I love stopping in at Sephora when I go shopping, even if it's just to browse around and check out new releases. The store is always immaculately clean and well-organized by brand/product type. The staff members are always attentive and able to give great recommendations, samples of products you're interested in, and free mini makeovers. -

I found this set for a STEAL at Winners last year: $25! It includes 3 small carboard palettes, including eyeshadows as well as a blush, bronzer, and highlight. It also has a mini size of the BTS mascara, which I found out I really love!! The palettes aren't quite up to the standard of Too Faced's permanent palettes, like the Chocolate Bar, but they're still good. I like that they are designed to be split up and given to your friends as Christmas gifts. Of course, I had to keep all of them for myself, though! ;) -

I bought my Modern Ren palette over a year ago and I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would. At the time, there weren't as many warm/red palettes available, but now the market is oversaturated with them so you can find similar palettes for a fraction of the cost of this one (for example, the Rose in the Air palette from Wet n Wild, $5). The shadows make a huge mess when you dip your brush into them and you have to tap your brush off a LOT before putting it to your eye because of how powdery it is. You get a lot of fallout on your cheeks, too. I also really don't like the packaging; it's a velvety texture that gets dirty really easily. All that being said, I really like the colour story of this palette and you can get lots of pretty and versatile looks out of it, from natural to glam. -

I wanted to stop drinking dark-coloured sodas (like Coke/root beer) to prevent my teeth from getting more stained. Canada Dry makes my favourite ginger ale, and their diet version is no exception! In fact, I can't even taste the difference between the two, so I now exclusively buy the diet version so I can cut back on those empty calories. This drink is very tasty and refreshing, perfect for summer. -

This is my second favourite nail polish formula, only behind Essie. My favourite shade in this line is Lacy Lilac; a beautiful pale lavender. It doesn't chip easily and the brush is wide som you can apply on the whole nail in one swipe. Just be aware that you need 2 to 3 coats for full opacity. -

This always seems to be on sale at my local drugstore when I am in need of floss, so I usually end up buying it. I like the mint flavour; I find it nice and refreshing. The floss is slightly thick and waxy so you can get a good grip on it and it's strong enough to pull out food pieces stuck between teeth. I recommend getting the 2-piece value pack if it is available! -

I experience really bad tooth sensitivity, and was recommended Sensodyne by my dental hygienist. Now it is the only toothpaste I use. I like the subtle minty flavour, and I do think my sensitivity has slightly diminished over time. However, it's not a miracle product, so my teeth are still pretty stained and sensitive to cold/hot foods :( -

I swore by this product when I was a high-level competitive Irish dancer. I would get chronic knee pain from stomping the floor and a fellow classmate recommended I try this to alleviate the discomfort. It works pretty well, although I found that it takes a bit of time for it to actually take effect. It numbs the pain and tingles a bit on your skin. I think it would be great for anyone who is physically active but experiences pain from repetitive movement. -

I had a free sample of this product sent to me in the mail recently. I think it's pretty good, but nothing special (most clay masks seem to do the exact same thing, in my experience). The container had just enough for one heavy application on the face. It took longer to completely dry down than it advertised on the package. When I looked in the mirror, I could see the spots on my face (my cheeks, nose, and chin, mostly) where the clay had absorbed the oil in my pores and cleaned them out. It's one of those weirdly satisfying things, lol! It's pretty messy to remove this product. The clay is thick, so it takes quite a bit of water/scrubbing to get it off completely, and it makes a cakey mess in the sink. After the redness from rubbing my face died down, my skin was left feeling soft and smooth. If you can find this one for a good deal, don't hesitate to snatch it up. Otherwise, there are tons of equivalent products on the market. -
