Good for you for finding your slice of heaven. I think that we are drawn subconsciously to a
specific locale for a reason and sometimes its purpose it unknown to us. It seems that you needed the calming effect of
Mother Nature. Do you ever have any
wildlife come on your property?

You sound like a supportive close knit family. Billy made the right decision coming to live
with you.

I didn’t get chosen for either of the campaigns. My luck of the Irish has fizzled out this
month. I haven’t won anything (contests)
of major significance this month anywhere.
A few samples here and there have landed on my doorstep. You win some,
you lose some. Hopefully something
exciting is heading my way. Enjoy trying
out these products. Lucky you the
chocolate bars sound divine. Since
chocolate is an aphrodisiac (or so they say but we’ll eat it either way) it
will definitely set you in the mood for trying out the Trojan product. I’ve only gotten one product to test
(Batiste) since I joined in January; I’m optimistic I might just be considered
next time.

How long has you been at ChickAdvisor and how many products
have you been asked to test thus far?

I want to get in a few reviews before I tick off some items
on my list. Enjoy your day!

Bye for now! Ciao
Bella!

Hello Leo Sister,

Your peaceful life in the country sounds so relaxing and
calming. Heading outside to enjoy the warming
weather is the best way to greet the day.
We are fortunate to have four very distinctive seasons. I can’t imagine having the same weather all
year long. I look forward to the arrival
of a new season as we start to take pleasure in the hobbies and activities that
are associated with that season. This
way we always have something to look forward to. I’m proud to live in this beautiful
country. We have a rich history and we
too have an important part in continuing the work of our forebears. We too will leave our mark and make a
difference in our own unique way.

Don’t work too hard on Sunday and find time to unwind. I hope that your stepson is getting the hang
of his new job. He’ll be a pro in no
time thanks to you.

Bye for now my friend!
Ciao Bella!

I hope that we find someone in our families to pass on our
treasured collectibles. I’d hate to find
out that everything was donated or sold but then again if it went to another
collector who would treasure them that would be comforting.

Your stepson is so lucky to have you in his life. I’m certain that he thanks his lucky stars to
have your support and such a kind-hearted maternal figure in his life. It’s touching to hear how the two of you
share a special bond. He sounds like a
remarkable young man who has a bright future ahead of him. I wish him well in his studies. Living with you and your husband has given a
good foundation to help him build his life and set roots. You are so thoughtful and generous; he is a
fortunate young man who will remember your kindness and go on to help others as
you’ve helped him.

I am a proud mother of two amazing children who will not be making
me a grandmother for many years to come.
They are the center of my universe and I would do anything for
them. They are such thoughtful and compassionate
souls who think of others. They are both
Leos through and through. They keep me
busy and every moment I spend with them is a priceless gift. I’ve wanted to be a mother for as long as I
can remember and I feel very fortunate to have my dream realized. You too are an inspiring mother to your
stepson and four-legged babies. Their
lives would be very different if they didn’t have your love and support. Love is not measured by the DNA we share but
by the selfless acts of kindness and thoughtful gestures we bestow upon the
people we hold dear.

I forgot to mention that I also collect sun catchers. I hung a few today to watch them glow in the
sunlight. Such unique works of art that
you can find in any theme that strikes your fancy.

I’ll drop by later on to catch up on things! Take care and keep smiling! Ciao Bella!

Thank you so much for commenting on my photos! My trusted camera is always by my side. I never leave home without it. I enjoy taking photos and capturing on film that magical unplanned moment. Those I find are the photos you can take. You just have to get lucky. They are few and far between but so well worth it. Nature is my photography muse. Her ever changing beauty is in inspiration and the ideal background for all my photographic projects. My most challenging subjects are my pets. They either close their eyes or think that I want to play with them. Let's just say that I'm happy the age of digital cameras are upon us because I'd be using a lot of film. LOL!I added a few photos if you're interested in checking them out. For some reason I couldn't upload for the past few days. Thanks for your comment that reminded me to insert additional photos.Bye for now! Ciao Bella!

