I'm not one to fuss too too much over deodorants because I'm not that much of a 'sweater' as I'm always doing my best to stay cool. From time to time I like to try different sticks because I find that some tend to leave a bit of a white mark and it's a bit hard to get out of my shirts. I wear a lot of dark shirts so this has created a bit of a problem for me. Chick Advisor gave me the opportunity to try out Dove's Advanced Care Invisible Sheer Cool Antiperspirant Stick to hear what I thought about it.
I opened it up to see how it smelt and I was pleasantly surprised as it had a soft floral scent which was not overpowering at all. It went on smooth and left me feeling fresh all day. I noticed after a couple of days that my underarms felt like they had been moisturized (nice bonus). I also found that I had no white marks left on my shirt as I sometimes do so this for me was a win.
All in all I find that the big selling point for Dove's Advanced Care Invisible Sheer Cool Antiperspirant Stick would be that it doesn't leave any white marks on my shirts. I know they also advertise that it provides up to 48 hours of protection but for me personally I've showered twice within that time. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wears a lot of dark colors and is tired of them little white stains in the pits.

So this was a bit of a change for me when I was asked to give my honest opinion on a mans antiperspirant stick. I can't deny that I kind of chuckled but hey if it works it works right? Well I wasn't about to find this out personally so I asked the boyfriend to give Degree Men Ultraclear Black + White Fresh Antiperspirant Stick a go. Chick Advisor is great for sending out new products in exchange for honest opinions and thankfully the other half decided it couldn't hurt to try.
I asked him to give me his thoughts on the product and who knew how well he would sum it up. He said following. "I have been using this Degree Ultraclear Black + White for about two weeks now and I really like this product. I am a shift worker and am often working a 12hr day. I find that the Degree Ultraclear Black + White does its job as described. I wear mostly black or colored shirts and found that almost no white marks were left on my shirts. I often get rashes from deodorants so I am often very selective about what I buy. (this is the truth!) I can safely say I will be adding Degree Ultraclear Black + White to my shopping list. The only down side I would say it did not help with sweat as much as I would have liked but it definitely masks any odor."
So there you have it folks, from the mans mouth to your ears or should I say eyes in this case. This antiperspirant comes highly recommended and if you are a shift worker it's worth giving a try.

I have always liked using Dove Shower products and never really had anything bad to say about them. When I was asked to take part in a Chick Advisor Product Review Club for Unilever 'A Selection Of Personal Care Products' I was happy to put in my two cents. Dove's Shower Foam Sensitive Skin was one of the first products that I used of the three.
My initial thoughts upon receiving soap was how much I liked the bottle/container that it came in. It was pretty sleek and had a pump (which in my opinion is always a bonus because of how easy it is to use in the shower). I also really liked the scent because it had a certain freshness about it. Now onto the actual product itself. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't to fussy on it. I thought the foam was really runny and it didn't lather up so much. For me that's a big thing with shower gels and soaps, I like the lathering aspect of it all. I thought that it did it's job and my skin did feel extra smooth after all was said and done. Again, I just didn't like the lack of the lather.
I recommended Dove Shower Foam Sensitive Skin to my sister as she has eczema and her skin is rather sensitive to most products out there on the market, she also thought that the soap didn't lather much. I would only recommend this to those of you who could care less if your soap lathers up or not. I do give bonus points for the packaging, smell and the whole after feel of your skin.

Of course as we age we all look for that one product that will help slow down the process. I myself am a bit fortunate to have some good genes (thanks mom) however aging is inevitable. I like to try and keep my skin feeling as smooth as the next lady and also like to prevent them pesky little lines that sneak up on you with time. With Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Leave-on Mask time has truly been on my side. I have to give thanks to Chick Advisor's Product Review Club for giving the gift of not only smoother feeling but also an overall refreshed looking face. I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion on how well it does/doesn't work.
I have to let you all know that I follow a mediocre skin regime ( I mean compared to what I see most women doing on social networks ). Every morning and night I will wash my face with a foaming cleanser, then apply a toner and follow up with a moisturizer. Pretty basic for the most part but it does seem to be working for me.
Since I've added the Aveeno Absolutely Leave-On Mask into my nighttime routine I have found that my skin has become much smoother than before. I find that the areas around my eyes and my nose have seen the biggest change. I love the scent of the product when you massage it in although once applied it fades quickly. I also find that at first it may feel like your skin is a bit dry but that give it a few and boom it's smooth as a baby touch. I really like that you don't have to use a lot of this product to cover your whole face, just a couple of pumps will do the job. Aveeno always works hard on making sure its products (this one included) help fight environmental aggressors. This one in particular not only detox's your skin but will also pre-tox it.
Overall this product has everything that I needed to push my skin that extra step further into looking ageless. If you are anything like me and are in the market for the best products at the best price then this might just be something worth at least trying out. I have recommended this product to family and friends already. My sister has eczema, she has tried the product for herself and has also noticed a big difference in the texture of skin.The worst that has happened for me is I now have an extra container of nighttime moisturizer that is being left unused. I give this product a huge thumbs up !

