Love the bounce and shine it gives my hair! I tested it alongside the other newly relaunched Dove conditioner, the Daily Moisture, and this one is the slightly thinner one of the two, so it’s more suitable for hair that needs extra volume. I love them both equally though, they both smell lovely and make my hair look great!

I love Teapigs, their teas are of great quality and the packaging is the cutest! Also, MAJOR bonus points for being one of the few brands that are plastic-free (including the teabags, which is super important!). The Peppermint Leaves variety is a cold weather staple - mild, yet fragrant, soothing and refreshing at the same time. The perfect pick-me-up on crisp fall mornings!

Just like the Aveeno Oat Mask with Pumpkin Seed Extract, this is a nice, fast-acting budget mask. I don’t care for the smell, but it’s nothing too offensive. I really like that it only takes 5 to 10 minutes to work so I can guiltlessly slip in a quick treatment before applying makeup in the morning. I don’t like the film it leaves on my skin so I use it right before cleansing. The kaolin clay in it mattifies and skin is left softer.

This is a nice fast-acting budget mask (only takes 5-10 minutes). It smells delicious, like a pumpkin spice muffin with a hint of coconut! There’s a warming sensation upon application. It’s little hard to rinse off and leaves behind a slimy film so I had to use a gentle cleanser. It mattifies (it contains kaolin clay, which is great for oily and combo skin) and softens immediately. Good for a quick treatment in the morning!

I’ve been using aluminum-free deodorants ever since I read about the potential harmful effect aluminum can have on the endocrine system, so I was very excited to test this one. The Dove 0 % Aluminum is a silky colorless stick with a very fresh, green scent. it glides on very smoothly and moisturizes the underarm area. As far as lasting odor protection goes, I have tried better. I do love the sleek packaging, though, and the fact that affordable aluminum-free deodorants are now made widely available.

Love the fact that this dessert packs serious protein and such a low calorie content! It’s the ultimate guilt-free treat. It has a light texture, yet is filling. This is my least favourite product from the collection. I just don’t feel like it did much for my skin. It’s a thick, green cream in the bottle, and turns clear once applied. It’s important to apply it very quickly as it dries in literal seconds and becomes very sticky; also, make sure to use as generously as possible, because the thinner it is, the harder it is to peel off in one piece. It dries fully to a matte finish in under a minute and makes skin feel very tight. The scent is not pleasant, but it’s barely there so it didn’t really bother me. I peeled it off after 15 minutes. The peeling itself does remove the dead skin on the surface, but the effect was just not that noticeable. I prefer a more thorough exfoliation once or twice weekly. It also left my skin feeling dry.

More of a moisturizer than a mask, this works well as a lightweight night cream. It comes in a squeeze bottle with a hilarious silicone applicator that looks like a platypus bill. You’re supposed to only use that for application and not touch your face. It was a bit tricky in the beginning but I got the hang of it. The mask absorbs very fast but does feel sticky for a couple of minutes. It’s lightly moisturizing and skin looks refreshed in the morning. It also has the fresh Aveeno scent that I love!

My favourite product from the Maxglow collection! This is a good serum/summer moisturizer. It comes in a pretty green glass bottle with a glass dropper. It’s very light, fast-absorbing and non-sticky (especially suitable for my oily T-zone), and hydrates nicely. It’s a great morning treatment as it slightly brightens and invigorates and preps for makeup. It has the signature Aveeno scent - fresh and lovely.

Peppermint tea is my cold weather staple and my answer to pretty much everything form a long day at work to a variety of cold-related ailments. :) This one is delicious and very fragrant! It’s soothing and refreshing at the same time - the green tea in it provides a mild caffeine kick without the side effects of coffee, and the peppermint does wonders for an upset stomach or an irritated throat. I like that it’s not too strong and can’t be oversteeped - the dosage in each pyramid is just perfect.
