Make Up For Ever Reboot Foundation
This is not my favourite MUFE foundation and I am sad about that. Though I am ok with foundation looking not as fresh by the end of the day, the oxidation, the accentuated pores on my cheeks and the lack of buildability makes this a bit of a pass... +
This is not my favourite MUFE foundation and I am sad about that. Though I am ok with foundation looking not as fresh by the end of the day, the oxidation, the accentuated pores on my cheeks and the lack of buildability makes this a bit of a pass for me. Don't get me wrong, MUFE has so many foundations I love like their Matte Velvet Skin and Pro Finish which are among my top favourites, but this is just not the right finish for me at this stage in life. It did even out a lot of the redness around my nose and on my cheeks and I liked being able to look at my "natural, but better" skin. The oxidation wasn't terrible on me so it's not like I went completely orange by the end of the day, just a touch darker really so if you prefer a lighter coverage and more realistic skin finish, REBOOT is exactly that, but not what I would think to pull out on a daily basis. -

This had some pretty incredible coverage while feeling quite lightweight on my skin! Though the description says 8 hour coverage, I used this in conjunction with the Hydrating Jelly Primer and Multitasking Spray and noticed that around 6 hours in, I could see oil breaking through and slight product breakdown around my nose and chin. It wasn't terrible, but my skin definitely didn't look as matte as earlier in the day. I would also go up a shade as the product came out lighter than the swatch on the package. I still found this to be a decent foundation and felt like I wasn't wearing anything!

What I love about this spray is that it can also be used as a primer spray which sometimes when I am in rush in the mornings, I prefer as I don't have to get my hands dirty. It also works well as a makeup setting spray, but if you prefer the "hairspray frozen effect" of other heavy duty sprays, this one might not cut it. This also had a nice mist as there is nothing worse than a bad spritz in the face!

The texture alone is cool enough to make me love it, but what I didn't expect was for this primer to work as well as it did! It didn’t pill upon application and had a very cool, bouncy texture that smoothed out instantly on contact with skin. Though you feel like you are removing a fairly solid chunk of primer from the jar, the texture reconstitutes itself so that the product in the jar looks perfect and clear each time! This functioned just as well as some of my other high end primers and didn't feel heavy on the skin. If you enjoy makeup, the jelly factor alone will make you very happy!

I've always liked Snapple Iced Tea and just as I expected, the Raspberry Tea tasted refreshing with enough sweetness to balance out my sugar craving, but not make me feel like I was going to crash 3 hours later. The plastic bottle definitely makes it easier to take on the go because of the lighter weight, but glass is probably better for the environment no? The taste is really quite good though and I look forward to more flavours! -

I have always loved Neutrogena's face sunscreen because they do not have that tropical sunscreen scent and are amazingly light on the skin. This one is no different and I am impressed that a sunscreen with such a high SPF feels so much like a regular moisturizer! I never would have known that it was SPF 50! The scent and finish were really impressive and I will be using this all summer for sure!
