I got this product as part of a samples collection of the whole line - I must say this clay-based cream was the only effective product in the whole sample bag. Not only does it not contain petroleum or alcohol as Most of the badescu products do; it is actually effective.
I work all day long in a greenhouse/warehouse and sweat like crazy, but I find if I apply the TINIEST amount to my nose after I moisturize, then my nose doesn't sweat alot and get all blackheady. The sample container which is maybe a gram has lasted 6 months so far and I have barely made a dent in it.
It does, however, help that I am caucasian, as this cream visibly lightens the spots where I put it. It works great to dry out single pimples within a day or two and can be covered with makeup easily.
I would recommend Only this product out of the whole badescu line of samples I got, as the alcohol and petrol-based products are obviously not great for skin.

Okay - So I love Aldo accessories but lately I have been absolutely taken aback by Aldo and their team.
Starting out, I ordered a pair of shoes with cute bows on them for my sister's wedding. They fit and looked great so I went to look for some sort of whimsical little accessory to match, at their Aldo Accessories store. I ended up getting these rings http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/accessories/womens/rings/91727650-frodeya/66 (which are gold coloured rings with bows that have tiny fake gemstones on them).
Since the wedding was a couple months away, I decided to find out what the material of the rings was, so I could determine whether they would discolour/turn my fingers green if I wore them, which in that case i would save them for the wedding day. I tried to look on the website but no material information is provided. I contacted Aldo via the Contact Us button and sent an email asking what their accessories are made of. Well, a round robin game of email tag ensued as they first told me:
Thank you for writing to aldoshoes.com.
In order to help you find the product you're looking for, we need you to provide the style number/name and your location (city and state/province).
You can find the style number/name by visiting your local store and asking one of our sales associates, or by visiting our website.
Once we have this information, we can verify which material the specific ring you are inquiring about is made of.
Please let us know if we can assist you further.
Thank you for choosing ALDO.
Sincerely,

So I emailed back explaining that no, in fact the store did NOT have the information, as that was one of my first questions upon purchasing the ring ("This is fake, right?" "Yeah, but I don't know what its made of."), and that the sales associate wouldn't have a clue, compared to the head office I was emailing.
So I tried the LIVECHAT feature on the website, and got a woman called Mena. She was no help so I emailed head office yet again, "i want to know the composition materials of these rings. I have tried your Live Chat feature with a person called Mena, who was absolutely no help and told me to contact a sales rep at a store. Well I was AT the store, trying to buy these rings but didnt because the minimum wage rep didnt have a clue of the manufacturing materials. Please tell me it shouldnt be such a problem. If you have a live chat feature you should hire people that have a clue about your products. 2013-18-08-15-42-968 "
Then a person called Justin emailed me saying, "

I decided to just give up on my quest and post a review about them. I will assume they are of a composite that will probably discolour so I will save them for the day, then wear them after that.
Just today I got one final email from Aldo: "
Upon reviewing your request with our Marketing team, unfortunately we were unable to confirm the material for our accessories. I
It would seem that most of our rings are top coated with material that is different from what is underneath.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Thank you for choosing ALDO.

How incredibly ludicrous and disturbing! They have lost me as a customer for sure.

My favourite lotion, EVER.
I regularly carry this around in my purse and to things like camping - it is a very effective moisturizer for all body parts and the scent is subtle and pleasant. The only downside is that the tube is made of aluminum (or some similar metal) and once you start getting low and you have to roll the tube (like toothpaste, to get it all out) I find that the tube actually cracks and leaks. I have to keep it in a ziploc baggy, but the effectiveness is so worth it.
A little goes a LONG way and I only have to buy this about once a year!

My Favourite mascara! The brush is amazing and the skinny end can coat individual lashes with ease. I hardly ever get mascara on anything But my lashes with this brush, and the waterproof version stays on in chlorine pools, salty oceans, and the shower. To get it off I simply rub some lotion into my lashes and then continue to wash my face - so easy.
I continually purchase this mascara in spite of all the new versions Maybelline comes out with.

The brush with this mascara is HORRIBLE! It is soooo thick and awkwardly logged shaped that I end up getting mascara on everything But my lashes! If I use this, I have to have a q-tip full of lotion at the ready to get rid of any mascara on my eye lids and eye area. I much prefer the barrel-shaped brushes where I can use the skinny end to coat individual lashes if needed. -

BURNS MY FACE!!!
This is one sunscreen I CANNOT use - it burns my face! If it gets near my eye area, automatic chemical burn. If I sweat even a drop, automatic chemical burn. I cannot cannot use this in the pool or lake or ocean, as as soon as I come in contact with the water wearing this sunscreen, my eyes burn like no other and ruins my day.
I bought this for about $15 at the drug store, and got 2 bottles because I thought it would be a really good product to take to Cuba. Big mistake. I have since given away my tubes and will never ever use this product again.

This Neutrogena one, first off, smells. Which I cannot stand. As a farmer and sometime bee minder I cannot have scents in my body products as they attract insects. So I cannot wear this at work.
Second, I noticed that it practically pours out of the bottle; no real squeezing necessary. It is super liquidy which makes it appear to go farther, but at the same time feels like it is not being as effective as thicker sunscreens.
Conclusively, I will stick to the cheaper, thicker, tried-and-true Coppertone.
