For big, glam, night out lashes, this is my go to. Although it is definitely on the pricier side, I think it's worth the splurge every once in a while, not to mention a tube will last you for quite a while. With it's nice fat brush and great formula, this mascara does the perfect job of fattening up your lashes, making them looks long and luscious. A little much to use during the day, but for a night out or when you just really want to make your eyes pop, this is all you need. -

I've been visiting Marble Slab for a few years now, ever since I discovered it in University. I must say, if you're an ice cream or dessert fan, this is one place you're going to HAVE to check out. The premise is simple - Choose your ice cream, choose your mixins, and they throw it all together. the part where it gets really good is your selections. With a multitude of delicious flavours and endless choices for toppings, you're guaranteed to get exactly what you want... Not exactly like going to Baskin Robbins and getting a premixed, pre-decided combination of flavours. I think I'm going to have to stop in to one tonight to get my favourite - cheesecake ice cream with Skor pieces and cookie dough. I'm salivating just thinking about it. -

I've always been a big fan of Maybelline Great Lash mascara... There's a reason it's been the #1 mascara for years. They decided to try something a little different with their new Lots of Lashes edition, introducing a new "lash grabber" brush, which is kind of... pear shaped. Upon my first few tries of this mascara, I'm not the biggest fan of the new brush. It found it to be a little difficult to use given the shape and wasn't able to achieve the lush results I usually get with Great Lash. Same formula which I love, but I'm not the biggest fan of the brush. Still worth giving a try, everyone likes their lashes different ways! Personally, I'll be sticking to the tried and true original. -

I'm personally a huge fan of the cat's eye. However, it can sometimes be hard to achieve. I haven't quite mastered the perfect liquid liner line, and have been on the hunt for a good gel liner for a while now. While in WalMart last week I stumbled upon this beauty in the Annabelle section. Available in 5 colours, I went for tar, the nice black shade. I found the consistency to be extremely nice, more "liquid-y" than other gel or cream liners I've tried. It went on extremely smoothly, and once it dried, it wasn't going anywhere, probably due to the fact that it is waterproof. It stayed on all day, and didn't budge. It comes with a liner brush in the handle of the container, however I had problems with this as it is very narrow and I prefer to use my own liner brush with it to create a slightly thicker line. All in all, great product. -

After seeing ads for this product I had to try it. I got it in shade 225 - anemone - a pretty red colour. I wasn't really sure what to expect as it is called a gloss balm but comes in what appears to be lipstick form. Upon application, I was extremely impressed. It had a nice smooth balmy texture, which felt moisturizing on my lips. It also had a hint of colour... Nothing to bright or solid which made it stand out too much, but just the right amount to wear to the office or during the day. I highly recommend this product. I should also mention that it has SPF 15, which is important... Your lips need sun care too! -
