The scrub itself is very smooth too. The oil and the scrub crystals are blended together perfectly, so you don't need to scoop to the bottom! Skin is left smooth and glowy. -

It's very shimmery. But only the top layer. Once you start using the product, there is barely any shimmer. The rest of it works ok as slightly shimmery eyeshadow though.
