I've used three of these now - my mom's from the early 80s, one I bought in the UK about 10 years ago and now back in the US, the one my brother gave me (as he has Mom's old one!) I love it for when I'm making butter or sauerkraut, these things...   +

I love it for when I'm making butter or sauerkraut, these things which take a lot of beating...

My only gripe with the current models is that the change in bowl shape makes it harder to get perfect mixing at the bottom.    -