I am always excited to try new dishes, especially ones that boast themselves as being quick and easy. I was given the opportunity to try Knorr's One Skillet Meals in Moroccan Chicken with Barley. Now initially I was truly a happy camper however the second I saw "just add" chicken, cauliflower, carrots AND raisins my smile slowly diminished. It's not because I'm lazy or that I don't like to cook from scratch, but let's be real here if I am going to be adding all these ingredients I might as well make it from scratch.
When I think of Knorr Side Dishes I immediately think "quick and easy" but this One Skillet Meal wasn't so quick and easy. The meal tasted delightful ( I didn't add raisins ) however it certainly wasn't a fast solution to accommodate my growling tummy. You will also need to get the 'extra' ingredients and prepare them first. Sounds like a lot of work for a fast side dish/meal.
I won't be buying this because it's kind of inconvenient for me and my family. I mean if I have to prep other foods to 'add' to a semi prepared meal then I will make it from scratch myself. I also won't be rushing out to tell my friends and family about this product as I believe they won't be fussy on it for the same reasons. This is something that I would definitely skip passed in the grocery store.

When life picks up and has you rushing through your day it helps to know that there are quick and easy meals that you make to keep you on schedule. I was fortunate enough to receive a package of Knorr's New Selects Spinach Florentine with Penne Pasta from Chick Advisor's Family Rated Club in exchange for my honest opinions. I am certainly happy that I had the chance to taste this new product as I will be adding to my grocery lists in the future.
Like most Knorr side dishes (which you can also make as a standalone dish) you can cook this tasty pasta dish in just 10 minutes. The Spinach Florentine with Penne Past is deliciously seasoned with spinach, garlic, onion, Parmesan, Romano, cheddar and Asiago cheeses. Once the pasta is cooked your room is filled with such a beautiful aroma. It makes you feel like a chef went through the kitchen. It helps that these new dishes are made with more wholesome ingredients and are gluten free with no artificial flavors or preservatives.
I was a bit worried at first when making this that the pasta would be a bit a hard like the previous one I had tested however it was not the case. It turns out that the pasta was cooked a la dente and for me it was nothing short of being perfect! The taste was almost as if I had cooked it all from scratch and not from a packet. I almost couldn't believe how creamy it was as I am one who likes my pasta to be a bit saucy. I also think that the price is definitely worth it and will be recommending this product to my friends and family.

When I was told that I was going to be one of the lucky people that would take part of the Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop testers I was more than excited as there is a large amount of traffic that runs through my house. Sadly a lot of the people wear shoes in the house so this mop is such a great tool. I have used the mop several times now because it is such an easy product to use and it also gets in some hard to get places. All you need is a couple pumps of the mist and you are on your way to clean an entire room. I love that they made a flipping head so that you don't have to stop half way through to change any pads, you can just keep on going. The spray bottle is super easy to remove and refill with just the just one-touch release button. I also like that I will be able to save money with the washable microfibre pad. This is one mop that will staying in this house for a long while. I highly recommend it for all those who feel like they are forever "tidying up". Go give it a try ! -

I have to start off by saying that I am already a Knorr product consumer and love their Sidekicks pasta side dishes. When I was chosen to receive a few samples for free of their new Selects line I was excited to try them. I decided that I was going to go all in following the instructions word for word. Might not have been the best idea. For starters I probably should have let it cook a little longer than 8 mins because the noodles where a little too hard, much harder than al dente. Some of the seasoning powder ended clumping up a bit as well. I really was looking forward to eating this because it smelled so delicious. I guess that it might have been better had the noodles cooked a little longer. I might try it again because I can imagine that the over all taste may have been affected by the cooking time. Like I said I am already a fan of their Sidekicks, so I don't think I will give up that easy. -

I was given the opportunity to test the new Mott's Fruitsation +Fibre Tropical treats/sauces for free in exchange for my honest opinion on its taste, value and quality. I loved it all. The portion size was great and just enough for a kids snack size. The texture wasn't too thick and slid off of the 'golden' spoons that came with the napkins and coupons in the mail.
I have since purchased this delicious snack a few times already since first trying them. You can bet that I will keep purchasing the product for the next little while. It's a treat that no one would want to get tired eating.

I am always excited to pass out the new Mott's Fruitsations +Fibre Raspberry in my house. It is officially the one snack that the kids are happy to devour. Diapers might pack up a bit more substance and a little more stink however the price is right to eat healthier. I liked everything about the saucy treat but I did have one tiny bit of a problem with it. When I was given the treats to taste and review I was also given a pack of napkins with 2 'golden' spoons. The spoons are great but not the best to use with a saucy treat because it just slips right off the spoon, once we used the plastic spoons it was a lot better.
I have been buying Mott's Fruitsations ever since they sent me coupons to test them for free.
