When my curls need extra hydration I find a good deep treatment always gets them back to frizz free order. I like to apply to hair lightly misted with warm water from root to tip, then plop my hair on my head, cover with a cap and allow it to sit for half an hour. Even though the Shea can be heavy it washes out cleanly with co-washing. This is a great weekly treatment and has been a life saver when it comes to tangles more than once. -

My skin can get a bit patchy and the odd texture and redness can be a bit difficult to cover. This foundation is full coverage and can feel a bit heavy when first applied. I have found the best way to apply is with my fingers, then to smooth it out with a damp beauty blender. Once dry it feels much lighter. Coverage can last a full day without cracking. All in all a good option when you need very full coverage. -

I've been using Airspun for years now, it is light and pleasantly scented and gives me a soft finish. There are many loose powders on the market but sometimes the best choice is an inexpensive one. The translucent shade does have a pinch of color but my skin is pale and it does not darken my complexion. Overall it is my first choice of powder, great for daily wear. -

This spray is quite possibly one of my favorite lazy day products. Maintaining my curls can be a pain but even when they are loose a few sprays can get it back in order. On straight hair, like my daughter you get more of a textured wave but on my natural curls I get full curl. It smells like bananas which is a nice fruity touch. One of the best features outside of easy curls is that it doesn't flake or turn my hair white. I will continue to buy it as long as they sell it, it is the easy and affordable. -
