Since my experience with the Original Whole Food Energy Bar was more than pleasant, I was having really high hopes in having the same if not better result with this energy bar. My preconceived notions were positively right and then some. I really loved this bar and it kept me wanting more. I think it was the fact that it contained deliciously decadent bits of chocolate. I have to admit, if I were to have to choose between energy bars, my choice would be the Coconut Chocolate Whole Food Energy Bar simply for that fact alone.
Ingredients: molasses, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, brown rice syrup, ground almonds, amaranth flour, dark chocolate (organic evaporated cane juice, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, ground vanilla beans), coconut, chia seeds, baking soda
Not for those with soy and almond allergies.
Shelf Life: frozen 6 months, refrigerated 3 months, room temperature 3 months

I am really not into the whole energy bar thing. Every one I have tried, I haven't liked. There is just something about them that makes my taste buds contract and yell out to me "Noooooo!" They always leave an odd taste in my mouth that I never seem to be able to get rid of. My stomach really doesn't care for them either. I get that aftertaste in the form of a burp, which I think is my stomachs way of saying "Take that!" and getting back at me. -lol-
I was actually cringing while opening the wrapper. I could feel my stomach curdle in hesitation. I had a Chocolate Almond Biscotti and a glass of milk at the ready so I could rid my taste buds of any distasteful flavour and appease my stomach. Lord knows I do not want those nasty "puke burps" coming back at me.
I sit here staring at this bar. Sniffing it to see if it has an odd scent. Glancing over the packaging, reading the ingredients. Molasses - ewwwww! Not a fan usually and Amaranth flour? What praytell is Amaranth flour? Okay, I admit I had to Google. I'm not an encyclopedia, yanno -lol- According to Livestrong.com: Amaranth flour is derived from the seeds of the amaranth plant. This type of flour is typically seen in health food stores, but some regular food stores carry it as well. It has grown in popularity because it is gluten-free, and many individuals who cannot have gluten cook with this type of flour for its health benefits. Okay, so it's good for me, I guess, not a good sign. -lol- Good for you usually = bad tasting! In my opinion anyhow, especially when it comes to energy bars!!
The moment of truth - I slowly take a bite. A tiny one at first. The bar is soft, sticky and chewy. I find myself able to keep chewing making sure that every taste within rolls across my taste buds. I take another bite, a bigger one this time. I am rather pleased. It actually tastes good!!! There is a hint of molasses flavour but it is bearable, in my opinion. -lol- I am truly impressed and that is saying a lot - for me anyhow. I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to experience a great tasting energy bar - until now!! I guess I didn't need my back up plan after all. -lol-

This cookie is vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, kosher pareve and baked in a dairy, egg, wheat and gluten free facility.
It keeps on getting better. I was totally expecting a very dry and bland tasting cookie. I also was expecting that my mouth would become pasty and want to reach for something to drink - stat! The one thing I was really expecting was for the cookie to be as hard as a rock and that I would be unable to even bite through it. All these things I was expecting were blown away by the great taste, melt in my mouth texture and mouth watering flavour.
The cookie crumbled apart in my mouth and melted with each bite. The burst of the chocolate lingered well after I was done eating it. I was totally blown away.
Ingredients: Gluten-free flour blend (whole grain brown rice flour, organic coconut flour, potato starch, tapioca starch), almonds, organic evaporated cane juice, sunflower oil, cocoa, dairy-free chocolate (organic evaporated cane juice, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, ground vanilla beans), organic flax seeds, non-alum baking powder, xanthan gum, sea salt.
Not for those with allergies to soy and almonds.

This cookie is vegan, nut-free, dairy-free, egg-free and kosher pareve Pas Yisroel and is baked in a dairy, egg, sesame, peanut and nut free facility.
I am a huge S'mores fan so I secretly was having very high hopes on how this product would taste. That said, being a vegan product, I was reserved. I was surprised at just how good this cookie tasted. I was expecting a dry, bland and perhaps a lingering funny taste. That was not the case at all. The cookie seemed like it was fresh from the oven. It was soft and moist and very chocolaty tasting with absolutely no funny aftertaste. I like to write my thoughts about food as I am trying it. I finished the cookie before I finished the paragraph. I guess I liked it a lot. -lol- I couldn't get enough of it.

