Never was I more excited to get a puzzle in the mail than I was to get this Clueless Retro Blockbuster 500 piece puzzle. I opened the box and instantly was transported back to 1990s browsing through Blockbuster. It comes in a duplicate of the BB plastic box (though wider) and opens the same! The puzzle itself is awesome, who was born in the 80s and doesn't love Clueless? -

My kids loved this puzzle! It made their day - especially my youngest who loves Blues Clues! The puzzle is 24 pieces and they are perfect sized for my 5 year old's hands. This puzzle kept her busy for a while but wasn't too difficult for her so she didn't get frustrated. Would recommend these puzzles for family fun (or any parent looking to get a few minutes of quiet)!! -

We received the Rubik's Perplexus Fusion 3x3 and immediately opened it up out of the box. My girls were incredibly excited to play with it, but it was a little hard for my 8 year old. My younger ones didn't understand it at all. However, we had my 12 year old niece over, and she loved it and spent about 45 minutes working on it! I would 100% buy it again, but I would err on the side of an older child, at least 10 years old. The toy itself is really well made and sturdy, unlike a lot of the junkier Rubik's cubes, so it is well worth the money! -

My kids absolutely loved the kinetic sand sandbox. We have played with kinetic sand over the past couple of years, but I never purchased it with a box and tools, only as a sensory toy to touch. It took the kinetic sand experience to a new level. I loved that there was a box to keep the sand contained. Normally I just use a cookie pan but the kids preferred this. And I never thought about using tools and shapes to make something similar to sandcastles and other scenes.
This bought me a goos hour of (clean) quiet and the kids have already asked to play with it again today!

My kids loved the Orbeez Color Meez Activity Kit. It gives them the opportunity to color water beads in shades that they like, then layer them to make visions. We first put the dried Orbeez in water and put aside to let them grow. Then we divided the already grown Orbeez and colored them and created a mermaid scene. I liked that you are forced to extend The activity over a couple days due to the fact that some of the beats are dried. The one downfall is that the coloring stains her hands just like food coloring, however it was a small price to pay to not have to sort through individual beads to find the perfect colors. -

The Hairstruck and Party Pop refill kits for the Hollywood Hair Extension Maker are accessories that you will want to include if you are giving this as a gift. They each include different hair ribbons than the original, but they also include different colors and things like hair ties and headbands. I aim to spend about $25-35 per gift, so adding one of these would feel like completing a gift for a kid. My daughter (8) was able to do these without any assistance from me, always something I look for when buying crafts. I received these for free but would recommend them to anyone who has a kid interested in salon crafts. -

I received the Cool Maker Hollywood Hair Extension Maker today and my kids (8, 6, 4) tore into it. The idea (turning ribbons into colorful hair extensions) was too much for them to handle. When we opened the package they were in love with how many options of ribbons there were. I needed to help with the set up and loading it for the first time, but after that, the 8 and 6 year old were able to do it themselves (and they helped the 4 year old). I got this for free but this would be the perfect gift for that age range (8-10) where it seems like all they want are crafts, and this was as hands free from my perspective as it gets. They always ask to play salon and usually want to make nailpolish or soap, so I can see this becoming part of our normal salon/sleepover craft that doesn't involve much mess.
As far as the actual quality, it is ok, the ribbons didn't come out perfect, and holding a curl is hard but it kept my kids occupied for an hour and they seemed happy with the results.

I have been buying as much of this lysol laundry sanitizer as I can get my hands on. Having a nurse in the fam, I am always looking for laundry sanitizing that isn't as harsh as bleach. This contains no bleach but sanitizes as well as it. Plus the added benefit of if i spill some it doesn't dye my clothes. It is hard to get during this pandemic time but if you can, I highly recommend it, particularly for things like dog accidents, medical clothes, masks, and more. -

I really wanted to love this. It was the "hot" gift of the year for my first 2 children's births, so I was gifted 3 of them in between the kids. The problem is, none of them enjoyed it. I would constantly try to give it to them, but they much preferred nubby toys or toys that could be frozen. Eventually I gave up - my dogs tore 2 of them and one was lost in the depths of my car. Its worth a try to see if it works for your kid, but it didn't for my family. -
