It FEELS like a primer with that sort of silicone-smooth finish, but right here you would already be wrong. Firstly, this is not a primer. This goes on AFTER your foundation or as the final step in your skincare routine! It does not disturb your carefully blended foundation and just seems to erase areas of shine or with larger pores. It can be used all over or as a spot treatment for around the nose, cheeks and forehead. A little goes a long way as the fluid is indeed like a serum so the "spreadability factor" is awesome. The formula is incredibly lightweight and the container is so small that you can put it in your purse for touch-ups. It's almost like having liquid blotting papers!
Secondly, there are no silicones in this product. Crazy, right? That smooth feeling comes from using an oil-targeting micro powder that absorbs oil the moment it touches skin. While I could not find a single ingredient that I could decipher as "micro powder", there are a number of ingredients in this product that control viscosity so I suspect it is a "group effort". I hesitate to mention this because I'm still on the fence about methyparaben and ethylparaben, but there is methyparaben right in the middle of the ingredients list, so there is actually a higher concentration of preservative than the plant extracts it contains. Correlation does not equal causality when it comes to cancer and parabens, but for anyone who prefers a cleaner ingredients list, just FYI.

I want to say that these were a breeze to use, but there were a few obstacles involving product consistency and application though at first glance the solid build of the matte packaging is truly luxurious and bears the mark of a first class product. As with most lip products of this nature, we have the standard doe-foot applicator though I found because of the whipped nature of this product, I preferred using a more defined lip brush to smooth out the edges of my lips. If you're willing to work a little harder for perfect application then yes these Burberry Liquid Lip Velvets live up to their claims, but if you can't be bothered then I would move on and try one of their Full Kisses lipsticks instead. -

After all the years that this flavor has been out, this is still one of my favourite chocolate bars even though I know white chocolate isn't really chocolate ;-) The cookie crunch just makes this that much more interesting and because the white chocolate is pretty sweet as is, the cookie crunch takes it down a notch that makes you just want to devour the entire bar in one sitting! One of the best and most original chocolate bars on the market! May it never be discontinued! -

This instantly refreshes my hair and has a light and invigorating scent that isn't overpowering at all! While I would prefer a dry shampoo that adds a ton of volume, I found that this particular one gave me a boost initially and only started to fall flat at the end of a 10 hour day which is really not bad at all. I really loved the scent (and I don't normally like floral scents) because it wasn't overwhelming and really pleasantly fragrant! Another important thing about this dry shampoo is that as a gal with dark hair, this sprays out clear! I love it! I would recommend this product for anyone that needs a bit of a refresh without feeling like your hair has a ton of buildup in it.

These eye colour contour pens are much slimmer than the chubby shadow sticks I normally use, but having said that I do appreciate having more control over where the colour goes as I can more easily do my inner corners and give my shadow more of an angled look at the outer corners.
The actual formula is incredibly smooth (thank you dimethicone!), like skating on fresh ice, and does in fact last a solid work day even without primer. The formula was also surprisingly blendable and not "sticky" like some waterproof shadows can be. I like sticky for doing a single shadowed-look, but for wanting to create some depth having the ability to work the shades like a powder is a plus. I completely recommend these to anyone looking for a fast, quick neutral eyes!

Without boring you too much, at first glance, a large part of the ingredients in what I deem to be THE most important product of any skincare regime are silicones. I have mentioned before that this makes me hesitant to use at night as silicones are barrier forming over the skin meaning that nothing really gets in. In terms of preventing moisture from leaving the skin, that's what a silicone will do. I happily used this during the day, but switched to something 'cone-free at night when skin is at its repairative peak.
This is a great day time serum as the silicones give skin an instantaneous smoothing effect in addition to making sure moisture stays in. At night, I would use something else as I believe silicones have no place in a nightly skincare routine, but this is just personal preference. Though this serum was "water-filled", it was not enough to use alone and my normal skin type still needed a good dose of moisturizer on top. If you are wanting to step your skincare game, but don't have any major concerns The Water Bank line is good place to start. The products are affordable and focus on keeping skin hydrated. Korean skincare will totally rock your world with how forward-thinking the products are. If you haven't heard of Laneige before until now, you are about to dive into the Rabbit Hole my friend because Laneige has SO MANY other products. This is just the tip of the iceberg!

I finally picked up the shade Rose D'Oro after seeing so many wonderful reviews of Luminoso and all I can say is that Milani still reigns as an awesome drugstore brand. This baked blush is incredibly pigmented with very little product and gives a wonderful bronzy glow. Wear time is also decent with consistency only breaking up towards the end of my 9 hour work day. I cannot wait to make more use out of this shade in the summer with a tan! -

I have the Nespresso Pixi and it honestly makes you feel like you are making coffee like a barista! I am not a huge coffee drinker, (one to cups per WEEK) so when I do drink coffee it is such a treat. The coffee that is brewed tastes just like or even better than what I have tasted in coffee shops. The smell is so aromatic and intoxicating that even though the pods are almost $1 each, having a professionally brewed coffee in the comfort of my own home has made me such a fan of this machine that I have even given away my Tassimo! -

This mask is probably interesting to anyone focusing on anti-aging as the essence does contain 10 different peptides that work to restore elasticity to the skin. Though the peptides are at the end of the ingredients list, it's not like you need a high concentration for them to be effective. his was the only mask out of the group that contained dimethicone which I am always iffy about in skincare. It is present in a relatively low concentration compared to other masks I have seen where it is the second or third ingredient. This mask also had a very soft scent - slightly floral with the essence taking an hour or two to fully absorb into my skin. This was quite a bit longer than the other three masks so I can only assume it's the peptides? My skin felt bouncier than with the other masks, so I have a feeling it might be one of the more effective ones! -
