I just love how this cream feels on my skin! The whole Aqualia Thermal line is perfect for summer (even in the sweltering heat wave we've had in Ontario lately) because the products are as hydrating as they are lightweight and refreshing. My skin is combination to oily, sensitive and breakout-prone and I've had zero problems with irritation, pore-clogging or acne while using Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light. It is a little too strongly perfumed, but the scent is very pleasant and disappears quickly. I apply a thin layer in the morning before putting on makeup and after cleansing and applying the Aqualia Thermal serum. It does not cause my make up to slide right off, as some heavier moisturizers tend to do in the warmer months, and I haven't noticed any added shine, even in the T-zone. I love how soft it makes my skin, it goes on like silk and the moisture lasts - my face feels more supple until I take my make up off (and then I reapply the cream, because it just feels too good! :). My skin has visibly improved - it definitely looks healthier and feels fresher. I think I've finally found THE summer moisturizer for me!
Note: I received the product for free from Chickadvisor.

I love these bars so much! :) I tried the Decadent Fudge ones and they're SO yummy (and don't have a chemical aftertaste like so many other meal replacement products). I love that each bar is chock-full of essential vitamins and nutrients! I was a little apprehensive at first because most products of this kind cause a sugar spike for me soon after eating, but not the Nutriforme bars! One of them leaves me feeling perfectly full and satisfies my chocolate cravings. They're perfect to slip in your purse for an afternoon snack at the office or as a pre-workout treat as they provide energy and protein to burn as fuel. I can't really comment on the weight-loss effect as it hasn't been long enough, but the bars seem like they'd be very effective for that, too. They definitely deserve a spot among the best protein bars I've tried! -

I started taking an ampoule a day in my morning glass of freshly squeezed OJ after I received the product for review from ChickAdvisor. I have to say it really does what it says it does! :) I don't really take any other supplements or drink coffee, so I mostly rely on a cup of green tea and exercise to wake me up in the morning and keep me perky throughout the day. This definitely helps fight off the midday slump; I also feel more alert, and for longer. The taste is not the most pleasant, but it's barely noticeable when mixed with orange juice, and the supplement itself is mostly herbal. It's a winner in my books! :) -

I purchased this product soon after I received an adorable little sample in the mail and fell in love with it. The Pearls make for a great daily moisturizer, and are now my best-kept secret for bright, invigorated, smooth skin. I dab a little on my cleansed face in the morning, massage it in and voila - glowing skin, perfectly ready for make up.I don't even need to use cream most of the time. They have the fresh, soothing signature smell of Nivea products that immediately sends me to my happy place of being six years old and getting hugs from mom - she always smelled like Nivea! :) I've been having problems with adult acne and increased skin sensitivity and the Serum Pearls have been an answer to my prayers - no irritation or pore-clogging at all! The texture is light, yet creamy, a bit mousse-like, and non-greasy. The serum sinks in in seconds and makes my skin feel like velvet. It's soft, supple and nourished and shine-free, and I've noticed the early lines I've been getting lately disappear! I'm more of a high-end cosmetics girl - I've spent a fortune on anti-aging creams (including La Mer) since I passed 25, and never expected great results from affordable skincare. Imagine my surprise when I got tried these, and they worked so well! The serum is up to par with some of the most expensive products I've tried, and better than many of the rest. It's affordable, fuss-free and effective - what more could a girl ask for? :) -

I received this product to review for free from ChickAdvisor. This is a very gentle and non-stripping shampoo that's perfect for daily use. Most shampoos tend to dry my hair out when if I use them every day, but not this one! The smell is lovely and the consistency is thick and creamy. It doesn't provide a deep cleanse or a lot of lather, but is hydrating and softening instead. If you're looking for a mild and non-drying shampoo, this is the one! -

I received this product to review for free from ChickAdvisor. I don't use hairspray very often, but I have a bottle of Kerastase Double Force handy for when I need it. This one is just as good, and much more affordable! I like that the smell is fresher and less strong than other hairsprays I've tried, and it goes away quickly. The hold is indeed flexible, looks natural and there's no risk of the hair feeling hard and plastic. It keeps a style in place nicely for hours and is perfect for loose curls and beachy waves! It's also great for keeping the roots volumized after a blowout, and it's non-drying and adds shine. -

I love, love, love this conditioner! It's very smoothing and moisturizing and makes my straight, fine hair so soft and shiny! The consistency is slightly gel-like; it's very lightweight and non-greasy. I can feel the difference immediately as I apply it to my ends in the shower and by the time I rinse it out, my hair feels like silk! It's bouncy, full of life and all the frizz I usually get is gone. It smells great and the scent lasts. I haven't noticed any buildup after continued use (which can cause hair to lose its luster). It's a fantastic daily conditioner for those like me with dry ends, and it's super affordable (especially for the results you get)! -

I'm really glad Garnier jumped on the micellar water trend - the brand is famous for their non-complicated, effective and affordable products, and all of those are qualities I can definitely use in a cleanser. I've been using Bioderma's Sensibio H2O for years and this one is just as good and about half the price. Garnier's Micellar Water is a fantastic one-step cleansing solution - it only has a handful of ingredients and is extremely gentle. It works like a charm on make up, even waterproof mascara - it only takes a couple of large soaked cotton balls to dissolve a full face of make up. It does not irritate eyes at all and is non-drying. It's supposed to be left on without rinsing, which I prefer to do, but it can also be removed with a foaming cleanser. It's virtually scentless, settles in in a matter of seconds without any stickiness, regulates oiliness and the glycerin provides the skin with additional moisture. I don't need to use a toner after! The packaging may seem unreliable at first glance, but make no mistake - it can withstand travel and being toted around in a purse all day (I take it with me whenever I have lunchtime facials scheduled), and I'm definitely not the most careful when it comes to carrying stuff. :) -

This is a very good no-frills daily moisturizer. I really like the airy gel-like consistency. The "wake up" effect is in that it smells and feels very invigorating. The smell is fresh and slightly minty and it tingles a little as it sinks in (not irritatingly, though). I didn't like that it tends to leave a tiny bit of a sticky film as it dries, but that does disappear after five or so minutes. It's lightweight and not deeply moisturizing, but it creates a smooth canvas for make up, leaves skin soft and takes care of any flakes that may appear (especially in winter). It hasn't caused any irritation, breakouts or clogged pores (my skin is acne-prone). It's affordable, a little goes a long way and the packaging is foolproof and very convenient. -

Dry shampoos have been quite the big trend recently, so I've tried a few (Batiste, Klorane, Oribe, etc.) and this one is up there with the best of them. It has the freshest smell (if a bit strong) and is one of the most lightweight. It's not flaky (it can happen with dry shampoos, sometimes they make you look like you have dandruff), it doesn't make my hair look stiff and it's not sticky. The key is to apply with a very light hand, not to spray from too close and to comb the hair out immediately so it doesn't have the time to dry completely and the hair remains bouncy. if I follow these steps, it's practically invisible, gets rid of any oiliness and adds volume and freshness. It's a breeze to wash out and hasn't caused any dryness. It's also very affordable! I don't use it very often, but it's certainly a great product to have handy for when you're in a pinch (or wake up and find out there's no water :)... Or maybe for those lazy weekend days when you just can't be bothered. :) -
