Living in dry Calgary, I always have super dry hands and feet. The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector doesn't cure my dry hands, but it helps provide much needed moisture and relief. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy. The smell isn't great, but it dissipates quickly and it does kind of grow on you. When my hands are especially dry, this lotion has a soothing effect.
I would never pay full price for this product. It goes on sale a few times a year.

Thank you, Product Review Club, for selecting me to test this bathroom tissue. I almost always buy the same brand of bathroom tissue and don't experiment too often. One nasty allergic reaction experience has made me rather cautious. After testing Cottenelle, I will add this brand to my safe list.
As some others noted, it is an extremely thick tissue and I found it a bit too thick for my own preference. I liked the softness and strength. I really liked how the roll filled the tissue holder and definitely noticed that I didn't have to replace the roll as often as I do with my usual brand.
One other thing that irritated me is that the rolls aren't perforated into squares, which makes it difficult for small children (and some adults!) to be aware of just how much tissue they are using. It also doesn't tear neatly across, which made the tissue look messy to me.
At regular price, this tissue is double the price of my usual brand on sale. However, if Cottenelle goes on sale or I find coupons, I will definitely pick it up.

I tried the Wild Rose scent. I love the fragrance--it's feminine and light. Unfortunately that's about all I like about this anti-perspirant. I ended up getting white residue on my clothes as several other reviewers have mentioned. I also found that the product tended to ball up in my underarms and if I was wearing something loose or sleeveless, little balls of anti-perspirant would drop onto my clothes or the floor--gross! I didn't find it very effective for working out or even for just wearing throughout the day. I do, however, wonder if the fact that it was delivered on a -30 degree day which means the anti-perspirant froze and then thawed had an impact on the product's effectiveness and also caused it to ball. I am currently using this product only when I'm at home and can either reapply throughout the day or don't care if I get sweaty. I haven't noticed a difference in my underarm hair, but I'm not using it daily because it doesn't offer enough protection. I would not pay extra for this product and will not likely buy it again. -

I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to test this product through the product review club.
I don't wear foundation every day in part because I can't seem to master brushes to apply it and also because it constantly comes off on my hands when I touch my face and in tissues when I blow my nose. As I grow older, however, I find I need something to cover up those "bad complexion" days when my skin tone is uneven or splotchy.
I have a love-hate relationship with the applicator. I LOVE that the sponge blends the makeup and makes it almost foolproof to apply. Unlike many other testers, I had no problems getting the product to appear within a few clicks. What I HATE is that it's very easy to dispense too much product into the sponge applicator and that there is no way to clean it. After using this product every day for a week on a clean face I don't feel great about continuing to use it knowing that I have smeared facial oils all over the sponge. It feels unsanitary.
Although the colour match is very good for my skin tone, I'm not greatly impressed with the coverage. While splotchiness is evened out, blemishes are not covered up. The fine lines around my eyes are not covered up or "erased". I don't think they're really even diminished. Using more product creates a wet, slimy mess so it's not that I'm not using enough.
Like one other person commented, I find it goes on a bit wet. I find it quickly dries and this isn't a turn off for me but I can see how some people might not like it.
Overall, I'm giving this one a grudging recommendation because it does work better than a number of foundations I have tried.

I was fortunate enough to try this product courtesy of the Product Review Club. I have a love-hate relationship with Neutrogena. I want to love their products, but I end up hating them. I have tried nearly every product that they make and have yet to find one that I will buy again. Still, I keep trying them as so many people I know love Nueutrogena.
I was very disappointed that this product was not a moisturizer as well as a sunscreen. It went on feeling chalky and dry, and while the chalkiness dissipated for me, my skin didn't feel moisturized and was quite dry. The texture of the sunscreen on my skin was very off-putting to me. I didn't feel like it really absorbed--it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin. I tried using it with a moisturizer but that made my skin oily and caused me to break out.
It is a very effective sunscreen and has very little odor. I don't mind it so much on my ears and the back of my neck, but I can't use it on my face. I am very disappointed and would not buy this product. I would recommend it to anyone who uses and loves Neutrogena as I'm sure they will have more success than I did.

