MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Russian Red
I had moral qualms about buying $15 lipstick, but this is one of the best that I've ever bought. It has a classic hollywood look about it, it rarely bleeds, and doesn't smear while eating. Well worth it's money.

Revlon Matte Really Red
Considering I started lipstick on a regular basis as of late, I was glad when I saw matte lipstick at the drug store as opposed to a $15 stick at MAC. This serves it's purpose, requiring at least 3 coats and not smearing off incredibly easily... +

This serves it's purpose, requiring at least 3 coats and not smearing off incredibly easily. It has a small hint of a shine, but that's not much of a complaint considering where I got it from. If you're looking for cheap matte lipstick, go for this. -

Had to apply several coats to really make my lashes stand out. While it increased the volume at the base, it didn't really do much for the ends of my lashes. It also seemed to dry out too quickly.

Not very sure about the curl, but it's really irrelevant because your lashes will be so noticeable that people comment about them. If paired with a two-step system (such as a white base), the effectiveness goes up dramatically. -
