I had high hopes for this “Skin-Reserve Blend” by Clean Beauty after reading its description. I’m a big fan of warm/vanilla scents so I thought this would be perfect. Unfortunately I was disappointed in this fragrance.
All I smell from initially spraying it, to the dry down is a strong floral smell, with a little bit of musk. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but this smells nothing like vanilla, or what’s described from others reviewers. It’s just straight floral! Also i wouldn’t even call this a fragrance as it doesn’t last at all on your skin, no matter how much is applied. I’d consider this more of natural skin enhancer. It slightly amplifies your own natural scent (very slightly). It also has no sillage either, so people don’t even know you’re wearing perfume. I guess for a close office setting this may work, but for me I actually want to smell my perfumes. I was hoping for a warm, cozy, winter, vanilla type fragrance, and ended up with flowers. Was definitely not a fan of this and would not recommend it. #CleanReserve #perfumereview #perfumelovers

So this isn’t a typical fragrance combo I go for, but was still very curious how this would mix with my skin. I actually was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this scent. It gives off dark/sexy/spicy notes you could wear on date night, but also these floral/amber notes that would do well for daytime wear. It’s a very unique combination of scents that I personally never smelled anything like it. I received compliments every day that I wore it.
I also want to add that this is a beautiful light green liquid, that comes in a clear bottle. It is also water based, so it’s gentle on your skin, and also hydrating. I was very impressed to see that this lasted all day, considering that it is water based. I do love that Clean Beauty truly cares for our environment, animals, and health when it comes to making their perfumes.
I can definitely see myself wearing this everyday, and want to purchase the bigger bottle! Give it a try, as it may surprise you like it did for me.

💜How to Use:
1. take 3 to 4 pumps of cleansing oil onto the palms of hands.
2. gently massage over the dry face.
3. emulsify with a little bit of water and massage until oil turns milky.
4. rinse thoroughly with water and no need for double cleansing.
🤔My Review: This is a new type of cleanser texture I’ve never tried before. It is literally an oil and very watery. I immediately smelled a pleasant fragrance to it that I enjoyed. You have to be sure to apply to a dry face and massage first. It was so interesting to then see/feel it turn into this milky texture once water is added. I’m a double cleanser girl and liked how I didn’t need to do that with this product. My face felt super clean, makeup was fully removed, and I didn’t feel the need to double cleanse. I wish the sample was bigger so I can try for at least 1 week, to give a thorough review. But I did not break out using this the 1x and super impressed.
