I received a sample of this moisturizer to test. It's a nice light moisturizer. Absorbs quickly, leaves skin feeling very soft and smooth. Would be a good option for summer as it is not greasy and includes sunblock. Effectiveness in winter is only average as it is quite light and as a result I found myself re-applying partway through the day as it was very dry and cold when I was testing it. -

Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit and nut bars are delicious, nutty chocolatey snack. The chocolate is a nice dark chocolate that isn't bitter but has a strong deep chocolate flavour that offsets the sweetness of the dried fruit. The crunch from nuts and seeds makes this the perfect blend. It's a very satisfying snack that coves several cravings (something sweet, crunchy and chocolate!). The only downside is that it is quite high in sugar. Of the three flavours I tried the cherry and dark chocolate were my favourite but blueberry acai and cranberry blackberry were also very tasty. I'll definitely be buying more of these to store in my desk and purse as a quick snack. -

While this workout might be effective if you did it, the lack of commentary renders it nearly impossible to follow.
The video starts with an intro where Tracy talks bout the motivation behind it and then simply jumps into the workout, no warning. The first time through, I thought it was part of the intro but about 15 seconds into it realized it wasn't just a bridge between the intro and the start of the workout, the workout had begun. What follows is the warm up coupled with music. no commentary or instruction is included. I got through about 5 minutes before I got so frustrated I turned it off. I was constantly a few steps behind and spent more energy trying to figure out what I was doing than actually doing it. The best part is when she starts doing moves that are impossible to do while watching television(i.e. bent over head down) still without commentary. But if you don't watch you'd spend the whole 30 minutes doing that move as she never tells you want to do next. If you have the patience(and time) to watch the video all the way through a few times and memorize all the moves in advance, it's probably a pretty good workout. if not, pick a different workout.

I find with the Revlon Colour Burst balm, I get the matte colour I like yet my lips don't feel dried out. I'm excited to try more of the colours. -

I recieved a sample of Shiseido softener and was sckeptical about it. At first I wasnt even fully sure what to do with a softener. Is it a toner? a serum? cleaner? google to the rescue, it's a toner replacement but acts more like a serum (or pre-serum). whatever it is, it is wonderful. Applied instead of toner it clears out any residual stuff left by your cleanser but leaves skin feeling smooth and soft (not tight and dry like many toners). After a few days I noticed my skin seemed brighter. Also after using it moisturizer seems to absorb better so maybe it's slightly exfoliating. It's definitely balancing and making my skin look great. I highly reccomend this product. -

Stila's prime pot is a fantastic concealer. It completely covers up my under eye circles and provides a good base for eyeshadow even in the super hot humid summer we've been having!

The Fresh Umbrian Clay treatment bar is a fantastic mask. It seems a bit pricey for the size but lasts forever as you only end up using a tiny bit at a time. I've found it extremely effective and it leaves my skin feeling soft and looking great.

The scent is nice and it got rid of greasiness at my roots but afterwards when i ran my hand through my hair it felt like i'd spent tiem rolling in the sand as there was a gritty sand like residue all over my scalp.

I've tried several dry shampoos and Batiste original is by far the best one.
The coverage is lightbut effective and I like the slightly citrusy scent. It doesnt leave a gritty feeling in my hair as some other dry shampoos do. It works quickly and doesnt require any drying time although if you wait a few seconds after spraying it does work better.
If you have dark hair it can leave a bit of a white residue on your roots but I find if you flip your head down and rub your fingers thrugh your roots it should dissipate, a quick shot of air from your hair dryer will aslo get rid of any excess powder that might be leving a residue.
I did try the tinted version thinking it would eliminate the residue problem but the brown tinted version is actually much worse for this as it leaves a funny brown residue in your hair. it actually stained my brush and was kind of gross. so I'd stick with the regular old original version in the green can. I havent tried the tropical version yet but recently bought a can because the scent is quite nice with a hint of mango and citrus.
