The compact tube of BB cream conceals and hydrates for a beautifully brightening effect and smells like a fresh bouquet of flowers. The self-adjusting shade works on all skin types and I even felt a little bit of a tightening effect that gave me that extra pep I needed. Plus, it has SPF 20. So, what else makes this an All-In-One product, you ask? Anti-aging peptide complex with Matrixyl 300 (firms), Eyeliss (de-puffs), Japanese Sea Kelp (replenishes collagen, brightens), Sea Fern Algae (addresses hyperpigmentation), and Saliporine-8 (hydration boosting plant extract). Exclusive to boscia, the blend of Jojoba Leaf and Willowherb fights free radical damage and reduces irritation. There are days when hydrating, correcting, concealing, and brightening under the eyes require extra effort. Thanks to boscia, all that plus sun protection happens with All-In-One. -

We’re always in the market for a new mascara. In fact, we’re always in the market for longer, fuller, lacquered lashes. And when longer, fuller, lacquered lashes come without clumps, smears, smudges, and flakes… well, we’ve found a product worth coveting. But the real formula test would be that evening when I returned home: would I look like a raccoon? Not entirely impossible considering my lashes were as long as spider legs and uber glossy black like Dita Von Teese’s patent leather stilettos. NOT A FLAKE. NOT A SMUDGE. NOT A SMEAR. I couldn’t believe it. I’m still in shock. How did Marc Jacobs make a formula so perfect that it elongates, volumizes, coats every lash in an incredibly seductive lacquer black… and it doesn’t budge — at all? Well, I don’t pretend to be a scientist but as a beauty obsessed who tests everything on myself first, I can say that they achieved the impossible — and I love it. In fact, the bristled brush that I hastily prejudged happens to be awesome at getting tight on the lash line and coating each tiny hair with a single wiggle of the wand. The only caveat: people will certainly suspect that you’re wearing falsies. And, let’s be honest, that’s more of a compliment than a problem. -

It really is a beautiful formula. It is so light on the skin and it gives a glow along with a soft focus pop of colour. They blend beautifully making them very easy to use. I absolutely love the way the colour of the packaging perfectly matches the blush shade inside. It’s such a lovely touch. I’d say I can get about eight hours of wear on my drier cheeks if I’m lucky but in most cases it was about seven due to the heat/Summer. -

The formula feels a little different to me than Naked 1, Naked 2, and Naked 3. The texture on the shadows is a little denser and not as velvety. I also felt the shades were thinner in consistency and considerably less metallic than the past Naked Palette range. Don’t be scared, this is all a good thing as I like this texture since it feels like the shades have a lot less fall out and aren’t as frosty on my eyes. As much as I love the Naked Palettes I find some of the shades are really heavy with a metallic finish that looks frosty on my eyes and lord knows frosty and I do not get along well. I like the thinner, lighter texture on these colors. No chunky glitter here either aside from Armor which did have a fair bit of silver glitter which had a tendency to fall all over my face. Aside from this color none of the other shades had fall out issues. I found the mattes silky but Smolder was a little patchy for me. All in all the shades were easy to apply, easy to blend, and had excellent pigmentation.
The Urban Decay Naked range is a much loved cult favorite but it was getting a little repetitive. The Urban Decay Naked Smoky breaths new life into the collection and gives us a way to get gorgeous smoky, sultry eye looks! This palette will become a must have for those who adore smoky eye looks. It’s an easy to use palette filled with gorgeous Urban Decay Eyeshadows and well worth a purchase when it launches because who doesn’t want to sport a smoky eye from time to time during an evening out?

I don’t particularly like the product. For one thing you’ll never get the longer use out of this you would a regular potted or loose powder. At best, with daily use, you’re looking at a month’s worth of powder. I’d say your average pan powder would last you six months to a year…so you see the expensive dilemma we have here. My other issue with the product is the fact it bursts out of the can as a really dark orange. That’s fine at first but if you’re applying it to closely you’ll notice it has a slight staining effect so you’re left with little subtle spots of orange here and there. Secondly, during application you’ll find it applies very unevenly. The best results would be applying it and using a bushier brush to blend it out. This isn’t a spray, boom, done! This is more a spray and take time out to blend it property otherwise your brows and lashes have a heavy layer of orange-y beige powder as does your forehead, cheeks, and chin. AS I mentioned above it is orange at first but fades to a lighter shade of orange-y beige which for the most part is transparent but I think if you’re super fair you might find that it creates casts a strange finish on your skin. Personally I felt it made me look a little orange-y….It is indeed a matte finish so beware if you have drier skin like mine as I felt like it clung to my patchier areas and if not blended correctly will likely emphasize pores. Dior Airflash Matte Touch Long Lasting Airy Powder is an interesting and innovative product but isn’t a practical or terribly friendly on your wallet. You’ll have more manageability with a simple face powder and sponge during application than you would armed with this powder mist and a brush. This mist has a learning curve and results that aren’t quite what I pictured….! Ideally I’d love it if it applied smooth and evenly but at the moment I’m misting on and having to blend out with a powder brush so it defeats the purpose of the uber cool packaging. I love the idea, I just don’t love the performance. Sorry Dior. -

