My son received this when he was born, and it’s been a toy he goes back to again and again. At first it was for the lights and music. Then it was word recognition- his name, his favorite color and food. Now he dances along to the songs and plays the games (“bark like a dog!”). I only wish they made Scout in more colors so I could get a different one for my younger son. It’s a wonderful toy. -

The hospital gave us these when both our boys were born, and we have never strayed. They are just the top of the line, super soft, great absorbency, and cute patterns (not that that actually matters). We’ve tried a few from friends who gave us some extras of random brands and there is just no comparison. These are by far the best out there. -

My son received this as a gift, so we kept it, but it’s not great. I usually love VTech stuff but this one was a miss. The Dino doesn’t really move well, the little pieces are too hard for my son to put in without knocking the Dino over (I even have a hard time) and it quickly feels repetitive. It got put in a bin, and he never goes looking for it. -

My son (and husband) play with this thing almost every day in the winter months/when it’s raining. All I hear is full-out laughter when they play. I love that we can adjust the height of the hoop as he gets bigger. It’s fun to just play casually (he throws all kinds of stuff through the hoop) or to actually learn about basketball. The whole family has little contests together. I would absolutely recommend this! -

We bought this for my son 3 years ago when he was born, and it is still in his bed as one of his friends he sleeps with. He didn’t really chew on it, but he always banged it around and threw it everywhere, and it held up perfectly. I read in the packaging that each one is hand painted so no two are alike- that’s pretty cool. Now all this said, our package said it was made in France. We recently bought the deer for our younger son, and it said that one is made in china. I almost returned it because of this, but I didn’t. So we’ll see how that one holds up. -
