My mom and I are avid Jodi Picoult readers. She has been our favourite author since we read My Sister's Keeper, and she rarely disappoints. Every time my mom is in Costco, she heads to the book section to see if they have any Picoult books. She found Lone Wolf there one day, and bought it (they're usually about 5 dollars cheaper at Costco than at a book store). She read and loved it, and passed it on to me like she does with all books she enjoys. I was reluctant to read it, thinking a novel about wolves wouldn't be my thing. Finally, after about 3 years, I found it in my cupboard while looking for a new book to read. I decided I would finally give it a try, and I am so happy I did!!
I couldn't put the book down! Every detail of the story drew me in. The story is about a man and his daughter who are in a car accident and the man winds up in a vegetative state on life support. It is then up to his daughter and estranged son to make the decision on whether or not to terminate life support. This causes friction because both kids have a different opinion on what their father's wishes would be.
As with most of Jodi's novels, she puts you in the head of each character, alternating the character narrative in each chapter. This creates a strong connection for the reader to each character and makes it difficult to choose a side, or even decide what you would do in a similar situation.
Another similarity between this book and her others is that you get taken through a court trial, which I always thought was an interesting feature.
The book is not only about wolves, as I had previously assumed by the title. However, wolves hold a strong theme in the book. The wolf aspect is so compelling and will give you a completely different view on the creatures, and on life and family and general.
I am absolutely in love with this book. After finishing it, I was left feeling sad that it was over, and feeling like I will never be able to find another novel that will be as good and capture me so fully.
I would recommend this novel to anyone and will pass it on to everyone I know. It is also very likely that this will become a novel I read over and over again, hoping that somehow, the outcome will be different.

I have been using Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins for about 3 months now, and I have noticed a drastic improvement in my nails especially. I have always had very weak nails that broke and split very easily. I also bit them on a constant basis, so between the biting and the breaking, my nails were always very short. Since taking these vitamins, my nails have become significantly stronger and have stopped breaking and splitting, and because of this, I have quit my nasty nail biting habit! I finally have long, nice nails for the first time in my life!!
I haven't seen as much of a change in my hair and skin; my hair seems to be growing slightly faster than usual, but not a big change. I will for sure keep taking the vitamins even solely for what they have done for my nails.
They seem to be about average price for vitamins, and I have been able to get coupons for them a few times.
The gummies taste good and make it seem like less of a chore to take. It's just like eating candy!

I got a coupon for a free box of the Special K Protein Cereal, so I got a box and tried it after a workout. It tasted delicious - way better than I expected a protein cereal to taste - and it kept me full for longer. Being someone who works out regularly, I am always hungry, so it's nice to eat something that tastes great and can keep me full for a longer period of time.
My mom likes to mix it in with her yogurt and some fruit. Great alternative to granola!!

I just got my first cold sore(s) ever and didn't know what it was or how to treat it until it was already too late to do much about it other than wait it out. However, I bought the Polysporin Cold sore healing patch in the hopes of it healing them up quicker. It's hard for me to say if they helped or not because my sores were already pretty bad by the time I used it. It seemed to be pulling out the infection though. I think it works more effectively if you use it at the first signs of a cold sore. I will probably try it again the next time I get one if I catch it soon enough.
Plus side; when I bought it, it was on sale at Zehrs for $14.99.

I was so excited when I found out OPI makes a matte top coat! I love the look of matte nails and the top coat allows you to give any of the polishes you already own a matte finish! It works very well and looks amazing for the first couple of days. However, it does begin to wear off after a few days and your polish just begins to look a little shiny.
I've been told to avoid using hand sanitizer while you have it on as it wears the matte finish off quicker.

I've always struggled with sensitive skin and while I was in college, it got really bad. I had allergic reactions to almost anything I put on my face, including things I had used in the past and been fine with. My dermatologist recommended Cetaphil Facial Cleanser and my skin has never had difficulties with it. It is the perfect cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean.
You can even purchase it at Costco witch is always a plus for me!
The only thing that could possibly be considered a negative is that it doesn't suds up like some cleansers do.

I buy it from Costco. They have a three pack so you don't have to worry about buying it again for a while.
