Its definitely a shimmer (glitter) powder. Its not for everyday wear thats for sure but for some sort of special occassion where glitter is needed you could try it!

I love a good nail buffer and some of them are definitely better than others. I'm prone to getting dents in my nails and I need something that will buff well but not leave a rough surface. These ones have the BEST file side to buff nails smooth. Its very fine but if you keep going over the area it works perfectly even for dents. And the shine side is the best I've come across. Usually my nail buffers leave my nails looking fairly shiny.. nothing exciting but this one actually makes them look like you have a top coat on! It's pretty amazing. The size is also perfect to throw in your makeup bag and the two pack is definitely handy. I would highly recommend these!
PS Even if you're an avid polish wearer (like me) you can use it to buff your polish back to shiny when it goes dull!

These blushes come in gorgeous (although very limited, there are only 4) shades from light pinks to bronzes. I love them for giving a subtle sheen to the cheeks, but I will say they don't deposit a lot of color. That isn't a bad thing by any means, they are just a more sheer blush than other formulation types but you can build up the color with layering. My personal favourites are Honeymoon (pink w/purple) and Living Doll (bright pink w/gold).
These have a ton of product in them and are likely to last you an extremely long time. I find that the sheerness of them allows them to double as a highlighter for cheekbones and brow bones depending on the shade. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a sheer, shimmery finish blush.

If you want extremely thick, voluminous lashes that look next to falsies - this is the mascara for you! I'm all about volume when it comes to mascara and I've tried a lot of different brands and formulations but always find myself coming back to the original Lash Blast in the blackest black they have!
This is worth the $7 or $8 you spend, it lasts for ever and I find, it gets better with time! It starts to get a little thicker consistency and gives your lashes even more volume as it gets a little older! I highly recommend this mascara for volume and with the cheap price tag you can buy the Lash Blast Length and Lash Blast Luxe for less than a department store brand and have a whole wardrobe of mascaras!

I'm not a fan of giving bad reviews, but when a product is expensive and has false claims I feel like I have to. I purchased Stila's Illuminating Foundation in 10 watts - a perfect shade for me and was excited to try it. I've heard great things about Stila's foundation line but this one just didn't hit the mark for me.
First, it isn't really a liquid foundation. This is much closer to a cream foundation and is mineral oil based so those with oily skin or even combination skin need to be aware. With all that hydration from the mineral oil, I figured it would at least look sheer and glowing on the skin but instead it turned out thick and cakey and dried into every fine line I have (and I don't have many I'm only 23!). Another thing is that mineral oil is a very inexpensive ingredient in cosmetics and for the price of this foundation it is HARDLY worth it!
I hope Stila has some other foundations that aren't as disappointing as this one. There are still a lot of products I love from their line so it doesn't deter me from buying from them again. Just be wary that this isn't the product for everyone.

I've been on the hunt for an amazing pressed powder for ages. Something that would control oil in my t-zone, without making my complexion look too matte or cakey. I wanted something with a little luminosity but nothing glittery or shimmery.
I found that product in MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Light/Medium! I had heard amazing things about this product but being a makeup junkie, I've learned not to expect a lot and that everyones opinions are their own. What may work for some, may not work for you. After demoing this product at the MAC counter I was surprisingly happy with the finish and purchased it right there!
I don't think my makeup bag will ever be without this product again. Its light coverage, luminous finish and generous size are all the key aspects I look for in a pressed powder! Although its a little pricey, a little goes a long way and its definitely worth the splurge!

I purchased this foundation (reluctantly) after all the rave reviews I had read on my fellow blogs.I am a foundation fiend and I wasn't sure if I believed all of the hype surrounding this one, but when I saw Rexall was having a sale and the price was unbeatable, I caved.
Boy, am I glad I did! This is probably one of the best foundations I have purchased. I'm pretty picky when it comes to feel, coverage and blendability so its hard to impress me with just any foundation (and believe me, I've tried them ALL!). I purchased this in the normal/dry option (even though I would say I'm more of a combo/oily sort of skin type) because it contained more sunscreen - and thats never a bad thing! This foundation is extremely blendable, feels almost weightless on the skin and has an amazing color selection!
My little tip is that I mix this with Revlon's PhotoReady makeup to give it more dimension and keep it from falling flat. If you're looking for a longwearing, semi-matte and inexpensive foundation - hands down this is the one for you!
