The best for chapped lips!! Blistex is a miracle worker when it comes to lips and it can soothe even severely chapped lips immediately! \the price is great. It smells sorta like vick's vapour rub, which I like because it doubles to help soothe my stuffy nose. The only thing I don't like about this is that you have to apply it with your fingers and it can be a little sticky/greasy on your hands, but they do have Blistex in stick version! -
Softlips® Lip Balm - French Vanilla
This is one of the worst chap sticks I've tried. It doesn't relieve my chapped lips, it's expensive, and even though it smells great, it tastes absolutely terrible. I like my dollar store chap stick 50x better than this one.

I found this product easy to apply and it stayed on my teeth the entire time without issue. I found it difficult to find a solid 2 hour block of time when I wasn't busy or going to eat anything to actually be able to use these. During the process, one of my teeth had a sharp shooting pain through the middle that was excruciating. I ended up taking the strips off 5 minutes early (which I don't think is a big deal) because my tooth hurt too much. I have excellent teeth and have never had a cavity or sensitivity, so I will say that the pain was from the strips, but this is not my first time using Crest whitestrips, so I was expecting a bit of pain. It has been 4 hours since I took the strips off and my teeth only hurt slightly. I did notice that the tips of some of my teeth are completely white, and I'm hoping that will go away. Overall, I would say that these worked only as well as the regular professional effects whitestrips that only need to be worn for half hour.
The thing that really bugs me is that the instructions are written very generally so that they can be used for all Crest whitestrips products. NO WHERE in the instructions does it say how often you should wear the strips. It says that you should use only 7 per year, but does that mean you can wear them all in a week and then wait a year, or should you space out the use evenly throughout the year????
I don't think that I would buy this product simply because I like the Crest Whitestrips Professional Effects (original half hour version) way better and will most likely stick with those.

I would say this is for people that LOVE everything very sweet. I am not one of those people. While I do enjoy one of these once in a while, I can't even finish a small because it's too sweet. Why is it so sweet, you ask? Well, It's 1 part "simple syrup" ...yup, syrup...mixed with 3 parts water, frozen. They add a few squirts of sour lemon flavouring (Says it's real lemon on the bottle), a whole bunch of the frozen syrup/water mixture, and stir. Keep in mind that the syrup/water mixture is the exact same thing used in the real fruit smoothies... -

I really like getting this with a quarter coffee because it takes away some of the sweetness, and adds the taste of delicious coffee, plus it wakes me up a bit more. On it's own, I'd rate it 3/5 because it's too sweet. With a bit of coffee, I'd give it 4.5/5! -

I always use waterproof mascara no matter what. I typically opt for the LashBlast Fusion mascara (purple bottle), but my sister swears by this one (non-waterproof), so I decided to give it a try in the waterproof version.
1. The brush is way too thick. I keep getting mascara on my eyelid and it's nearly impossible to do my lower lashline with this brush.
2. I find that the mascara doesn't reach all of my smaller lashes, sometimes creating "bald spots" in my lashes.
3. As I mentioned, I always use waterproof, but I don't typically find it all that difficult to wash off. This mascara is a different story. Even with waterproof makeup remover, I have a hard time. I end up leaving some of it on which then makes my next mascara application clumpy.
I won't be buying this again. I think I'll stick with the Fusion or even the Maybelline Falsies.

I received this product free to test as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, but after I received them I found out that I am pregnant so I gave them to my sister to try out on the condition that she helped me give a review.
When I received the product I was impressed with the package design. It's very pretty and appealing. I noticed that the tampon wrappers themselves were more discreet since they are soft plastic instead of paper and I thought that the idea of making them a pouch to put the applicator in afterward was a good idea. In general I prefer a plastic applicator to a cardboard applicator because they are gentler and more comfortable to use, but I usually buy the cardboard ones anyway because they are cheaper. Once my sister tried this product, she said that the tampon seemed like other Tampax tampons; good absorbancy, comfortable, and effective. Overall, she felt and I would imagine that these are the same as the rest of the Tampax tampons aside from the packaging. I would probably only buy them on sale, but that's because I'm cheap and I am even willing to forgo comfort to pay less.

I received this product free to test as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, but after I received them, I found out that I am pregnant so I gave them to my sister to try out on the condition that she helped me give a review.
When I received the product I was impressed with the package design. It's very pretty and appealing. I also noticed that they are much thinner and smaller than the usual liners that I use. Once my sister tried them, she said that they worked really well. Both her and I typically use them either on extremely light days alone, or on heavy days with a tampon. On both occasions the liners ensured that nothing leaked through. She said she would definitely buy them again and suggested that I should too, once i can use them again.
