A little while ago I received a sample of the "light" lotion in gel by Lancome. It was absolutely fantastic. Moisturizing and light and made my skin look amazing. Sephora (in Canada anyway) does not carry the "light" version so I decided to try this. It was awful. It dried out my skin immediately. It was so bad it actually made my skin look scaly. The difference between the 2 products is huge. The only reason I gave it more than 1 star was because it is a good sized product. -

First let me start off by saying I hate meal replacement drinks. I have tried a few in the past and after one tiny (disgusting) sip it would go down the drain. I cannot stand the taste of artificial sweeteners or additives. I absolutely despise powdered shakes and supplements but guess what?
This was delicious!
I have 2 children (2 high energy children) and even when just at home I find they keep me on the go. Aside from picking at things here and there when I make their meals I rarely have time to sit and have a full meal. As bad as it is I usually have enough time for a coffee in the morning before I tackle that days work. This is why I was very excited to try Carnation Breakfast Essentials.
I genuinely like this product and the likes definitely outweighed the dislikes.
I loved the taste. There was no sucralose or artificial sweeteners which is definitely a deal breaker
for me when it comes to food and drink. It's super easy to prepare. 1 packet in 1 cup of milk and mix. That's it. It gave me more energy! I definitely found that this gave me an extra burst of energy throughout the day.
There were only a couple things I didn't like but I was able to modify.
I do not drink whole/homogenized milk as it suggests so I substituted 1%.
I found that 1 cup of milk was not enough and it was a bit too thick so I just added a bit until it got to thinner consistency. I also found it a tad hard to stir it all together and found shaking it worked better to dissolve the powder.
In the end I really like this product and will continue to drink it when needed. Now I just have to get to it before my husband does (he likes it too).

My daughter who is just over a year still loves formula. Like her brother when he was a baby she would rather drink her formula than eat food (yuck). Normally I purchase a brand from Germany but thought this might be easier than waiting 4 weeks for it to arrive. Unfortunately the ingredients of this supplement did not sit well with my daughter. She has tried other North American brands (when we run out) with no trouble. From the first cup of this she drank she would continually vomit as if she were a new born baby. Not only that - she became incredibly constipated. After about 2 or 3 uses I ended up giving it to my sister for her kids so it wouldn't go to waste.

My daughter loved these! My daughter loves yoghurt drops in general. She will usually try and not eat her entire meal and hold out for these snacks (ok on the occasion I give in) She will sit and eat an entire bag if I let her. I was skeptical with this flavour because she hates bananas. The texture, the flavour. She won't eat pureed bananas or yoghurt that has banana in it. She won't eat banana bread or a good ol' plain piece of fruit. She did how ever love these. The flavour isn't too strong and is more of a subtle banana flavour. Did I mention my 4 year old snuck a few too.

I got this item free as part of the ChickAdvisor product review. While I would definitely recommend this to someone I don't think I would use it again myself. I did notice moisturizing effects very quickly but nothing to make me look "more awake". I used it for a few weeks under my make up and it worked perfectly fine but I found that it had a silicone feel to it which I do not like. -

This product is fantastic. I normally use a Micellar water from a high end french brand but it was getting too pricey to keep it up. While the ingredients are exactly the same the results are. There was no burning of the eyes when I used it to remove my mascara. I have very sensitive skin and normally most products wreak havoc on it. Definitely not the case with this product. Thank you for making a wallet friendly version. -

There were things I liked and disliked about this flavour. Like: I absolutely love dark chocolate and almonds. Dislike: Everything else. The blueberry and Açai had a very simulated flavour and left a bad aftertaste. I definitely wasn't a fan.

I was very disappointed by this flavour. I love coconut on everything. This bar, however, tasted more like suntan lotion than a chocolate bar. Perhaps it was the mango that over did it. I could only eat a small square it was so strong.
