I was thinking about you today and wondering how your family
reunion was going. I hope that you’re
feeling better and did not over extend yourself? Your mama must have been so happy to see
you. It’s nice to spend quality time
with our loved ones. Special memories
stay with us long after we part. When is
everyone leaving? Did you manage to get
a few days off?

Let me know if the doggy biscuits were a big hit. I’ve got this great recipe for a “Lemon
Poppyseed Pound Cake/Loaf” if you’re interested. I’ve offered it to Ginger too. It’s one of my signature recipes that everyone
is always asking me to make. It’s very
refreshing and would be a treat for your family to enjoy with coffee or
tea.

That Maine Coon Cat that I mentioned dropped by again last
night. My husband was outside with our
Husky when she spotted the cat that we’ve named Gypsy. Thankfully my husband quickly grabbed her
collar because who knows how she would have reacted. My dog is very gentle but she is a Husky
after all and I would hate for her to try and harm the cat. I’m frustrated about this new development. The only way I can feel truly at ease is if
we place a muzzle on my dog when she goes out into the yard. I don’t want her to attempt to play with the
cat and harm it accidently. All I need
is to get sued for damages and have my dog put to sleep. It’s a shame that you can no longer leave
your dog in your yard because there are so many cats roaming about. I wish that these cats would get the hint and
stay away from dogs. Life with pets can
be challenging at times. I’ll just have
to keep my eyes peeled. No sign of him
tonight so maybe he realized that were a friendly animal loving family but that
our dog might not be so inclined to pet him.

I better get going. I’ll
drop by tomorrow! Ciao Bella!

I too believe in guardians angels because I could have been seriously
injured more than once and some higher force was there to spare me every
time. One such incident was so
terrifying that I’ve never been able to forget it but will always think fondly
of the German Shepherd who saved our lives.
I don’t know what would have happened if he had not been there at that
exact moment. Timing is everything in
life and I’m living proof of that.

Hang in there and take breaks here in there. A few yoga stretches might do you some good
or a warm bath when you’re all done. A
soothing cup of tea would do wonders as well.

I wanted to share the “Bacon Dog Biscuits” that I make for my
Husky. She loves them and your Molly
might enjoy them as well.

Take care and keep smiling! Ciao
Bella!

Bacon Dog Biscuits

2 cup flour

1/2 cup large flake oats

1 egg

2 tsp. beef or chicken bouillon

1 cup hot water

Bacon bits

Set the oven to 350 degrees. Dissolve
bouillon in hot water and let stand till cool.
Mix ingredients together adding the bouillon/water mixture. Knead dough to form a ball. Roll out to ½ inch thick and cut with a dog
bone cookie cutter or your smallest biscuit cutter. Spray baking sheet with Pam
and set the cookies on the sheet. Cook
for 30 minutes. The cookies will be hard
and should be stored in your refrigerator.

Enjoy sweet Molly!

Good morning Christine,

You’re so lucky that nothing serious happened. Someone must have been watching out for
you. How exciting that your family is
coming over for a visit. Those moments
are so special. Now don’t overdo it
today; I’m certain that your house is very presentable. As pet owners we know from firsthand
experience that no matter how much you clean; that there will always be pet
hair. I find pet hair in the strangest
of places. LOL! Cats in particular are such snoops that you
never know where they’ve been in your house.
Are your cats indoor or outdoor cats?
My girl is terrified of going outside and I’m very happy about that
especially with the male Maine Coon Cat hanging around. She’s fixed but I wouldn’t want any cat
fights.

Are your family members staying for a few days? Will you be able to take off from work to be
with them? Some girl time is just what
you need. Shopping is so much fun and it’s
so easy to go overboard.

I’ve got some cleaning to do as well so I’ll chat with you
later.

Ciao Bella!

I’ve never heard that children only come in human form. You’re a mama many times over and your babies
adore you. You have a generous Leo heart
and I can see that in the way that you help others here. A woman’s instinct to dote on stretches
beyond her family. It’s an awe inspiring
gift that we all have to various degrees.
ChickAdvisor is the perfect environment for women to support each other
and let our nurturing ability guide others.
I’m very happy to have discovered this place and feel lucky to have met
kind-hearted ladies such as yourself. Never
change who you are because the world is a better place with people like you in
it. Think of the difference you’ve made
in your friends’ lives and the lives of these animals who willingly came to you
because they knew you were a kindred spirit.
It’s an honour and a joy to be chosen by these sweet souls. I think that you’re an “Animal Pied Piper”
like my husband. Animals will be your
companions for a long time to come.

Don’t work too hard and drive safely! Take care and keep smiling! Ciao Bella!

Pets are like children; you love them unconditionally. It’s a warm feeling to be loved and
appreciated for who we are. We don’t
have to impress them or be famous; we just have to love them and care for
them. They have their own unique personality
that is so adorable. Life would indeed
be dull without their sweet faces to greet us.
When I spot a puppy I can’t help but exclaim “Look at the cute baby!” They are sweet cuddly babies to me. Whenever I see a dog I always compliment the
owner and ask if I can pet their dog.
They are all unique and special in my eyes. I certainly appreciate it when someone
compliments me on my dog. It brings
total strangers instantly together. I
wanted to share with you my favourite “Husky” website. You can’t help but fall in love with these
cuties. I have just as much fun shopping
for their toys and treats to add to their stockings as I do for my kids and
husband. It’s sweet of you to help out
your friends; I hope that they will be back on their feet soon. What a stressful time for them; it’s a good
thing that they have a supportive friend like you to lend a helping hand.

Your photos are priceless; you can feel the love and family
pride. You are a lucky lady Christine to
be surrounded by a strong family unit.

Have an awesome weekend!

Ciao Bella!
