I got a chance to try the Home Chef meal service. We are so busy that it was worth a try.
The first box included a meal with salmon for the main course and another with pork chops for the main course. Please see results below:
*1 set of tomatoes for each meal--through them away and used our own they were of such low quality
*Salmon was barely edible--extremally low quality
*Pork chops were of good quality
*Green beans of good quality
*Creates a lot of waste to do it this way
*Cost per serving was 50-60% of a restaurant--about what I would expect for say picking up meals at a hot-food bar in a restaurant
*Recipes were easy to follow
*Some of the ingredient packaging was akward
Results: Better value to get free recipes online and buy the ingredients yourself.
Unfortunately, they lock down orders so much in advance (too many days, in my opinoin) that we will be dealing with one more box.
It is nice to avoid the "what do you want for dinner" question. However, there are too many free resources along with grocery stores where you shop online and just pick up things to really make this a good thing for anyone who is value conscious.

One caveat: I recommend putting in 1/2 the seasoning packet and then adding to taste. It's very salty. I use the leftovers in the crockpot with chicken for an additional meal.
Another Bonus: DO use the bread cubes without the seasoning packet for breakfast casseroles and bread pudding. I was excited to be able to make bread pudding again.
During Thanksgiving season for the United States, we make sure to buy extra.
I hope you enjoy them!

I've eaten the twists with hummus, nut butters, and in homemade trail mixes.
Highly recommended!