Good morning Christine!
You have the collecting bug too.
Once you start is it’s hard to stop.
I’ve lost track of how many things I collect but I enjoy it and that’s all
that matters. Do you collect anything
Leo zodiac themed? If I see anything Leo
I want it.

I have two Leo zodiac spoons and a lovely Royal Doulton lady
figurine wearing a red dress (my favourite colour). I definitely have many cookbooks that I use
as reference. I collect classic movie
books from the 1930s and 1940s. I love
designs with roses or butterflies too.
Someone gave me a teapot from the Bombay Company that has adorable cats
all over. It’s a rather unique piece and
quite the conversation starter. I tell
you we accumulate many things over the years.
Once in awhile I go through my things and reminisce. My father gave me a scrapbook that he
purchased at an antique store. Inside
were photos, pamphlets, receipts for food and gas among many other treasures
detailing the trip of a couple who set off to visit the States. It was such a perfect gift for me. I love going through it and seeing the trip
through their eyes. I feel that this lady
and I are kindred spirits. This is exactly
what I do when I come back from a trip. I feel sad that her family chose to sell off
this family keepsake. Not everyone
thinks the same way but I certainly appreciate it.

Don’t work too hard and I hope your feel better soon. If you have a special dessert recipe to share
with me I would be more than glad to try it.
My hubby has a sweet tooth and I’m forever searching for new and sweet
recipes to make for him.

Take care and keep smiling!
Ciao Bella!

You're in luck; I already had this recipe typed up. Let me know if you enjoy it! Ciao Bella!Lemon Poppyseed Pound Loaf 2 cups all-purpose
flour2 tbs. poppyseeds½ tsp. baking powder¼ tsp. baking soda¼ tsp. salt2 large lemons¾ cup margarine or
butter, softened1 or 1½ cups
granulated sugar3 large eggs1 tsp. vanilla extract½ cup sour creamIcing sugar Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease
and flour 9x5 metal loaf pan. In medium
bowl combine first 5 ingredients. Grate
lemon peel and squeeze juice from lemons.
In large bowl, with
mixer at low speed, beat margarine with 1 or 1 ½ cups sugar until blended. At high speed beat until light, about 5
minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating
well at each addition. Beat in lemon
peel and vanilla. At low speed,
alternately add flour mixture and sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Spoon batter into pan and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until cake
tester inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool cake in pan on
wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from
pan. Mix lemon juice and icing sugar
together until the consistency is spreadable. Add the lemon juice a bit at a

A lovely visit is just what you needed. You can plan another visit with Cousin
Dawn. I’m a collector but not a
hoarder. I just believe that things;
especially antiques have a second life.
I don’t keep junk I just have specific collections that are stored or
displayed and well organized. This might
be the opportunity for Dawn to help out a charity by offering items she no
longer uses or need. Everyone benefits
and she has a clutter new living space.

It’ so nice to hear that there are caring people who value
the lives of countless abandoned cats.
If you’re going to let your cat roam; do him/her a favour and have them
fixed. When I see these cats outside; I
always worry that someone might back up on them by mistake. My worse fear is that cruel kids might
torture them. It’s not a life but some
of these cats like Rocky have such a strong pull to the outdoors that you can’t
do anything about it. We adopted two
barn cats (female sisters) years ago and they lived a long life. Thankfully none of them wanted to go
outside. I think that they had enough on
the farm. I never understood why the
farmer and his wife never had the male neutered. The females kept having litter of kittens and
the wife would try to find these sweet fur balls a home. The wise option would be to get the male
fixed once and for all. I don’t
understand people sometimes.

I’ll get back to you with the “Lemon Poppyseed Pound
Cake/Loaf” recipe. Ginger has asked me
for my “Butter Tarts” recipe and as you can see from my postings the message is
ginormous and I’m worried about these long recipes taking over your guestbooks. Rest assured I will share these tasty
recipes.

Enjoy your and set aside some quiet time to relax and
unwind.

Bye for now! Ciao
Bella!