I personally didn’t love this one but its gotten quite a good deal of rave reviews perhaps it’s just my skin at the moment is dry. The finish of the product was very unflattering and just seemed to make my dull skin even more dull. I felt like I had makeup on and looked like I had on it too which accounts for two major “do not wants” when it comes to my base products. Overall, Korres Wild Rose Mineral Foundation wasn’t a fav. I’m quite saddened as I’ve never had to give Korres a bad review before but this one simply wasn’t doing the trick. -

Now the fragrance is lovely but not what I expected. I expected something more original from Wen in all honesty but it’s just a rerun of Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime. I’d say it was a spot on dupe. The coconut is very subtle and the mix of tart lime gives the fragrance a little kick! I thought the linger in my hair a little weaker compared to past seasonals but it still left my hair smelling quite lovely! This is a thick conditioner that replaces shampoo and conditioner so you’ll be using it to not only to condition your hair but also to cleanse it. Simply wet your hair, work the cleansing conditioner through, and rinse! It leaves my drier, wavy hair soft, smooth, and tangle free. Not sure I’m incredibly impressed with the fragrance of Went Coconut Lime Verbena Cleansing Conditioner but I am happy with the formula! I don’t think it needs to be added to your must buy list but if you’re running low on your current Wen it’ll make a nice Summer replacement. -

The real reason it interested me was it aids in improving the translucency of skin. I combat dullness daily and this offers a way to get brighter skin while easing dullness. It’s supposed to reduce freckles and dark spots with Vitamin C when used daily but I’ve been using it for several weeks and haven’t notice any lightening of my dark spots. The pink purple-ish shade will work best on those with yellow under tones as it reverses the appearance of that yellow and lends skin more of a brighter finish. It also contains an SPF 30 to protect skin and protect it from future damage and aging. It has a super light feel so it really isn’t uncomfortable in the least for wear under foundation. I personally wouldn’t wear it with out foundation or BB Cream because the brightening effect is a bit pasty for use on its own. The brightening/whitening effect is only during wear and doesn’t actually whiten skin. Applying too much can create a white cast so be aware should you try it and use a little bit. -

Don’t worry, the bar of soap is glittery but it doesn’t transfer to your body! This big old chunk of pink soap smells exactly like a cold glass of fruit punch. It takes me back to my 5 year old self when that ungodly awesome hour came and everyone sat down for cookies and sugary fruit punch. I don’t have kids but at 5 years old if they had a teacher serving Hawaiian Punch along with cookies I’d have to send them to another school. What were we all crazy in the 80s!? Giving a five year old fruit punch and cookies? Forget nap time! We must have all been crawling up the walls as children! At least Fortune Cookie Soap Vivid Bar Soap is completely sugar-free! And you still get glitter and fruit punch, tell me what more could a girl want in the shower? This is a large bar of soap weighting in at 6 oz so it’ll last you for literally ages. I slice it up and take a piece into the shower! It lathers up nicely and leaves skin delicately scented after you bath! As far as I can see the injection of sugary fruit punch in the shower isn’t making me run in circles and climb walls yet so I’d def call it a sugar-free soap! Wink! If you love sugary fruity scents I imagine you’ll adore Vivid! -

I wish DHC would consider boxing their sheet masks at a more affordable price! Price aside there were also a few other issues I had with the DHC Alpha-Arbutin White Mask. This is a thicker fibered cotton mask kinda like the older My Beauty Diary masks from the past. It’s not saturated terribly with product and it has a rather poor fit on my face. The mask is just too thick to let any of the essence to absorb into my face during the wear. And as I said it was a bit dry…! I like a “wetter” mask with a thinner fiber that won’t tear during the wear this was very thick with very little essence. I had to keep adjusting it as well since it didn’t quite fit my face correctly. It also had side panels towards the upper portion of the mask. I suppose this was so the mask would fit at your temples but it just ended up getting caught in my hair which annoyed me. Results were unfortunately not instant. Depending on the sheet mask you use results vary but in many cases are clearing visible after a single use. Unfortunately, I read reviews stating brighter skin was visible right after use but I didn’t see anything brighter about my skin. As I said above, arbutin happens to an ingredient you need to be diligent with so I really didn’t expect it to whiten with a single treatment! If you’ve never used an Asian facial sheet masks, like the one you see below, it’s simply a mask with cut outs for your eyes, mouth, and nose that’s heavily saturated with an essence. There are a variety formulas to choose from including whitening ones, brightening ones, anti-aging ones, etc…etc….etc….you place the mask on your face, wait for 15-30 minutes, remove, and press the palms of your hands gently into your face to allow the essence to absorb. That’s it! No rinsing after! Follow up with your other skincare. I used to use sheet masks like every single week night but now I use them 3-4 times a week. As much as I’d love to recommend DHC Alpha-Arbutin White Mask this one disappointed me. In a sea of inexpensive facial sheet masks this formula proved expensive and didn’t produce the results I wanted in a single treatment! Too bad because I really love DHC products. -
