I will say the hand cut bullet just isn’t my thing. I don’t think I have large lips but they aren’t too thin either but this design seems more suitable for larger lips as I feel like I have no control during application. Combine the thicker formula with the hand cut, flattened shape and application feels very messy to me. I prefer a more traditional lipstick shape as I feel like I have better, more precise application. I do no think the “cut” adds anything to the formula. It’s just an excellent, creamy formula overall and likely would be just as great without the entire “hand cut” dealio going on.
The shade I purchased was Hazelnut which is a brownish rosy pink that’s warm. The color provided opaque color on a single application and just got better and more intense when built! Although a single layer is plenty since this is a very thick formula. The formula was a bit messy to apply but Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick is a beautifully textured lipstick with plenty of pigment, excellent wear, and smooth application

First off you do want to curl for the best performance. I find without curling that the application tends to be messy! So take a moment to curl your lashes so they are tilted up and outwards which in turns means easier application of Plump No Clump. Now you can proceed to layer up! Stroke this threw once or twice and you’ll get fairly dramatic results. Lots of length (which surprised me as typically mascaras are one trick ponies) and very nice volume and fullness. My lashes looked lush and very, very long!
Although not waterproof this wore well without making my lashes stiff or crunchy and it removed easily at the end of the night. I do have drier eyes and the wear was great without flaking or smearing!
Now it does hold curl well but doesn’t quite curl lashes itself. It does need a helping hand as I mentioned above. I find the formula clumpy if I apply it without first curling my lashes! So yes, it holds curl well but doesn’t quite work to curl lashes up and out.

This is a gel based foundation that has an easy to apply and blend out texture. The gel texture is cool and refreshing on skin and absorbs easily without laying on top of skin once applied but sinks in and provides smooth, flawless coverage. You can obviously see this is a water based foundation as almost instantly upon application it kinda of “bursts” when it contacts with skin, thins and sheers out, and applies with a very easy glide. It isn’t oily, it isn’t greasy, it is however, very soft, soothing, and lightly hydrating as you apply. I don’t feel like it’s greasy in any way nor does it have a dewy finish. The finish for me is slightly dewy for a few seconds but it sets to a softer, smooth finish that has a second-skin look. It’s very lightweight and feels virtually weightless on skin. It does not cling to drier areas on my face and has a very smooth, even appearance that looks airbrushed. -

If you suffer from drier skin I’d say Lush African Paradise Body Conditioner is an absolute must have! This one hydrated with a beautiful fragrance that lingers on skin like a perfume!

Ahhh Chloe Love Story Eau de Parfum! A most fitting fragrance today as I’m feeling a little lovie! We all have those dreams of happily ever after, those fantasies of the perfect love story, could be the Prince on his white steed come to whisk you away to a land far, far away. As for me, my fantasies include a mad man in a little blue box. Or, at the very least, some dorky guy like myself who I can enjoy the simple things with even if he can’t travel through all of time and space, I’ll Chloe Love Story is a fresh white floral that at first mist has a slight grapefruit note that dries down to a bright neroli note. The scent diffuses quickly as it dries down and notes of of jasmine and physalis come out to play giving the fragrance a little hint of sexiness. The note of jasmine kinda makes me feel like I’m at a wedding as it has that unusual wedding bouquet type of dry down but even deeper into the wear you’ll find cedarwood warms the blend up and gives a woodsy edge to the final set.
Anytime I wear a Chloe fragrance it does evoke the spirit of romance……! It’s like a sunny day in the park with your favorite boy! Green grass, blue skies, the warm of his hand in your own! Chloe Love Story is the perfect light Spring fragrance but don’t let the lighter floral notes fool you as this has a beautiful linger scent with excellent throw and wear.

This is a plastic compact with a dual lid. Unscrew the top and you’ll find a puff located on top, there’s a flip top secondary lid that opens to reveal the sifter for the powder under this. It’s fab that the puff is separate from the powder, the double lid really helps keeps things from getting messy! Did I also mention this has a lovely light vanilla fragrance?
Nothing bad here to say! Besame Brightening Powder is a must have especially for setting concealer! I really like the consistency of this powder! It’s not your typical silica powder and has a thicker more luxurious texture that really brightens up a look yet remains very natural on skin.

