Thanks.. I am feeling much better, kind bummed that I missed out on the nice weather, but I have lots of summer days ahead. Your still sick with that cough, maybe you should get it checked out again, do you still have the torn muscles?
If you can't find the book, don't go out of your way to buy it, I can ship you mine to borrow for a few months. Its big thick book, it may take a while to read it.. :)
Haha.. hooked from the first bean.. sometimes stupid, funny, rarely witty comments fly into my head, often they are not appropriate to write lol.. but the bean one fit!

I cleaned yesterday, and visited with a girlfriend in the afternoon. I had high hopes for today, I wanted to be outside every minute.. however I woke up with some type of stomach bug, I am super nauseous & generally feeling yucky.. my day has consisted of napping, netflix, tea & CA.

I can just image the plant sale, those committed gardeners can be really aggressive.. "outta my way, those heirloom seeds are mine" lol

How long was your son away for? Did they go camping?

5 books in the series!! Yay, that makes me so happy! I am almost done Lauren's book, will finish it up tonight hopefully and then I am going back to James.

Have you ever read House Of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski? I bought it a few years from Chapters, read the first chapter or so and then something came up and I never got back to it. Anyway, while spring cleaning today I came across it so I thought I would google it and refresh my memory... now I remember why I didn't go back to it.. some of the reviews on Good Reads are a bit disturbing! Check it out if you haven't read it, and if you have... what did you think? Am I going to be sane if I give it another try?

How was the art festival?? Did you go the beach as well? The weather must be warm for you. It was a bit chilly today with winds, only about 9 or so.

Aw, thank you very much!
No way! I truly loved Victoria, especially the main harbor area,(at least I think it was?) it was June when we were there and there was a lot of art vendors, street performers and super friendly people down there, I loved being able to see the tall ships that were docked and the historical buildings and houses.
We rented a car and drove to the other end?.. We stayed over night in Uculet BC at a beautiful B&B, spent a day in Tofino, shopped a bit and took surfing lessons.. that was fun.. I am so not a surfer lol. My family (Aunt & Uncle) live on the mainland, my grandmother wants to go back, she was talking about it over Christmas and I am going to join her to she doesn't have to travel alone, she wants to take the train, I would rather fly and just get there in a day, but we shall see, possibly on next years agenda! My uncle works for the RCMP, and this year he is traveling a lot, right now he is in Afghanistan. He is set to retire next year and I would rather go when he is home and has time to spend and give us the tour.
How fun would it be to meet up!! Seriously, chat over a tea/coffee!!

I can't wait to read the Chill of Night and then the 3rd, I wonder if everything is wrapped up in the last book or if James will write a 4th? I love a good book series, but when they release a book like 5 years later, then I feel the need to start the series all over again lol .. hense my super long 'to read' list!

That's sounds great. I love the beach but I live in Montreal so ours is man made. It's not the same. Enjoy the takeout and the beach and you have a good weekend as well.

Hey, all is well. We're at my husband's dads house in Ontario for a few days and he has no wi-fi. When you're so used to wi-fi and you don't have it you go out of your mind.lol. No way to check my emails , or write reviews, check Facebook or anything. Hope all is well. I'm at his mom's now and thankfully she's got wi-fi. Hope all is well with you and your family. I'm going home Sunday so I'm looking forward to being back to civilization.lol

I am loving Lauren's book, I think I read close to half it it last night, its such an easy read and I am extremely tired today!

I meant to ask you awhile ago, what part of BC do you live in? I have family that lives in Ladner, and visited them years ago for a wedding. I want to go back, I fell in love with the natural beauty. I was only there a week, I tried to squeeze so much in, and definitely didn't get to see as much as I wanted, I did manage to visit Victoria though.
