The thing I love the most is that it makes my hair smell like cupcakes. Who wouldn't love that?!
It's pretty easy to use, just shake in the way you would any other powder shampoo. I typically sprinkle a bit down my centre part and then apply similarly to spearated sections of my hair at the roots. After sprinkling, I run my hands through my hair to help distribute it, and then flip my head upside down and give a quick blow-dry to get rid of any spots where there might be a bit too much powder. I find that the powder can end up hanging out around the edges of where my hairline stops, so sometimes I take a damp washcloth and blot these areas. You might end up with the powder underneath your nails if you're like me and play with your hair during the day, but it's asy enough the just rinse off and isn't going to do any harm. I use the one made for lighter-hues, and recently picked up the darker hues for a friend of mine. Also, every so often they will release a package deal where you get a little travel/purse sized version with the full size, for the same price as just the full size. I've found these package deals at both Murale ane Sephora. If you do put it in a suitcase or purse though, I recommend sticking it in a ziploc bag, as little bits of powder can sneak out easily, even when you've closed the lid.
Overall, a fantastic product that I continue to use up the whole shaker and purchase again. Great for days you just don't have time to wash your hair and want to soak up that excess oil.
Also, a good quick fix on those hot days to give your skin some moisture absorbtion and a tasty scent.

I bought this in prep for a 6 week trip to SE Asia, in an attempt to save space in my backpack and not have to worry about a leaky bottle. The smell is great, and it lathers really well. It also lasts! The solid jungle conditioner I bought with it ran out a week before the end of my trip, but I still had at least half of this bar left. The only downside is that it doesn't do much for detangling (I have fine, straight hair) and if you're not careful with your rinse, you'll end up with little green chunks in your hair (you can see them in the bar). Didn't do much as far as adding any volume, but kept my hair clean and smelling nice. I also ended up with a small rash on the back of my head (underneath my hair) after using this product, but I can't say for sure that it was because of this or the conditioner I was using, or just a skin reaction to the climate. Overall, a great product for travel, but I won't trade my usual liquid shampoo when I'm at home for this bar. -

I bought this along with a solid shampoo at LUSH for an upcoming trip, as I hate having to haul around little bottles of shampoo and conditioner that take up space and often end up leaking all over my stuff when I'm packing and unpacking every few days. The shampoo was great, but the conditioner left a lot to be desired. First of all, it's tricky to use. You have to get your hands and the conditioner really wet and then break off chunks of it and massage them in your hand until they are soft enough to spread throughout. This takes a lot more time and effort than conditioning your hair ever should. Next, trying to work the paste through your hair is tricky, as a little does not go a long way. I have pretty fine, straight hair and it was a challenge trying to get this stuff through my hair. Also, I ran out of it a week before my trip ended, which was a bummer, because it starts out bigger than the shampoo bar and I still had half of the shampoo bar left by the time the conditioner ran out. I ended up borrowing my boyfriends liquid conditioner for the last week of the trip, which took half the time to apply and rinse out. This stuff is NOT worth the time and effort it takes to get through your hair...and it never left my hair feeling silky soft the way most conditioners do. Works better as a "shave gel" than an actual conditioner. -

Mmmm, sooo good! I actually found out about this stuff from my boyfriend. I dragged him into LUSH one day because I wanted to buy a solid shampoo and conditioner for our upcoming trip to SE Asia. He ended up buying some of this lip balm because his lips were feeling extra dry that day and I only had coloured lip balm with me. Everytime I was with him, I found myself stealing this lip balm, but he was sure that I didn't take the little tin home with me. I finally ended up buying one of my own. I tried a few of the other flavours/scents and this one was by far the most enjoyable. The perfect combination of sweet, smooth and pleasant smelling. And the fact that it's made by LUSH lets me know its quality and not tested on animals :) -

I first heard about this stuff on a demo for the "perfect red lips", and I had to try it. It works great as a liner for any lipstick, as it goes on clear. It's a bit strange to get used to lining with it outside my lips as opposed to drawing a natural lipline, but once you've done it a few times it comes pretty naturally. I typically use it when I'm sporting a bold colour, like red or a deep pink. The only place this thing loses points is that you can't see when you're about to run out, and it's easy to snap off a chunk if you use too much pressure (not a problem with pencils that you sharpen). Also, don't leave this in your hot car unless you want to melt off the tip of the liner. The price is kind of high if you're used to buying basic pencil liners, but totally worth it as you don't have to buy a bunch of them to coordinate with different lip colours. -

I absolutely LOVE this mascara. I used to buy cheap drugstore mascara and found that half way through the day the stuff had flaked off and smudged under my eyes, making me look tired and terrible- not good. About 6 years ago I was introduced to Clinique's High Impact Mascara and I have yet to find a better product for my lashes (and yes, I've tried others in that time, and end up giving up on them after one or two uses). My lashes are naturally long, but very fair in colour, so this mascara really makes them pop! I've even had strangers ask me what kind of mascara I wear- seriously! One girl at the hardware store commented how perfect my lashes looked, and sometimes people ask if I'm wearing fake lashes. This is one make-up essential that I am never without. I always buy it in 01 Black, but there are a few other shades available. The price seems a bit high if you're used to buying $5 drugstore mascara, but once you realize what a difference it makes, it's totally worth the extra few dollars. It's not waterproof, but I much prefer it to the waterproof mascara that Clinique makes, even living in rainy Vancouver. There's a reason this mascara often makes it into the "gift with purchase" that Clinique offers: they know it's great and will sell itself once you try it. If you want to draw attention to your eyes and make them pop, without having to wear falsies or get eyelash extensions, THIS is the mascara for you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! -

When I lived in a dry climate, I absolutely LOVED this product. I recently moved to a humid climate and I am finding it is not working anymore, which makes me so sad because it was the first thing I found that didn't leave white marks on me or my clothing, didn't stain my pale coloured shirts yellow, didn't irritate my skin (even after shaving) and effectively kept me dry and fresh all day. That being said, out here in a humid climate I can apply it 4 times a day and still feel sweaty and smelly. I was using public transit the other day and could smell some BO, when I got home I relized it was me. How AWFUL and EMBARASSING!
So, if you are in a dry climate, full marks.
In a humid environment...try something else...I know I will be.
