Straight forward mosturizer. Thick and rich feeling, but absorbs fast - without feeling greasy or tacky. Mild scent. Nice minimal packaging, but did find it a little messy with product.

I enjoyed both flavours but for different reasons. Of the two flavours, I found myself reaching for the sweet one more often and could eat more in a sitting. The butter flavour satisfied my craving when I wanted something salty while watching a movie, but I found I couldn't eat to many in a sitting as the flavour would get a bit over powering - which in this case is a good thing because it caused me to be more aware of what I was eatting. -

I tested the Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush during a weeks stay at a cottage. I have sensitive gums which are normally irritated by most toothbrushes. I found this worked well, and did not cause me any irritation - for that reason I would recommend and repurchase the product - but other then that I found it worked as good as a regular name brand toothbrush.

This is hands down one of Coola's best products, and THE best face sunblock I've tried. It's price tag is high-end, but so is the quality and effectiveness. Listed as a Natural Mineral Suncare, it feels very light-weight on the skin, leaving a completely matte finish, and dries almost instantly upon applying. It only has a slight cucumber scent which is not overpowering, and not even a hint of the normal sunscreen/sunblock smell!
Personally, my skin is kinda oily and my face tends to perspire a lot in the heat. This left my skin feeling dry(in a good way) and cut down on my face perspiration significantly when I wore it! Even with a high price tag, this product is definitely worth it!

Coola's SPF 30 Moisturizing Body Sunscreen is a good quality product, but fairly average, with a high-end price tag. It's comes unscented, applies easily, dries pretty fast, and latest for awhile. It's also listed as 80 % Organic/98 % Natural, so if that is something that is important for you, it might be worth it. It's a good quality product, but since it performs like a lot of other sunscreens on the market, the $30 for 150ml price tag doesn't cut it. -

Coola does a number of quality, certified organic, skin care and sun protection products that are really great, but their LipLux lip product falls short. The product is certified 70 % organic and is described as a "all-in-one treatment and sun protection ... hydrates and nourishes while UVA/UVB broad-spectrum protection." It does do a good job at moisturizing the lips, leaves a natural looking glossy finish, is SPF 30, and has a mild fruity scent in the tube. On the lips however there is no noticeable scent, and since there is no flavoring you're left with the unpleasant waxy taste of cheaper lip products.
While the moisturizing, organic ingredients, and SPF 30 are good for a lip product, the waxy taste leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't have many 'holy grail' products, but Jack Black's Lip Balm line is hands-down irreplaceable! I've only tried the Natural Mint, which has a nice mint smell that lasts awhile but isn't ever overpowering, but I've heard all the scents are nice. It applies easily, doesn't leave a super shine, and leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturized. It is higher prices then your averaged lip balm, but a little product goes a long way and delivers. As well, they do sell kits with different scents from time to time at a discounted price, which brings the price per item down a bit. It's the perfect unisex product, as it's effective, easy to use, packaged nicely, and subtle ... but that's just one guys opinion. :) -

Overall I really like Origins Starting Over™. I primarily used it around my eyes and lower forehead as this is where I'm starting to notice fine lines and tend to get a little dry. It left my skin feeling VERY smooth, and I noticed my fine lines were subdued, altho not completely gone. It dried pretty fast, and did not leave my skin feeling like there was something sitting on it. At first it has a nice subtle orange scent, but after it has been on for a bit, I notice a sort of clay smell. I'm not overly sensitive to scents and it isn't overpowering, but since I use it around my noise, it does get to me after awhile. Personally, I counter-acted this by using another moisturizer with a neutral scent for the rest of my face, or a minty lip balm, and that does the trick. Even tho it is a very nice moisturizer, since the 'Age-Erasing" affects aren't out of this world, it is a little on the high side price wise. I would still recommend, but I would try and get it on sale ... but this is just one guys opinion. :)
Note: For disclosure purposed, the product I tested was in a tube offered as a promotional item vs. the jar version commonly sold in stores. As far as I know the product is the same, but the packaging could affect the smell or constancy of the product.
