I happily got myself a Raspberry Lemonade one day, only to be very disappointed when it hit my tongue. Not at all what I was expecting. I was anticipating a refreshing and fruity slush, but instead it was very fake tasting. Like it was made with a cheap powder mix, sugar, and ice. Timmy let me down... :( -

I LOVE this stuff! I only just discovered Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion a few months ago, but I wish I'd found it sooner. I don't think I've ever used an entire bottle of any body lotion because once it gets down toward the bottom I move on to try the next "best" thing. This stuff though, I use every drop of. It goes on so smoothly and sinks in right away with no tacky feeling. And it smells amazing! (Ok, I'll admit it...I'm guilty of repeatedly sniffing myself after using it, lol!)
Nothing has ever made my skin so incredibly soft and smooth. Plus, it doesn't irritate my skin, even after shaving. Great price for an absolutely fantastic body lotion. Seriously, try it!!

I received a sample of this product, and am grateful for it! I have course, thick hair that sucks up conditioner like crazy. Always on the hunt for quality conditioners, I try many and many fail. This one didn't. My hair feels so soft and light! I usually put a bit of shine serum in my hair, but I purposely didn't use it so I could get an accurate sense of the conditioner's quality. No need for the serum, because the conditioner alone made my hair shiny!
Definitely adding Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner to my repertoire!

I used to use St. Ives Apricot Scrub years ago when it was in an apricot coloured jar. I don't know why I got away from it, but a recent visit to Chick Advisor re-introduced me to it. At 40, I'm going through more changes in my skin....still having acne issues, but now using a prescription topical to address the changes. It has a little bit of antibiotic in it, as well as Retinol, and increases skin cell turnover. Because of this I find I'm needing an exfoliant. Problem is, I have very sensitive skin that reacts negatively to almost everything on the market.
I've now been using this scrub a couple of times a week for about a month, and my skin is very happy! It does a great job of sloughing away dead skin cells, and actually leaves my skin looking and feeling hydrated. But the best part, of course, is that it's not giving my sensitive skin grief. I'm so glad I was reminded of this fantastic scrub!
Price-wise, you can't beat this stuff. A nice sized tub of it is about $7-$8, and it happened to be on sale at Walmart when I picked it up. Such a great deal, I use it on my whole body and my skin is soft and smooth!

Since I usually try to avoid using paper towels, I've never really sought out the best brand....until I became ill a few years ago and had to make every move I made as easy and simple as possible. What first got me to try Bounty was the select-a-size option because I hate to waste. I couldn't believe how strong and durable they were! Very absorbent, too! Since then, I buy only Bounty. Stock up when they go on sale, and make use of the regular coupons on save.ca to save money. :) -

The price for items like this is comparable to their quality. If you want a really cheap price, you're going to get really cheap toilet paper. For "staples" like toilet paper, I buy only on sale and stock up a bit. You can also get coupons for Charmin on the save.ca website.
My tushy finds Charmin Ultra Soft cushy. ;)

Mild bladder leakage has plagued me for about 3 years now, and I've been dealing with it by using regular panty liners. No more, though. These Poise liners are more absorbent and wetness isn't really noticeable like it is with regular ones. I also find the regular ones have a bit of an odd smell when they get wet, but I didn't notice that at all with Poise. They're comfortable - I didn't even know I was wearing them - and don't bunch up like regular liners.
It should be noted that these liners are the lightest of 5 levels of protection in the Poise line, so there's plenty more to choose from if the coverage is too light. I plan on purchasing a package of the next level up to try out myself.
For comfort and peace of mind with a very embarrassing condition, I find Poise liners to be worth the price...which isn't bad at all.

I think this is my absolute favourite bath product! When I'm finished showering I put some of this on while my skin is still wet, then pat dry with a towel. The texture is very light and your skin is left so soft with no feeling of residue. The smell is also light and even a bit sexy.
It seems a little pricey at about $14 CAD, but a little goes a long way and it's a good quality product. I've been using this oil for years and will continue to as long as they make it!

The price is definitely higher than most shampoos, but it's not an everyday shampoo and the quality is worth it. Shoppers Drug Mart has Neutrogena hair products on sale now and then, so I try to pick it up then to save a few dollars.