Soap & Glory Cheekmate is a multi-use product to stain lips or cheeks. This comes in a squeeze tube with a needle nose applicator. The thinner nozzle of the tube allows for just the right distribution of the product as it is highly concentrate so this applicator style allows you a dot or two to be released from the tube which is plenty to do your entire face. This is a bright red stain that will work on most skin tones but fairer, porcelain, or rose with pink undertones or redness on their face and cheek area might wish to avoid. Medium fair and up will find it creates a lovely, healthy flush on cheeks. It’s about the same tone as Benetint however a little brighter and bolder. On my cheeks I think it looks naturally pink and pretty. The formula is a gel-like consistency which blends a heck of a lot easier than Benetint. It’s very lightweight and moisturizing on skin. Please, try to be careful during application and not too heavy handed since the formula is SUPER pigmented. I find it wears nicer on my cheeks than my lips as it goes on a little too deep on lips giving me a clown-y look. -

I didn’t feel this formula was hydrating at all. It’s actually kinda mattifying to me as it seems to absorb access oil on my forehead and t-zone area when I mist it on. I tried it prior as a prep prior to skincare which is what I typically do with facial mists. It didn’t really ease the way for my moisturizer or aid it to absorb more easily. As I said, it seemed to actually remove a little moisture from my skin versus adding it. I also tried it after skincare as a prep for makeup but again, I felt a little disappointed. If you have oily skin you might feel like it’s an excellent prep for your makeup as it does seem to absorb excess oil and shine creating a semi-matte finish once it dries down. Finally I tried it as a setting spray and felt like it did an ok job at setting makeup and also refined the look of powder on my drier skin so it appeared more luminous with less of a drier finish. I didn’t any major extension in the wear of my makeup after setting with this.
I think the disappointment for me stems from the fact they market as a product that restores moisture and helps retain it. I didn’t feel like it was moisturizing in the least. To me it seems like a very overpriced, mediocre facial mist!
The idea behind Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water is interesting and maybe even sounds fresh and unique. But in the end, it’s just another facial mist and happens to be one that’s a bit on uneventful and falls flat in its performance.
Sorry Smashbox!

The good news? It works.
The bad? You’ll have to wait around for the results.
Kate Somerville Complexion Correction Spot Reducing Concentrate is an excellent way to lighten dark spots and hyper pigmentation but an expensive one. The unfortunate problem with hydroquinone is the wait time. It takes anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks to actually see results in my experience. You have to be diligent about application and you have to have patience. I have some darkness on my lower jawline/cheek on the left side of my face that I wanted to be rid of and this successfully lightened the darkness to a point it wasn’t visible unless you were really looking for it. I used this once a day, in the evening, on my dark spots (not all over my face) after completing my entire nightly regime so this was the last step in my skincare application.
I saw absolutely no results with the first use so don’t expect visible fading in 24 hours. I started to see some change within a month and within my second month I saw a dramatic difference.
Lucky enough, I still have enough in the tube to possibly last me another month or at the least two-three weeks. Overall, I liked this and would purchase it again to resume the treatment for the best possible results.

They have a fairly excellent color coverage but many colors I needed about two sometimes three applications for the best intensity and finish. I don’t like how these apply. I blame it on the paddle applicator perhaps? They have this rather dry way of applying that makes them look less than glossy and they end up look blotched up and streaky or even patchy on my lips. So on the first application I’m rarely happy with the results and I find myself going in for several more layers so the color looks more even and smooth. It’s just a weird gloss texture that doesn’t seem to spread well. Again, I think the applicator might be partially to blame for this as it seems to not saturate well with the gloss so you end up with a bit of dragginess as you apply. It’s not a thick gloss nor is it super tacky or sticky yet it wears very comfortably and long for about five hours on my lips. Although they kinda apply dry and draggy they do feel pleasantly hydrating on my lips through the wear so they aren’t sucking moisture away from my lips but lightly hydrating them. Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lipgloss has potential but doesn’t completely capture my heart. I wish the gloss formula was a little thinner, a bit slicker, and a lot more shiner. I also which they applied a bit better as at the moment I feel like they just drag on and look terribly patchy and uneven if I don’t pay special attention during application! On the upside, the colors are really gorgeous and there are some keepers in this release like 69, Brickhouse, Liar, and Failbait! I’m sure you’ll find one to love but beware as the formula doesn’t always play nice. -