Thank you ChickAdvisor for selecting me to review this cream.
I always wear moisturizer with SPF, even during winter. Although my container leaked in the mail, I noticed right away as I was cleaning it up that the cream was thick and absorbed into my skin without leaving a greasy residue behind. I am impressed with the thick consistency and how well the cream absorbs. I have fairly dry and sensitive skin and this cream left my skin feeling moisturized without feeling oily and did not irritate my skin at all.
I can't say that I've noticed a reduction in the fine lines on my skin--and being in my early 30s I examine closely every day--but my skin feels softer, perhaps a bit more supple as well.
I also find the SPF to work well. In some moisturizers the SPF isn't very effective, but this cream is protecting my fair skin from burning.
I will definitely buy this product again. It's too soon to call it amazing but I am impressed after 10 days.

I have been searching for a new favourite mascara for several months. Unfortunately Maybelline New York The Falsies isn't going to be it.
I really, really want to love Maybelline mascaras. But there's always something that prevents me from loving any Maybelline mascara--either clumping, smell or ineffectiveness. This is the best Maybelline mascara I have tried so far, but I still won't be buying it.
I didn't have an issue with smell, and I didn't experience any clumping, but I also didn't experience any volume. I have long, curly lashes but they are not very dark and not very thick. The Falsies lengthened my lashes even more, often leaving smears on my eyelids until it dried. (This is a common problem for me so I always apply my eyeshadow last, but it's still annoying to remove makeup as you put it on.) Unfortunately, the added length makes my lashes look even sparser than they are. On the plus side, I only experienced flaking once after applying several extra coats at the base of my lashes in an effort to make them look thicker.
The Falsies is oh-so-close on so many levels. If it was just a bit better at thickening. If it was just a bit less effective at lengthening. If it was less intensely black and didn't look so fake. I want to love it, but it's just not quite there for me.
If a friend with thick but short lashes asked my opinion, I might recommend the Falsies to them. It's great at lengthening but it did not impress me with it's volume.

My husband brought his own brand of shampoo into our marriage. I'm not sure what made me decide to try it, but now my favourite shampoo is one formulated for men!
American Crew Peppermint Cleanse shampoo has peppermint and tea tree oils. It smells fabulous. My scalp tingles but the shampoo is gentle. It removes oils, dirt and styling products. I have baby fine hair that is easily weighed down by products and this shampoo leaves my hair clean and manageable.
Use it with the Daily Conditioner which is also minty and tingly.
I love, love, love this shampoo and highly recommend it. I used to buy a clarifying shampoo from a high-end salon that was to be used once a week. That shampoo cost twice as much and is half as effective as this shampoo when used a couple times a week.

I decided to try this cleanser out of desperation and ended up loving it. After Garnier changed their Fresh cream cleanser recipe and caused my skin to dry out like sandpaper, I feel like I have tried every skin care product at the drug store. I even tried the gentlest cleansers available at Lush to no avail. However, this cleanser has been fantastic for me. I like the slight tingle and my skin feels very clean. I definitely need moisturizer day and night after using it, but my skin feels clean and it doesn't cause me to break out. As a bonus, I like that it's natural. -

I really wanted to like this new anti-perspirant but I couldn't. Nivea has a lot of great products but this isn't one of them. The scent, "fresh sensation" with lemongrass is fresh without being overly sporty or girly smelling and is light. The packaging is modern and innovative but the product just doesn't cut it. It goes on thick and cakey and very white. It doesn't say it's invisible but it reminds me of years ago before invisible products came into existence. It also doesn't stick to the skin very well. It tends to ball up and drop off. It also gets all over clothing. Worse, it doesn't prevent perspiration. I am extremely disappointed in this product. The scent is perfect but the effectiveness just isn't there. -
