Matcha is all the craze right now, and I, too, have fallen in love with its smooth taste and the relaxing ritual of preparing it. I even have my own set of tools (whisk, bowl) and everything. I enloy taste testing different brands; the only downside? The prices on some of those boxes! Pure Leaf’s matcha is of good quality, and surprisingly affordable. Its colour is vibrantly green, just as it should be, and it has a rich, earthy flavour. It froths beautifully! I like my matcha stronger, so I usually use two sachets. The little packages are great to take with you to the office (and keep the tea away from direct sunlight!). Pure Leaf’s matcha is a great way to start the day and a delicious reason to take a quiet break in the afternoon. -

I love lemongrass-based teas! This one is amazingly fragrant, delicious and made with simple, well-blended ingredients. You can really taste the refreshing lemongrass and ginger, as well as the sweet hint of orange blossom. It comes with added benefits, too - the ginger can help settle down an upset stomach, and the linden flowers are a fantastic natural sleep aid! As a caffeine-free herbal tea, it can be enjoyed at any time of the day, and is especially relaxing right before bed!

Nifty little product for those last few days before your colouring appointment. It’s practically a dry shampoo with colour. The nozzle is long and thin and allows for very precise application, but if you get any on your skin, don’t worry - it comes off right away with just a tissue. I got it in brown, and it’s super easy to use - just spray on the grey :)), brush out and voila! I had to go over some of the spots twice to get them even, but in the end the powder blended perfectly with my hair and looked very natural - no visible chalkiness or stiffness. It smells exactly like dry shampoo, and the scent is not overpowering. You just have to remember to wash your hair before going to bed, as the powder will rub off on pillows. All in all, it’s a great trick to have in your arsenal of last-minute fixes that instantly make you look more put together.

Love this base coat. It’s thin, completely transparent and has a smooth, glossy finish (I’m not a fan of base coats that are too matte/dry or are thick and make polish appear bulky). It dries in a snap and is the perfect foundation for the light, fun, semi-sheer polishes from the Creative Play collection. It’s also great to use on its own as a nail strengthener.

I’m reviewing Peony Ride, which is a semi-sheer and very glossy jelly. I’m not the biggest fan of jellies, but this one is really pretty. I’m in love with the color! I usually like a bit more coverage so I applied three coats. It still did not reach complete opaqueness, but went on very smoothly (and streak- and bubble-free). It’s easy to apply and quick-drying. It did not last very long on my nails (no polish does, really); using the corresponding base and top coat definitely prolonged its staying power, though. The ease of application makes it great for a quick colour change when you’re pressed for time.

I'm a bit obsessed with hand cream – I have to have a tube with me everywhere, at all times, and I buy a lot. I have tried every kind under the sun – with shea butter, with olive oil, with aloe vera, etc. This one is up there with the best of them. It's very hydrating and makes my skin baby soft. I apply it before going to bed and in the morning my hands feel just like they do after a paraffin treatment. It's fast-absorbing and non-greasy so I don't have to worry about staining the sheets. Love the fresh and soothing scent, too! -

I love these as a pre-workout snack,they're a great and super yummy energy source! Most protein bars tend to have a dry and artificial flavor, but these are super creamy and delicious. They're smooth with a slight crunchiness and taste just like candy bars! I was floored when I found out that each contained only 2 g of sugar. Just a heads up - they don't travel well in heat as the chocolate melts quickly. -
