I really enjoyed this sunscreen. I'm very pale and burn very easily, so sunscreen is very important to me. I have to wear sunscreen anytime I'm outside for a significant period of time or else I will burn. This sunscreen is one of the nicest feeling sunscreens on my skin that I've tried. It's way less greasy than a lot of other sunscreens and my skin almost seemed to glow a little bit (maybe a slight shimmer?). I never had a problem with burning, as long as I remembered to re-apply as normal. I really appreciate that it comes in SPF 60. This product is scented and smells kind of like coconut. As much as I do enjoy the smell, it is VERY strong. I don't want to always smell like my sunscreen, and found it would sometimes give me a bit of a headache. It also became challenging if I wanted to wear a different scent. Overall, it did a good job at what it's supposed to do and feels so much less greasy on the skin than most sunscreens. However, I really wish there was an unscented option - the scent was just a little too much for me. -

I was a little nervous to use this product, but I was pleasantly surprised! I have combination skin that is acne-prone and can sometimes be sensitive to some products. I’ve often found that acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid only make my skin more irritated, so I tend to try and stick with gentler products. However, I've been experiencing some minor breakouts and was looking for a good scrub to help clear my pores. I heard great things about this scrub so I decided to give it a try.
I was totally impressed! I've used a couple of St. Ives scrubs in the past, but this one is by far my favourite. It has a finer grain for exfoliation, so it's much less rough and irritating than the Apricot acne scrub. However, it seems to do a great job of getting rid of dead skin, and helping to clear and prevent minor breakouts (including blackheads). My skin is left feeling soft and smooth. The amount of salicylic acid in it seems to work well for my skin and doesn’t leave it red or irritated. I love that it has green tea in it because I feel that it helps calm my skin too and prevent further irritation. The price is also fantastic - way cheaper than a lot of other drug store scrubs. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I love this toothpaste. It leaves my mouth feeling super clean and fresh for a really solid amount of time after I've brushed. With other toothpastes, that feeling disappears basically right after brushing. It's nice to have a toothpaste where you feel fresher for longer. It's also really great value for the price. I can get it for less than $3 at Walmart. I will say that I haven't noticed any real difference in terms of whitening. My teeth have stayed basically the same colour. But I think it does a good job of protecting against cavities and other oral health issues, which is the most important thing for a toothpaste. I've used this toothpaste for years and likely will continue to use it for years to come. -

I wasn't super impressed with this shampoo and conditioner. I think they were pretty average, and nothing about them really amazed me. I was compelled to buy them mainly because of the smell. They smell very fruity and sweet which drew me in. I was also looking for a shampoo/conditioner designed for adding moisture. However, I felt that this collection failed to do that for me. These products did make my hair very shiny, but they unfortunately also left my hair feeling rough and coarse. But while my hair felt dry overall, my roots were actually left slightly oily, even after I had just washed my hair. This meant that I had to wash my hair much more frequently than I usually do, which may have contributed to why my hair was feeling dried out. Lastly, I feel that it's pretty overpriced for what it is. Overall, the collection works ok and isn't terrible. But I have used other collections from other brands that left my hair feeling a lot softer and healthier. -

This is one of my favourite body lotions. I am absolutely in love with the smell - it smells like chocolate. The smell does fade a little after you put it on, so it's not overpowering. It works great to keep my skin extra smooth and moisturized. It's very soothing on my skin after a shower, and it does eliminates the flakiness of dry skin. I especially love this moisturizer in the winter when my skin is at its driest. It feels a bit thicker than some moisturizers I've used, so sometimes I find it a little heavy (such as on a hot summer day). I don't think it completely absorbs into my skin, but it certainly doesn't feel slimy or greasy. I do find that it feels a little bit sticky from time-to-time though. Overall, this product provides great moisture to your skin and smells amazing. It's fantastic for getting rid of dry skin, but can feel a tad heavy/sticky on occasion. -

This is my favourite scrub from the St. Ives line. I find it works well to remove dry, flaky skin and leaves my face feeling smooth and refreshed. It smells amazing, and is very inexpensive (which I love). While the St. Ives Apricot scrub is more commonly raved about, I personally prefer this "Even & Bright" scrub because I find it much more gentle on my face than the Apricot scrub. This product does a great job at scrubbing my skin without being scratchy or irritating to my breakout-prone skin. I would definitely recommend this scrub as a cheap but effective way to gently exfoliate your face. -

This spray has been a regular part of my hair routine for years! It works great to keep my hair strong and prevent damage from heat styling. I used to blow-dry my hair after every wash, and using this spray every time kept my hair silky, smooth and soft. I can't imagine doing any heat styling without it! I have hair that is resistant to style, so I often have to use very hot settings on my curling wand/straightener. But even with these super hot tools, this spray leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy and not dry or crispy. I have tried a few other heat protectants in the past, but I have always liked this one the best. It's lightweight, protects my hair, has a pleasant subtle scent and I love the design of the bottle for getting an even spray on my hair. I only wish that it was a little bit cheaper, but it often goes on sale. -

I originally bought this product because I was looking for a leave-in conditioner to prevent frizz and make my hair easier to manage out of the shower (i.e. eliminate tangles, pulling and breakage). I used to have long, heavy, straight hair that would easily tangle at the ends and became slightly frizzy when air drying it. I like using this product on wet hair. I think it's perfect for detangling/preventing breakage and it definitely makes my hair more smooth once it dries. My hair is now short, and I still continue to use this product to prevent frizz after drying and add moisture to my ends. However, I didn't find that it did much for preventing frizz caused by humidity or styling. I also didn't like using this on dry hair because it just left my hair looking and feeling greasy. You could see exactly where I applied it, and all the strands clumped together (even after brushing through). Overall, I think this is an OK product to add some extra smoothness to hair after showering, but I don't know that it's the best at controlling all cases of frizziness. -

This has been my go-to cleanser for years. It was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist as a gentle cleanser while I was on a very drying, intense acne medication. But I have been using this cleanser ever since! I just find that it does the best job of cleaning my face without being overly harsh or irritating like some soaps and cleansers. I like that it is a simple cleanser without a million other unnecessary bells and whistles added in. It does a great job of leaving my skin clean and removing my makeup with no residue left after rinsing. I still have issues with mild acne from time-to-time, and have found that this cleanser does the best job of being sensitive to irritated skin. I also really like the packaging - i.e. the fact that it has a pump. It makes it easy to grab some cleanser while your face is dripping wet without having to fiddle with a cap. The one drawback is that it does cost quite a bit of money - but it goes on sale quite often, and a little really does go a long way. -

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. My skin tends to be breakout-prone and also dry, so I prefer to use very gentle products to avoid irritating my face. I think this product was fine for being gentle on my skin. In my opinion, it lives up to its claims of being good for sensitive skin. Compared to the wipes, it was nice that you could control how much product you are putting on your face. For example, I could get a cotton pad more saturated than the wipes, to get a more thorough cleanse. As much as this product was refreshing and gentle on my face, I just didn't feel like it was a necessary part of my routine. I don't think it had any benefits to my skin over using just regular water and a soft cleanser, other than maybe being a bit less effort. I never really felt like it got my skin completely clean, and I still felt like it left an unnecessary film/residue behind on my face. It was also a little disappointing that it couldn't be used to remove eye-makeup like the wipes do. So while this product didn't do any damage, I also don't feel like it really did anything amazing either. -
