If you’re looking for a water resistant SPF that’s wears long and strong on the hottest, most humid days I’d highly recommend Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream For Face but be prepared to deal with its heavier texture. I typically use a fast absorbing gel formula SPF under my makeup and I’m very, very spoiled with Japanese brands that have perfected this formula. I’ve actually yet to find an SPF as good here in the Canada.
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream For Face is something I’ve used religiously though particularly when I’m out and about for a longer amount of time and around water. This is a very heavy cream SPF which you have to practice extreme patient with. The texture is creamy and quite moisturizing but it does in fact have a white cast which disappears as it sets (it takes about 5 or more minutes for it to absorb fully and set after application so that the white cast disappears and the product fully absorbs into skin). My drier skin doesn’t mind the texture as it doesn’t cause any oil or shininess. I’ve always find you have to practice patience with this formula for it to work well for you. It’s something I apply after my shower and prior to getting dressed or doing my hair as that gives it plenty of time to settle into my skin.

Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar is created to soften and add to shine to hair. It’s a toffee scented bar with hints of honey! It smells delicious, like a soft, creamy bite of caramel to me! I’ve always been a fan of Honey I Washed the Kids Soap and I’m sure happy to have a shampoo bar scented just like it. The fragrance lingers quite long which makes me a happy girl indeed.
I actually used this and only this, no conditioner, for several days and it really did a nice job cleansing my hair and making it soft. My hair is drier with some frizz and it worked a treat without conditioner. Not that I’d give or forgo conditioner daily but I wanted to try it without conditioner to see the results. My hair is super long and it wasn’t tangled up all after use in the least! I didn’t experience build up issues either which was a plus.
If you never used a shampoo bar it’s pretty handy especially if you travel a lot. It’s basically a puck shaped bar which you can wet and swipe across your head a few times. Work into a lather with your hands and rinse! Pretty nifty and one shampoo bar lasts for literally ages, far longer than a bottle of your favorite shampoo would!

Basically you’re looking at a formula of 100% Pure Argan Oil suspended in purified water. The formula is supposed to be just as hydrating as the original Argan Oil but the water gives the product a lighter consistency that absorbs easily. Not that the original formula didn’t absorb easily but one of the nicest things about Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment is you’ll feel quite alright using at as a daily and nightly treatment versus the original formula which isn’t particularly friendly for AM use as it is a bit rich.
I have very dry skin and I have to say this isn’t nearly as good Argan Oil in terms of the hydration it provides. It’s fragrance free and it absorbs instantly into my skin. The texture reminds me of a thick, congealed gel. It feels very luxurious and it does soften skin without leaving a film on my skin. However, Argan Oil is most definitely the more hydrating product of the two formulas. I do like I can use this as a serum of sorts in the morning and following up with my other skin care products and not worry about it being too rich or concentrated. As my friend and reader so kindly pointed out in the comments below, this is actually supposed to be used as layer serum. So this first followed by the original Argan Oil is the proper application process which is suggested on the box. I think this is kinda pointless as really they are the same product just in a different formulation so I don’t really see the point of layering but it seems a necessary evil to get the best moisture for me…!
I think Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment might be a nice pick up for those with oily skin who are afraid of the original formula. However, for those with drier skin who do like the original formula you should stick with it as this version is not anymore hydrating plus it is simply a diluted formula of the original and more expensive!

I was pleasantly surprised that the first use my skin felt nicely hydrated and it didn’t strip my skin. It didn’t break me out (rarely do I break out though so take that into consideration) either. I actually exfoliate once a week using a facial scrub but after the first week of using this I didn’t feel the need to do my end of the week scrub. My skin was much more smoother! My drier, patchy areas softer and more refined. After week two my skin wasn’t glowing and I didn’t feel like it restored my youthful glow but my moisturizer and foundation were applying easier and weren’t sitting on top of my dry skin! My moisturizer was absorbed easily and my foundation was looking fresher and wasn’t caking up on my drier, flaker areas like around my cheeks!
Given time I hope it’ll lighten the smaller dark spots I have on my lower jaw line and perhaps restore glow to my lackluster skin but as of now it does a beautiful job whisking away dryness without stripping my skin.
Don’t doubt this one for all skin types as it seems to be a hit with everyone right now and with a mere two weeks of use under my belt I saw some very nice results with it.
This one is becoming part of my daily skincare regime.

The little “cookie” pieces are supposed to leave hands with a matte finish (whatever that means haha). The black little chunks aren’t gritty and they simply absorb as you massage the product into your skin. The formula absorbs easily into my skin and leaves my hands nice and soft with a delicate fragrance. If you have super dry hands this might not be good option for you as it’s lightly moisturizing. It’s good for day use in my opinion but you might want to go with a heavier option for nightly use. The fact that it’s in a pot doesn’t make it particularly friendly or hygienic unfortunately.
This is a cute, lightly hydrating hand cream! It’s not really super special but it’s fitting to include in the Desert Memebox for sure! I wish it smelled a little nicer and was a little hydrating but I can still see myself easily using it up as I apply hand cream as often as I apply lip balm so it’ll be easy to get through it! Not sure I’d repurchase it though.

I’m loving on this new Skin 79 10 Seconds Mask! You know how I love Asian Sheet Masks but sometimes I’m in a rush and I don’t have the time to seat around with a facial sheet mask on even though I love the benefits.
These aren’t a traditional facial mask so they do not have a cut out design for eyes and lips. They actually look like a massive makeup wipe. Each textured cloth is saturated with essence but it is a lighter essence so these aren’t soaking wet the way a facial mask would be. To use them you’ll simply lay on your face and press the cloth with your palms gently. After 10 seconds (I admit I leave it on a little longer) you simply throw away with the wipe and press your hands against your face again so excess essence absorbs. So what happens next? Well…it kinda gives you that just washed your face look! It adds a bit of moisture but does leave slightly tacky. I like the way they kinda whisk away my flaky areas because my skin feels smoother after applying one but there isn’t so much essence per a wipe that I’m left oily or too shiny for makeup! These soften my skin for skincare and my foundation applies easier.

Ok, so they are a thinner, longer towelette…and no they aren’t going to remove waterproof makeup and do only a mediocre job of getting all my makeup off BUT…!
Don’t let that sway you from a purchase. These delightful wipes contain real coconut, papaya, and other fruit extracts and smell like heavenly, creamy coconut milk! They are ideal for keeping in your purse or makeup bag to be used on your arms, legs, bosom, or anywhere you just want to freshen up. Right now they prove a little useless but when the warmer weather sets in or if I decide to head out for a humid climate come vacation time these babies will be coming along for the ride. They have a cool refreshing feel and leave behind a the delicate scent of coconut milk after wiping with them.

This is a nicely textured oil that isn’t too thick nor too thin. It’s a single step cleanser for removing all your makeup easily and effortlessly but of course, can be used in the first step in a double cleanse should you desire. I personally double cleanse and this does a great job removing 99% of my makeup including waterproof mascara although I personally like removing my eye makeup prior to washing my face. But it does deserve mentioning that if you gently massage it around your eyes it’ll easily break down makeup. -
The product met my expectations. I heard a lot of great reviews about this lozenges and it really made my sore throat gone. Taste great, its a tad price but really worth it than other brands.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color is a lightweight, balmy full color lipstick that have excellent pigmentation and are formulated with shea and murumuru. They not only give lips a burst of juicy color but also have a nice hydrating, skin softening formula through the wear! The texture ensures you’ll get a nice, easy, smooth glide across lips and they lack flavor or fragrance for the senstive users out there. They wear really well at around four to five hours and they have no issues with migrating while color remains quite vibrant through that wear time. -
