We received the Twisty Petz today and upon opening the package, my daughter was beyond excited to start playing with it. That’s where the fun ended. We followed the directions on the box to gently pull the head and tail to fit the pet around your neck. No sooner than I gently pulled, the tail/leg came flying off. Needless to say, my daughter was not happy. In fact, she started crying, telling me to return it because that wasn’t supposed to happen. Obviously. Is it cute? Sure. Is it worth what you pay? Absolutely not. -

I bought the new Slimfast Keto line when I changed up my diet. It sounded promising as you mix the drink powder with water instead of milk (I’m lactose intolerant), I bought a shaker bottle, prepared the powder and water to exact specifications and shook it like an earthquake. It looked like curdled milk in the bottle. There were chunks of dry powder still in the bottle. I even put it in the blender hoping that would work better. Nope. Not even close. I decided to give it a taste. I regret that decision to this day. Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend this if I were paid to. -

If there’s one thing that certain in my house, it’s that everyone loves breakfast. Whether we agree on what’s good for breakfast, that’s another story. I typically make a full spread for breakfast, including oatmeal. I have tried various flavors, including plain, and it seems I’m the only one who ever eats it. I bought the strawberries and cream flavor and only made two packets to test how everyone liked it. I ended up having to prepare the entire box because it was everyone’s favorite. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend you do. -

I bought this doll for my daughter for her 5th birthday. My daughter is on the spectrum and doesn’t quite grasp empathy as well as other children. After purchasing this doll and seeing her play with it, I’ve noticed a change in how she reacts to situations that call for an emotional response. I’m not saying it’s worked miracles, or that my daughter is on trend with other kids her age, but it has certainly made a difference. -

I had recently cut down on making coffee at home due to the amount of coffee that was being poured down the drain and the mess of the coffee grounds when one of the filters in my machine would rip, and instead started grabbing coffee from my local coffeehouse. It was getting expensive. My husband brought up the idea of getting a smaller coffee maker to save on cost and waste at the end of the morning. I looked around and ended up checking out the Keurig. Not only did I get it on sale, but the pods for it are so ,u h cheaper than canned coffee. I am so glad I made the switch. -