I have not used bar soap in a very long time. Other than a homemade soap about a year ago, I pretty much steer clear from bar soaps altogether. I have found, in the past, that they tend to dry my skin out, make my skin uncomfortably tight and not to mention itchy. As a result, I have used nothing but liquid body washes and soaps.
Having such negative responses in regards to soap and my skin in the past, I was excited and hesitant at the same time in trying this soap. I have used it multiple times for a one week period and let me tell you that I was shocked at the result.
Dial Canada's Advanced Bar Soap with Lather Pockets is excellent. It produces a great lather and gently cleans my skin. I was so surprised that my skin did not tighten at all after getting out of the shower and drying off. My skin did not get that chalky white colour to it where I could wet my skin and it would change colour. I didn't have to grab the tube of moisturizer and butter my skin up like a Thanksgiving Turkey to hydrate my skin afterwards. My skin felt so soft, smooth and hydrated which I attribute to the Aloe and Vitamin E in the bar.
I am also all about scent!! If it doesn't have a nice aroma to it, chances are I am not going to use it. I cannot tell you how much this bar smells absolutely great!!! Maybe someday they will come out with a virtual scratch n sniff, but, until that day comes, you'll just have to take my word for it. The scent is wonderful but not overbearing, to me anyhow.
Surprisingly, I didn't drop the soap!!! We all have been there, I think, at least I know I have and we all know that soap is slippery when wet. The shape of the soap fits so well into the palm of your hand which makes it easier to handle and keep a grip on it.
My opinion on bar soap has been changed after using the NEW Advanced Bar Soap with Lather Pockets. It is definitely a product that I would purchase and use again in the future.

I used this product for two weeks in conjunction with the Simple Micellar Cleaning Water. Once in the morning and in the evening I would apply the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. I liked how easy it was to apply. Compared to some other moisturizers, I didn't have to rub it on my skin for what seemed to be an eternity. The moisturizer, to me, seemed to have a very light scent. It is somewhat of a thin consistency, definitely water based and non greasy. For me, it seemed to take a little bit to dry but not a significant amount of time (between 30 seconds to 1 min). After using the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer my skin definitely felt soft, smooth and hydrated. I would likely purchase this product and I will be telling my friends who have sensitive skin all about it. -

I tried this product for two weeks. I liked how gentle it was on my skin and left no irritation or red patches. It definitely left my skin replenished and hydrated. No sticky residue was a bonus. Like the Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes, I found that the Cleansing Water did have a difficult time removing mascara. It took a few applications to remove all of it. I really liked that I didn't have to rinse my face after using the product and that the solution dried rather quickly. I have a few friends that have extremely sensitive skin and will be telling them about this product. I'm sure they would love to try it. -

I had used this product for two weeks, almost daily. Not only did I use it to remove make up but I also used it to quickly cleanse my face of gritty dirt while spring cleaning outdoors. I like how there is no scent or dyes, does not feel sticky and left my skin refreshed. I did find that while the wipes do remove a lot of make up, it did take a bit to remove mascara. That said, I have found that a lot of make up removal wipes I have used in the past take a bit to remove mascara. All in all, I did like this product and would recommend it. -

The lotion is not thick and has a light consistency which I loved as well. It is very easy to work with. I found it absorbed into the skin quickly and left my skin nice and soft. I found that when I became hot and begun to sweat in the sun, my face didn't feel like it was greasy or caked with cream as a lot of lotions have done to me in the past. I received the Clarisonic Mia 2 as part of the Chick Advisor promotional initiative. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE the Mia 2. It's compact so it fits right perfectly into my hand. The brush is so soft on my skin, it glides across my face almost effortlessly. After a day of piling wood and cleaning the barn my skin felt and looked like leather, was so gritty and dirty. I came inside when the chores were done and used the Mia 2. My skin has NEVER felt so clean and refreshed ever. Radiant is one word that I would have never used to describe my skin or complexion but it is now. I have even noticed that I get less blemishes now. I will definitely be using the Mia 2 religiously from now on!! -
