Arm & Hammer just keep on giving me reasons to love them! Years ago I had a rechargeable toothbrush that I really liked, but it eventually lost its ability to recharge. Since then, I've been using a regular manual toothbrush, but I've never forgotten how much better my mouth felt with the other one. About a month ago I decided to throw down the $9 that the Spinbrush costs, not expecting much. How good could an inexpensive battery operated toothbrush be, right? Turns out the answer is, very good!
The Spinbrush packs a lot more punch than I expected. If you're used to the expensive brushes this one might seem a little loud, but it's really not that bad. It's quite decent quality and if you've only been using a manual toothbrush you'll be surprised at how much cleaner your mouth will feel - teeth and gums! Feels so much better! After a month, the batteries that came with the brush are still going strong. The brush heads are supposed to be changed every 3 months - mine is still looking new.
If you're curious about how much cleaner you can get your teeth with this kind of brush, trying the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush is an excellent place to start, and quite likely where you'll stay.

Simply put, I love this stuff! I'm very fair skinned, so blush can be quite overpowering on me. It's hard to get colour without overdoing it or looking fake. I've been using Physicians Formula for a couple of years now and get just the right amount of colour. Looking at it in the package, it seems like it's quite bright, but it's sheer and gives me a nice natural glow. It also doesn't clog my pores or cause a negative reaction on my sensitive skin. Seems a bit pricey, but it's excellent quality and lasts well. Just picked up a new package today! -

Maybe I've been spoiled by more expensive razors, but these Bic Soleil razors are a bit of a nightmare. I bought them on sale and with a coupon a couple of weeks ago thinking I'd be thrifty. I'm glad I didn't spend much on them. The blades feel sharp, but not a fine sharp. I also think the lack of thick framing around them makes it much easier to cut yourself. I shaved my legs with one of these once and cut myself far more than I have using any other brand. I've tried a couple of times to quite delicately shave my underarms, but I was left with significant razor burn. Bic Soleil razors are pretty, but I'm left with the rest of the package and don't dare use them on my body. -

I've been using this cleanser for 3 weeks now, and I'm happily surprised by it. I have problems with clogged pores on my nose and chin that are fairly visible. Two days after I began using Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser the reduction in size of my clogged pores was quite noticeably different. I've tried other products with the hopes of having that effect, but none have worked for more than a few days.
I have sensitive skin and this cleanser hasn't irritated it at all. For those whose skin has become greasy after use (this includes me), you need to moisturize your skin very well. When you remove oils from your skin it triggers the glands to create more oil, and using a product like this can send them into overdrive. Keeping your skin well moisturized will help keep that under control.
I find the texture and smell of this Charcoal Cleanser very pleasant. The only problem I have is that it doesn't seem to be helping at all with my mild acne. Otherwise, this is definitely worth a try!

Canadian rock fans were sad indeed to see the demise of the Headstones (one of Canada's more successful rock bands) in 2003, but it was for good reason. The band's lead singer, Hugh Dillon, had battled demons and hardcore drug/alcohol addiction for years and, despite numerous attempts at rehab, he just couldn't stay clean when they were on the road. Realizing his life was on the line, Dillon pulled the plug and made one final attempt at beating addiction. This time it took. He went on to pursue a successful acting career and starred in two hit Canadian TV series, Flashpoint and Durham County.
In 2011, the Headstones put the hurt behind them and started making music again. Funded entirely by fans, Love Fury is a labour of love and a testament to how talented each member of this band is. This CD is a flurry of track after track no BS rock & roll, including a cover of ABBA's SOS, done Headstones' style. Twenty years after they first hit the music scene, the Headstones are older, wiser, and tighter than ever before, but still raw and full of attitude. My favourite song is probably "longwaytoneverland", but to be honest, Love Fury is start to finish full of favourites!

Ever since I developed a chronic illness that affects multiple systems in my body, I've been perspiring 2 - 3 times more than I used to. Fortunately, the odor isn't worse, just the wetness. Regular antiperspirant wasn't working at all so I had to go on the hunt for something stronger. I've tried a couple of other brands, but Secret Clinical Strength has been the most effective. I've been using it for about 3 years now and am quite pleased with the results. I apply this at night before bed, then a quick swipe of regular strength Secret deodorant in the morning and I'm good to go. I do still get some wetness but it's so much better than before! -

Thanks to the ChickAdvisor Review Club, I received a free box of this new litter to try. I have 2 kitties that can really stink the place up at times! Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter has done a great job at absorbing the smellies that my girls leave behind, especially the urine. The texture of the litter is much finer than I've ever seen before and it clumps very nicely. I hate it when a clump falls to little un-scoopable pieces when you're removing it, so that's a big bonus. Keeps the litter box cleaner overall. When I first poured the litter into the box, there did seem to be a bit more dust than my usual brand, but still far better than store brands I've used. I also like that the litter itself doesn't have a strong smell to it...kitties are much more sensitive to smells than we are! Overall, Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter is the best performing litter I've ever used, but the price point is a little high for the amount you get. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it on sale and stock up. -

I love Softlips! It's been my go-to balm for years now. Very light, silky and moisturizing without being sticky or heavy. I've used many different flavours and found them all to be very appealing. I've also enjoyed the ones with a hint of colour to them, although recently I couldn't find any. The price is great, and even better if you buy the packages of two. Just wish the tubes weren't so skinny. -

Lipstick is too heavy, gloss is too sticky, balm is often too thick. I want my lips to be moisturized with just a hint of colour, so what's a gal like me to do? Try yet another product! It's a little expensive to me, but I'm so glad I chose Colour Riche Balm! It's very light and has a nice natural touch of colour (I chose #218 Rose Elixer). More importantly, it keeps my lips moisturized without an off-putting taste. Going to pick up another colour! -
