There was great controversy when Heinz pulled out of Canada, leaving a lot of people out of work. I am not a big fan of that, but I do like the taste. I was recently diagnosed with food intolerances and have been being more careful about reading labels. I was disappointed to read that Heinz ketchup is made with fructose, instead of (or in addition to) sugar. I don't like the idea of gmo corn being used in everyday products, like ketchup. Other brands (e.g. French's) are able to avoid its use, which I prefer. Heinz is also more expensive than most ketchups and though it is definitely better tasting than most store brands, it is about the same as some of the other brands. It tastes fine, so I didn't give it a thumbs down, but for me, I will make other choices, except when at restaurants because most still buy from Heinz. -

This product was okay. I feel that they try really hard to appeal to children, with the characters on the label, small sizes and bright colours. I expected it to have more of a yogurt taste and texture, but it was sweeter than yogurt and more like a mousse like consistency, likely because of the cheese. It tasted okay, but nothing I would crave. They are more expensive than other yogurts and not quite as good, in my opinion. They are not made with organic fruit or dairy and they contain quite a large amount of sugar. I likely won't buy again. -

The Compliments brand spring water is comparable to other brands of spring water. Like other brands, it is collected and bottled in Ontario, not too far from where Nestle is. I think it tastes better than brands like Dasani because I think it tastes purer. The price is pretty good, usually around $2 for 24 bottles, but other brands are also that price, which is why I only gave 4 stars not 5 for value. It is still an awesome price, though. You can buy the product in different sizes of bottles as well, which is convenient. This brand isn't as easy to find as some as it is only available at Sobeys and Food Basics, but since I shop there frequently, I have no trouble finding it. I would definitely buy again. -

Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo is my usual brand of shampoo. I like the quality of the product for the relative low price and the fact that it can be found almost everywhere. I like the smell of the product and it makes my hair continue to smell nice. In fact, people have commented on how nice my hair smells. I am not sure if it offers awesome volume, but I really like it. The pump is convenient and it is great to get a larger amount of shampoo in one purchase, but I find that the pump stops working when there is still quite a bit of product left, which requires me to take the lid off and dump the shampoo into my hand, which is okay, but defeats the purpose of the pump. Overall, it is a good product that I would recommend. -

Crest cinnamon toothpaste has been my favourite brand for years. There are other brands that offer cinnamon toothpaste, but there is just something about the flavour that isn't as appealing. Crest's cinnamon is bold without being overpowering and it makes brushing my teeth a treat. The whitening ability is comparable to other brands and flavours. They have changed different aspects of the product (e.g. removed the whitening flecks), but the amazing flavour remains the same. The only drawback is that it is hard to find in Canada as I believe it has been discontinued here. It is sold in the US and I have stocked up. I highly recommend this product to anyone who likes the taste of cinnamon hearts. -
