I recently had the opportunity to try out the @armanibeauty Prisma Glass Lip Gloss courtesy of @thisisbutterly. Admittedly, I was a little bummed to get the Clear gloss, when there were so many beautiful colors but this allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and try a true no-makeup look, but could easily be layered over lip sticks/stains/pencils to add a dose of shine to your fave lip looks. I did find the applicator a little on the smaller side, so you do sort of need to add more coats if you want a lot of shine. But overall, the gloss was lightweight, felt moisturizing, but didn’t feel sticky or tacky at all. It unfortunately didn’t last a very long time as a gloss, but my lips did feel moisturized even after it was gone. I also appreciated that it had no scent/taste.

I used this product in conjunction with other PanOxyl skincare products to get the full experience. This moisturizer was fine, but honestly just not my favorite. Firstly, I didn’t care for the scent. I also found it kind of sticky and just didn’t love sleeping with it on my skin. Overall, it didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my skin, and instead just sitting like a mask on my face. In the mornings, when I got in the shower, I had to like rinse it off which was just odd. Lastly, despite it being the only part of the skincare routine that did NOT contain active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, after putting it on following the clarifying exfoliant, I had light stinging. It was not painful or causing any further irritation so I dealt with it since it faded quickly but it was also odd. Overall, worked fine but just not my preference.

I used this product in conjunction with the rest of the PanOxyl skincare lineup and really enjoyed the results. I’ve always found Salicylic Acid based products to be super effective for clearing my skin and for anti-aging. It was easy to use: simply swipe over your cleaned skin with a cotton round. I also liked that it helped to remove any last traces of dirt, oil and makeup left on my skin. My only complaint was that a few days after I started using it, I was finding that throughout the day my skin started to smell absolutely terrible, I only noticed if I got oily throughout the day and wiped my face, particularly in my t-zone and around my nose. I’m not sure how best to describe the scent other than it smelled a little fishy. To my knowledge, it wasn’t noticeable to others but I could smell it on hand if I wiped my face around my nose. I did find that when I stopped using the product, the smell went away. So I would suggest using the product every few days to keep the scent at bay if you experience the same results.

First off, I am glad I read the instructions as I would not have thought to leave the product on for a while to allow it sufficient time to do its thing. I know some people dislike the bleach smell the product has, but it has never bothered me; nor have I had issues with it it bleaching clothes or towels but it you do, I would suggest rinsing it off in the shower. The product can be a little drying so I suggest using it every 2nd or third day instead of daily. For the sake of reviewing the product, I used it 4 nights in a row to see its effectiveness and that was the absolute max for me before my skin was too dry. But by Day 2 I was already seeing some mild purging, which was great and I was excited as I knew it meant the product was doing its thing and cleaning out my pores. I’m fortunate that my skin was in pretty good shape to begin with and the purging cleared up very quickly. I think this product will be a good new addition to my skincare routine and will be using it every 2 or 3 days to help keep my skin in check !

So, not sure if u got a dud product or what but this product was an immediate no for me, which was disappointing since I wanted to try the full line of Panoxyl products. However this moisturizer was so gritty, as soon as I put it on my skin, I felt like I using a very harsh physical exfoliant as and it hurt so badly when I rubbed it into my skin. There was absolutely no way I could continue putting it on & I had to immediately wash it off. So I’m not sure if I got a bad product or if that’s how it’s supposed to be, but I couldn’t even try this out properly to give it an honest review. I was disappointed as I had been looking for a new daytime moisturizer and even better that this one had SPF and would have loved an oil-control product as we head into hot, Summer weather, but sadly it did not work for me.

I was slightly disappointed that we weren’t in the throes of dry, Alberta winter weather and an eczema flare up to fully give this product a real go, so unfortunately/fortunately I was only able to try it out in my very, dry, cracked skin. I don’t usually like the “smell” of fragrance-free products but this was really free of any scent at all, which was better than most unscented products. First thought is that it was very light-weight so I wasn’t expecting much. I didn’t have an active eczema flare up so I used it on my dry, cracked hands, feet and elbows and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. In winter, my feet get so dry that I usually wake up in the middle of the night (often more than once) to put lotion on them. With this, I put it on before bed and it kept them sufficiently moisturized that I didn’t wake once! My hands and elbows also stopped being so dry and cracked that they were no longer painful and that’s saying a lot- especially during allergy season where I am washing my hands a ton! I loved that it was not sticky/greasy feeling and absorbed in right away. Usually I have to use heavy duty moisturizers to treat my driest areas and then can’t do anything until the product absorbs completely or I can’t stand the tacky texture left on my skin. While I am tempted to save this product until my next eczema flare up, it works so well, I know I will definitely have to re-buy by the time that rolls around. This was a very surprising WIN product for me!!!

DAP has long been a staple brand in my DIY repertoire. This product was easy to use and got me through re-caulking the baseboards and casings during my bathroom refresh in less than 15 minutes. Though the house is now 14 years old and some of the baseboards are due for a replacement, refreshing the cracked caulking was an easy fix to tide me over until the time comes for a complete overhaul. It dries quickly which means no waiting to move on to the next step in my projects. The bright white color also helps freshen everything up. With a big birthday coming up, I’ve been embracing the anti-aging products lately and am a new Retinol convert and was excited to try this. I was pleased to see the push down applicator that was not only hygienic but also released the perfect amount of product. It went on nicely and absorbed very quickly, it was also sufficient on its own, which I often worry about in moisturizers that are also treatment products. It wore nicely overnight and I didn’t have any reaction and loved how my skin looked while using it. I felt fresh and my skin looked clear and healthy. Very impressed! It’s also available @walmartcanada so I don’t have to go out of my way to pick it up! -

I am not sure if I used it too frequently or if I was too much for my skin but I got very dry while using. While the price point is reasonable and the product is conveniently available @walmartcanada, this one just wasn’t for me. -

My first impression of this product was that it smelled very nice for a foundation, which was a nice surprise as if I am going to have something on my face all day, I want it to smell nice. I originally selected a shade that was far too dark for me, but I enjoyed the formula so I went out and purchased the right shade so I could properly review. I found the product blended nicely, bearing in mind that as a long wearing formula, they are generally drier than moisturizing ones so you do have to work quicker. The product wore nicely without any breakup around my oilier areas like nose and chin, and didn’t oxidize at all on me. It was staying on til I removed it at the end of the day, which is fantastic as I am often wearing my makeup off. The price point is great and having it available @walmartcanada means I can grab it conveniently with my groceries. -
