Meh. It's not a bad product, per se, but just nothing special. It's a gel-based moisturizer that is to be applied thickly overnight to soak in. I find that on my dry skin, it absorbs too quickly. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause it to break out, but rather leaves my skin normal. Which is good, I guess, but when I'm spending extra money on a hydrating mask, I want my skin to feel nourished and hydrated, which I don't get from this. I actually liked the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa used for this purpose better, as I actually felt a difference in my skin hydration the next morning. -

I've used this product as both a night moisturizer as well as a sleeping mask. It is way more effective as a sleeping mask, but uses up tons of product this way. To use as a sleeping mask, put a thick goopy layer on your face and don't rub it in. I sleep on my back so I just leave it like this overnight, but if you are prone to product transfer on your pillow, I'd leave a thick layer on for 30 mins and then blend in whatever excess it is. When used as a sleeping mask, my skin was SO SOFT when I woke up! I like this better than the famed Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa is a gel-based creme, fresh smelling, goes on smoothly and is non-greasy. When used as a regular moisturizer, it's nothing special and does its job (for my dry, dehydrated skin), and I think you can get cheaper alternatives like L'Oreal Hydrafresh line... but it really shines as a sleeping mask! -

Haus of Gloi is an indie bath and body brand, available online (http://www.hausofgloi.com) and homemade in Oregon. Their products and scent blends are complex and top notch, and my very favourite product of theirs is their Pumpkin Butter body moisturizer. This texture is amazing - it is thick but still light, not greasy at all, SO smooth and spreadable, and absorbs right away. It comes in both unscented (Aether) and scented versions. My scent likes lean towards fruity/fresh, and my favourites (some seasonal) are Litchi Milk Tea, Zazz, Lassi and Imp. For more comforting scents, try Vice, Mango Sticky Rice, Troika, Twice is Nice, Sweet Potato Treat, Winter Divinity. A 2oz sample size is $4.50 US, and full sized 6oz is $10 US. Try it, you'll be hooked! -

I am nowhere near the target demographic of 'mature' skin, but I have dry skin even though I'm young, so can always use the extra moisture. This is a very thick, creamy, spreadable eye cream. It does have a hint of a fragrance as well (which is why I deducted a star), but has not irritated my eyes - I have reviews of people that have reacted to this, though. Does it lift and firm and prevent wrinkles? I'm young, so haven't dealt with those issues (knock on wood!) and can't comment on this. But it is very hydrating and moisturizing, and makes my undereye concealer apply smoothly, so no big complaints. I find that most undereye concealers are just so thin and don't give me much moisture, so this is a good drugstore alternative until I find a better product. -

I have extremely dry, dehydrated skin, and this is the best moisturizer I've EVER tried. I like moisturizers to be thick (because it feels like it's actually doing something on my dry skin). And this is thick... but not greasy at all, dries to a matte finish, absorbs well, is unfragranced, and is ideal for my dry skin! Only downside is that it's on the more expensive side ($39 at Shoppers Drug Mart - but still a great deal compared to any face cream you'd buy at Sephora or Holt Renfrew) and never goes on sale - but worth it for my holy grail moisturizer, especially in the winter time. I've been using this for a few years and can't stop repurchasing this stuff. I can't recommend it enough!!! -
