a break from kitchen duty. I love to bake but it’s all the accumulation
of pots and pans that dampen my spirits.
Like I always tell my kids finish the boring stuff first so that you can
have the rest of the time to do the things you enjoy. I did and my reward was quiet family time and
an incredible workout.

I was thinking about what Kim Russo said in an episode of “The
Haunting”. She mentioned that the spirit
of the previous owners of objects that we collect still linger around their
belongings and that might have a positive or negative influence in our
lives. That revelation was a bit unsettling
and had me thinking if we should cleanse our new treasures. I wouldn’t want to attract bad luck. Imagine if we could see what Kim sees when
she walks into our home. I don’t think I
want to know, see or feel if someone who has crossed over is residing with
me. I’m getting goosebumps just thinking
about it.

Your roast chicken dinner sounds delicious; the boys must have
had quite the appetite.

Thank you so much for your kind works regarding my writing. It’s a passion that has been part of my life
for as long as I can remember. It flows
out of me without even thinking about it.
I remember in my English Writing class we would begin the class with 15
minutes of creative writing. We could
write about anything we wanted. After the
15 minutes has elapsed I was still furiously writing. The teacher would give me the time to
complete my work and had confidence in my ability to write and keep up with her
lecture. She was the most amazing
teacher I ever had. She gave me the
greatest compliment when she shared with me that my writing was so real that
she could see, smell, hear, taste and touch what I penned on paper. I never forgot her kindness and would relish
the opportunity to meet her and thank her for believing in me and nurturing my
talent with her encouragement. I’ve tried seeking her out but she must have
remarried. If it’s meant to be we’ll
connect again.

I shall bid you goodnight.
Enjoy your few days off; you deserve a break my Leo Sister.

Talk to you soon!
Ciao Bella!
