Thanks so much for the compliment! Yeah my kids are full grown men! And my 24 year old niece, with her soon to be 6 year old son live with me as well. Add 3 cats and a dog. Plus my kids girlfriends (and a son for one of them) and the house is a virtual zoo. Oh, and 2 beta fish for the almost 6 year old.

My only sanctuary is when I fly up for work, or my room while I am at home.

I see you are reading some books? I don't know if I've heard of any of them. I'm reading the Steel Brothers Series by Helen Hardt. They are slightly naughty.

Hope it's a fab day on the west coast. It is warming up in Calgary but I am on site this week and it's cold here. Boo! :(

You too! The weather is actually nice enough to spend time outdoors as well. Even if just for a cup of coffee or tea. Right now, all I have planned are a couple of exchanges at Buy Buy Baby and a once over of the hospital bag, haha. Speaking of which, any advice on this? I've found that there are so many different opinions on what to bring! I certainly don't want to overpack but don't want to forget something vital. What are your weekend plans? :)

Wow! Both of your kids are seriously musically inclined! Nice to see your daughter is embracing her talents :) So exciting for your son to be making such a big trip this year as well! You are such a proud mama and absolutely deserve it. Sixteen years of motherhood is an accomplishment that few are lucky to have achieved, never mind persevering on your own. I can't imagine cherishing anything else so dearly. Certainly not an easy job but I can't imagine another quite as rewarding! I'm definitely looking forward to rambling about my children one day too! I have a feeling I'll probably end up being another one of those moms who talks about how perfect her child is while still at the hospital, hahaha. Most of my cousins all have toddlers now and they are constantly in talks about how smart their kids are for their age! Seriously looking forward to it all :D

You mean too say they want a $10 a day daycare??? How the heck is that possible? If you have 5 kids you would only make $50??!! And then feeding them on top of that?? That makes zero sense unless Im confused on what you just said LOL. Because if thats the case thats insane and then no one is going to want too do childcare and find a different job...then what?? Where will the kids go? Government funded DayCare I imagine....

It often takes a really long time too settle and figure out what you want too do as a career in your life....hence the reason why I kept going back too school and earning certificates.....My parents had said that I should just have a career in going to school all the time because thats what I kept doing lol. I know I have 2 younger ones at home and a nephew who stays with us so its a lot. But we have a nanny who comes in and helps me when Im working and my husband works lots as well. When I got sick I needed someone too help around the house and with the kids so it makes it abit easier on all of us.

I haven't tried any oils yet, I was searching for a rep in my area that sells them, still searching, oh but I could probably get them at the health food store?

I am taking my mom out on mothers day for a pedi, looking forward to some girl time and pampering!

That's exciting about your books, how long will they take to ship? I can't wait to see how you like the rest of the series! And yes, I loved Lauren's book, have you read her 1st fiction... called Someday, Someday, Maybe? I want to get my hands on it now!

Lol I know...People cringe when I tell them that....No different than any other job really lol. Someone has too do it. I only do that now too fill in when workers call in sick, vacation etc. I was a full time embalmer and worked part-time as a Hairdresser/Esthetician until I hurt my back so can only do it so often as its a very heavy lifting job. Hairdressing/Esthetics I went back too after I got sick as it was much easier for me too do physically and I absolutely love it.
