I live in a small town in Canada and access to Nars is not easy! I ended up purchasing online because I had heard so much hype about the Nars Orgasm blush. It is a really great color that is flattering on almost any skin tone. It also stays on longer than any other blush I have tried. However, my Covergirl cheekers blush in 105- Rose Silk is basically a dupe and a much more reasonable price. It will probably take me awhile to use up all the Nars Orgasm..but after I run out, I think I'll stick with my Covergirl. Although.. If you aren't on a tight makeup budget and want a pretty blush that lasts longer, Nars is a great choice! -

This lipgloss is AMAZING. I picked it up after having read the reviews here on chickadvisor, but I was still slightly unsure of what to expect! It really does smell like mint, and I found myself picking up the wand again and again to sniff it! I love the smell, but once I had applied it to my lips I couldn't smell it anymore! I'm not usually a lipgloss girl at all. I'm in university and have to walk around campus to class all the time, so having sticky lipgloss that my hair gets stuck in is a huge pain. Luckily, this lipgloss is not sticky at all! I bought the sheer pink color, and I love how it's just a little bit of color for a pretty, natural look while also smoothing out my lips.
I will be repurchasing this for sure! :)

I've been using this product for about a week. The Shea Body Butter works great for dry skin. This time of year is when my skin is the most dry. The butter is a very thick consistency so a little goes a far way. I really liked this especially for my knees and heels, it was amazing how much it healed these especially dry areas! The product sinks into your skin and my skin stayed moisturized all day.
I didn't really like the smell. I agree with the others who have said it is slightly masculine. The other butters I have tried had a much better smell. However, it's not extremely strong and I usually just used the product before bed anyway.
I have seen many competitor body butters who have tried to copy The Body Shop- and those definately do not compare. If your looking for a body butter this is definately worth the price. When this runs out, I'll definately purchase another one- but probably in a different scent! (The mango smells delicious!)

Annabelle kohl eyeliner is my new love!! Trust me, I am probably one of the hardest eyeliner critics.. but this stuff is amazing! With every other eyeliner I have tried, either I couldn't get the product to apply so it looked suitable to be seen in or it smudged within a few hours.. although I admit it may not be the product and rather my terrible eyeliner applying skills. However, this eyeliner goes on really smoothly and lasts quite a while! Plus, there is a huge color selection and they have great pigmentation. The annabelle kohl eyeliner was on sale for 2.99 so I picked up three shades, and I'm not disappointed with any of them! This is a fantastic product. -

I purchased this in 415 about a month ago. I'm not a big lipstick fan and find most lipglosses too sticky, so I generally prefer lip stains. I was absolutely in love with Revlon's "Just Bitten" lip stain in Cherry Tart, but unfortunately that must have been a limited edition product because I can't find it anywhere. That said.. I tried a couple other lipstains that were not the color I was looking for, and then I came across this one.
Pros: It's really easy to apply, the color is beautiful and exactly the shade I was looking for, it smells good, and is easy to carry around with you for touchups, and the price is great
Cons: It makes my lips look dry unless I apply a gloss over top and it does not last as long as other stains I have tried
Overall, if your looking for a lip stain this is the best I have come across so far for the price!

I used the moisturizer up longg ago, and when the perfume runs out I will definately repurchase. My university is scent-free, but I always have this perfume on when I'm on a date or out with friends. It has great staying power but isnt overpowering when you first put it on either like some perfumes! and of course the scent is terrific and perfect for any time of the year! I recommend this for sure. -

I got this quad in Precious Metals. I've been using it almost everyday since, mostly for class but a few times for going out as well. I find the colors go on much shearer than I expected, but it lives up to the promise of gliding on smoothly. I don't find it lasts a very long time, but I don't mind having to reapply. The only thing I really dislike is that with some of the colors, especially the grey, there is a lot of glitter that gets all over my face. Sometimes I use the skin colored creme shadow as a base for a powder shadow, which I find sets it really well.
Overall, it's quick and easy to apply and can really brighten up your eyes!

So I picked up this product about a week ago, after the seeing the commericial for it on TV. It shows a girl with "rockstar" gorgeous waves, and even though I had read some reviews on it that were not terrific- I wanted to try it out for myself.
I have blonde naturally straight hair. I tried this product as soon as I got out of the shower. I scrunched and scrunched and scrunced, and nothing happened. I tried clipping my hair up in little buns all over my head- when I released them I still didn't notice a difference. I tried it again the next day with hair that was more towel dried and it still didn't work. I'm a little disappointed.
On the good side, it smells really good! .. but the smell didn't last long either.
All in all, not a very effective product for my hair type anyway. At least it didn't cost much- on sale for $2.99 CDN

I am constantly on the lookout for a perfect mascara. This is the most recent one I decided to try. So far, I really like it! You might want something a little more dramatic for going out, but this is perfect for a daytime look. You really do only need one coat, and your eyelashes look thicker. It has vitamin b5 and aloe which keeps my eyelashes healthy, and I can wear it from morning until I get back to my dorm in the afternoon without having to reapply. Also- no clumps, and NO raccoon eyes! :) Downside is that I really don't find it does much for lengthing- but curling your eyelashes helps! -
