I was on the fence about buying an Instant Pot for a long time. I really wondered if I needed another appliance in my kitchen. I found it on sale about 6 weeks ago & left it sitting in the box looking at me while I decided if I was going to try it out.
Well I finally gave in & used it. My first go with it was a pork loin roast with potatoes & carrots. Perfection! I used the saute feature to sear the roast, deglazed the pot with some broth, added my potatoes & carrots, and the roast. I set the timer for 25 minutes as the recipe said and walked away to make a salad & set the table. The roast was cooked perfectly, the veggies were tender, & I made gravy right in the pot to go with it.
I already steam my eggs, but have read so many rave reviews about hard boiled eggs cooked in the Instant Pot that I am going to give it a try. Dried beans, rice, chili, pulled pork, stew, chicken, my slow cooker is going to be collecting dust.
If you are like me and don't really know if you need an Instant Pot, just go get one. You won't be sorry.

I really prefer Oreo Thins as I find that the cookie/creme ratio is much better. I do really like the Salted Caramel Thins. I would like a bit more salt in them, but can live without it. We can get Oreo Cookies on sale for $2 a package quite regularly, so they are a great price. I find that 2 cookies is enough to satisfy my craving for something sweet. I will continue to buy these! -

It definitely brought out the curl in my hair without weighing it down. A little bit goes a long way, my hair is collar length & a dime size amount was enough. My daughter has longish very curly hair that leans to frizzy. It worked wonders for her hair. Lots of wonderful curl, without the frizz! I will definitely buy this for her as a stocking stuffer, & for other gift giving occasions. I do wish it wasn't quite so expensive. -

I got a sample of the Brilliant Brunette Multi Tone revealing shampoo & conditioner. They were absolutely wonderful. I have since purchased the shampoo. It leaves my hair, soft, shiny & it looks like there are flecks of gold in it in the sunshine. It also brings out the curl in my wavy hair, even tho this isn't what it is intended for. I will buy it again, but will wait for a coupon as it is quite pricy. -

This has become my new go to colour. The brand I used to use faded out quickly & turned blondish unless I went to a much darker colour. Garnier Nutrisse colour holds very well, & doesn't fade out to blonde. Even tho my natural colour is brunette, my hair has a red core (according to my hairdresser), so it tends to turn quite reddish, and depending on the colour can even lean towards carrot top colour. Nutrisse doesn't do this to my hair, With my chosen colour I get auburn tones but nothing over the top.
I will continue buying Garnier Nutrisse!
