I hate this product. I really only bought it because it was cheap at Wal-Mart and honestly because the word "natural" gets me every time. I know that there is no guarantee that the ingredients are actually 100% natural but I thought I would give it a try. I should have known better. I never have liked Degree Deodorants, they simply do not work for me. I still sweat, I can smell the deodorant strongly. Just, ugh. And in this case of this product, the smell is what I hated the most. It was so overpoweringly flowery that it consistently gave me a headache. I chose the honeysuckle and tea tree oil scent. Just not a fan.

I am on the fence about this product. My results were never consistent: sometimes it works miracles and my lashes were thick and dark while other times my lashes looked pretty much the same as they always do, just with a little extra clumpyness. Also it flakes like mad. The only thing that was consistent about this product was the pain the brush gave me. I guess the way I apply my mascara is too rough on the inner rim of my eyelid for this type of brush -- its hard and inflexible, much like a comb, and it always felt like it was scratching the inside rim of my eyelid. I could just not get used to it, nor could I find a way to apply it that did not feel uncomfortable. I don't think the inconsistent results and the mild pain are worth the price you pay for this mascara. (Wow, after writing this review I guess I'm not so on the fence after all eh?) -

There are two things that I am generally not a fan of when it comes to lip products: those that are supposed to be long wearing (because they are sticky and often drying) and those that are meant to "plump" (because not only do they not work, they also have an irritating, often warm tingle that I cannot stand.) Sadly this lip gloss combines both of these two dislikes. The colour is pretty and the gloss itself is ok, but no matter how I apply it (with lip balm underneath being my tactic of choice) I cannot stop it from getting sticky and annoying immediately.
Two good things I can say for it: I love the pretty shades. I have a pinky nude, and a more candly apple pinkish-red, both of which I like a lot; also the brush is great. Its a teardrop shape with a hole in the middle (think the wands that used to come in bottles of bubbles when you were a kid...) and is very soft and bendy. This makes the lip gloss quite easy to apply. I just wish the gloss itself wasn't so sticky!

I really like the Maybelline Dream Mousse line. I have used various products from this line and have been very happy with each one. This blush is like a cream blush in that you apply it with your fingers (or a brush) and its easily blendable. You can layer the colour to make it darker, or put a tiny bit on to create a subtle natural flush. I found it slightly tricky to pick the correct shade, but if you go to the Maybelline website you can answer a couple quick questions and it tells you which one to get; handy, no? I would definitely recommend this blush and will most likely repurchase it when it runs out. -

I received this hair spray as part of a gift basket from Pantene and Chickadvisor. When it comes to hair spray I tend not to stay loyal to only one particular product for too long. I find that as soon as you like one, something better is coming along after it, that either holds better, smells nicer, or doesn't make your hair crunchy. This is my hairspray of the moment because it does all of the above. Best of all I think Pantene really understands what curly hair needs from a hairspray -- that is, it needs to have a strong enough hold to keep curls in place, but at the same time a light enough finish that it doesn't make your hair crunchy (efectively making your curls look unnatural) or weight it down. I would definitely purchase this product again because it does everything I need it to do. -

I like this conditioner a lot. I received it as part of the gift basket from Chickadvisor and Pantene. I used to use Pantene years ago but stopped when I realized that it had been weighing down my hair. However the new formula is excellent. The shampoo really helped to clean my hair without stripping it of its natural oils (and thus, its health) while the conditioner worked to create healthy natural looking curls. When I use this conditioner my hair is moisturized, feels silky soft, is less frizzy and smells really nice. I will most definitely continue to use this shampoo/conditioner system. -

However they must have changed something over all these years because I found that this shampoo really did help to boost the health of my natural curls. Its relatively inexpensive and I will definitely continue to use it. -

It is rare that I can actually say I love a deodorant. Actually, strike that, I don't think I have ever truly loved a deodorant. But this one, WOW.
I tried it out of desperation. Not that I sweat that much, or that it smells that bad, but really, I don't want to sweat or smell at ALL. And I did. With everything I have ever tried. I stayed true to Dove Deodorants for a while, and even though I liked them a whole lot, they were never really perfect (it just wasn't love). I didn't sweat dramatically less than before, and although I didn't get the dreaded BO smell, I could still smell the slightest unpleasant note mingled with my lovely cucumber and green tea (you know? or is it just me??)
Anyways, I decided to give clinical a try because I thought it would solve that. I wasn't a fan of Dove Clinical so I gave up. I mean, they're too expensive to shell out that kind of cash if they don't work! That is until I got a free sample of this guy and I haven't looked back. First off I'm dry as a bone. Secondly, not only can I not smell the deodorant, I can't smell even the slightest tinge of sweat either! It is applied at night and by morning my armpits are dry and smell fresh.
"Marathon Fresh" scent (it is the sport one) smells delightfully, something. Musky maybe? I'm not good at naming scents, but to put it bluntly it smells mildly like boys, but in a feminine way if that makes sense and I absolutely love it. Was it Secret whose slogan used to be "strong enough for a man, but made for a woman"? Because that slogan seems to sum up my feelings about this deodorant.
Ok I think I've gushed enough. Bottom line: I love it and don't plan to stop using it. Ever (if possible).

I like this mascara, but I wasn't blown away. You definitely need to work with it to achieve the "false" look, but once you get used to it I find that its worth it. After mastering just the right technique, and getting used to the texture and curved brush I was able to achieve the false look advertised (or at least much closer to it than most other mascaras).
That being said, I like to layer this mascara with the original Colossal. I find that using The Falsies on top really helps to achieve a dramatic look. I have not been able to get these same results by simply doing multiple coats of The Falsies alone. That is the reason that I am not blown away by this product (because HAVING to use another product at the same time is too much work, and means that the product alone is really not good enough). That being said though I would repurchase this mascara because I do like the effect when I have the time to work on it.
Would I purchase it instead of the original colossal? No. But would I purchase it to use in conjunction WITH it, yes. Neither of the Maybelline products are my favourite mascara though, CoverGirl's Lash Blast still holds that high honour :)

I was apprehensive about this perfume because I figured that it wouldn't have any staying power being from Bath and Body Works. This is not to say that they don't have good quality products, I just assumed that their specialty did not lie in perfumes. Boy was I wrong! Not only does this fragrance smell exactly like the lotions and other warm vanilla sugar products, it has impressive staying power. I can still smell it long after the work/school day is over! And not only that, I have been complimented on how nice I always smell. I guess I need not have doubted their fragrance line after all.
If you are a fan of any of the scents at Bath and Body Works I would recommend giving their eau de toilettes a try. As I said, their staying power is great, and the price is well below that of a designer bottle of perfume.
